I have not hired since the pandemic started and been celibate since February. I have jumped on here and rentmen limitedly on and off since then because I knew I wasn't quite ready to hire. The itch is really coming in strong right now and I think I'm ready to hire a trusted escort. With that said, Who are the "go-to" guys these days in Los Angeles? Kristian Elix is my regular guy but he's still on a break. I've been with Meatball Mike in the past twice and he's someone I would consider breaking my CoVid celibacy for. But even as I browsed through the L.A. rentmen guys today, no one really is jumping out at me. Who are the top hires in Los Angeles these days for the boyfriend experience?

Unfortunately I haven’t traveled to LA or anywhere since last year and my go to guy in LA (Kerry Slate) seems to have retired ?

I think, if you want to be taking the least risk possible you want input on the “don’t go to” guys... odds are they’ve been less busy... ;)

You’ve been sequestered a long time (I have been since March so I get it) so just ask a lot of questions. As honestly as they answer there’s always a built-in IDK factor. Let us know how it resolves

Well I talked with an escort yesterday who has great reviews and I talk to guys who has been with him and they all recommend. I was chatting with him and plan to meet him last night. But I lost my nerves because I was too panicked about coronavirus. I apologize and he understood but there goes to show I’m quite not ready. Oh well.

I totally understand your position and your quandary about hiring in this time. It all comes down to one’s personal risk tolerance and one’s particular circumstances, especially regarding your personal health status and age. These are all risk factors. One also has to assess how important sex is in your life. If escorts are the only viable source of satisfying your sexual needs, then you have to consider whether you can live without sex for an indeterminate time. Until a vaccine is available and the disease is more or less suppressed worldwide, then you need to think about whether you can hold out for the next several years.

Next several years? That’s debatable & unrealistic!

It's debatable but not unrealistic for the same reason: we haven't learned enough yet to know what will work to make it safe to mingle. Careful not to substitute what you want for what you know. That's an all too common practice, but can have deadly consequences in the context of this pandemic.

I said until the virus is suppressed more or less worldwide but what if the only vaccine they come up with in the next year or so is only 50 percent effective. That would mean still around 30,000 daily cases in the US unless other measures can be taken. For those who have a low threshold for risk, this would not change things from where we are today.

I have to agree that it's not unrealistic. Here's the problem with escorting and covid, and I've posted about this before:

There is every indication that where Covid is concerned, the dose makes the poison. In other words, the more of the virus you take in the sicker you are likely to become. An escort-client interaction is just asking for severe symptoms.

I have not figured out how to reconcile this with, finally, some day going back to work.

To your question Kaboom, I wish I could help you, I do not really know other LA escorts these days, apart from the wonderful/perfect Kristian of course. Good luck!

Next several years? That’s debatable & unrealistic!

In the 22 days since you posted this, the cases in the US have risen to over 130,000 daily.

Also there has been news a vaccine that is 90 percent effective may be available by some time early next year to begin to rollout.

Meaning 10 percent, over 10,000 new cases daily. Early in the pandemic, that would have been regarded as horrendous. So where is all the good news in this?

And the assumption is that everyone will take the vaccine. Really?? Where is the evidence for that, given all the antivaccers.

I ill stick with my view that we are no-where near the end of this pandemic.

Let’s see...cases have risen in the US to over 130,000 daily in the last 22 days.

‘And the vaccine will not be available until early 2021 for rollout.

‘Therefore, according to your “logic” this pandemic will be with us ”for the next several years”?

And we all should plan on holding out for several years.

Makes perfect sense!

Do me a favor....check back with me in 2024 & let me know where we are at.

No need to update me every 3 weeks.

130,000 cases daily is so yesterday, literally. Today it’s 163,402. 200,000 early next week? 1 million daily by January?

At this point this is in the realm of possibility.

And not so good here in Canada as well. Cases spiking everywhere.

I can see severe shutdowns in our immediate future.

We have big challenges. I hope that in the U.S., our new President will pose the crisis as a challenge akin to fighting World War II, requiring sacrifice and unity. Wearing masks, keeping gatherings limited and spaced, etc., are small sacrifices. We also need to address the economic hardships, particularly for those living at the margins economically and those whose livelihood depends on activities we need to curtail (domestic and service workers, those who work at and run restaurants, bars, gyms, barbershops/salons, etc.). And if in the U.S. we are going to leave the states to do much of the heavy lifting, we need to make sure they have the resources to do so at a time when much of their economies are slowed and revenues are scarce.

You sound like the voice of reason. But will there be a receptive audience. The NYT showed a map of the US today showing where masks are mandatory and it almost replicates which states elected Biden. The states in the middle of the country and the south have no requirements, all states that elected Trump (when I say elected I mean whose electors will vote for Trump in December).

That is part of the challenge. But it strikes me as important to engage those people and try to get them to think of what they are being asked to do/not do as a contribution to a great cause, rather than as an exercise in government attempting to control all aspects of their lives. Not everyone will be persuaded, but some will and every bit helps.

Jake Mitchell is working at both escorting and massage. I've had lots of fun with him for the last 15 years...he's a Dad who is very good at BFE with me.

Years ago Jake came across my radar. I thought he was a hot guy from one review I read on Daddy’s. Never crossed his path though. Glad you enjoyed him.
