Tipping OnlyFan Models

When you give an OnlyFan model a tip, either on one of their posts on through the message center, should you expect an acknowledgement? I realize a $1 here and there is really nothing and shouldn’t require a touch back. But, when you give a $20 tip through the message center, shouldn’t you expect some kind of acknowledgement? Is it asking too much?

Unfortunately, these boys have a lot to learn in the customer service/client relations department. I even drop contact with providers if they don’t dial up the flirt in communication. The OF business is aimed at separating you from your cash, so I wouldn’t be surprised if OF wanted you to pay for the acknowledgment.

I recently signed up with a young man I’d seen locally on Grindr, hoping to expand our conversation. $4.99/month, and I immediately turned off auto-renew, as I always do. First message from him “why did you turn off auto-renew?” LOL.

Got a handful of nice butt/torso pics from him. And a barrage fo $10 “private” video messages, I bought one, was nice...but I’m not getting drawn into that. Never thanked, and I’ve never tipped.

I totally agree with you. I should be common courtesy to acknowledge a fan. Specially after tipping. However I feel that most of OF guys live in a cloud where they think that they can get away with being rude just for having a hot body or a large number of followers.

Yes, I agree some if not most of those men are rude. I actually sent one a watch he wanted and was on his wish list. Nothing asked in return. I received confirmation he received it, and asked him if he received it. He just asked if it was the one I sent, and didn't even say thank you. Easy to unsubscribe. Just self-absorbed with no manners.

Aren't you guys paying for membership already, why feel you have to tip on top of that? If it was free like Chaterbate then I'd be inclined to tip but not when paying to support them. I don't know, it's just my way of thinking. I resent being milked for more money when I'm paying for something already unless it really merits it. And then there's the ingratitude on top of it!! So far I've resisted patronizing sites like Only Fans.

I'd only use onlyfans to schedule a meetup or free hook up in-person if that can actually happen. Seems like a waste to send tips with nothing in return, especially an acknowledgement.

What gets me is not knowing ahead of time certain vid content costs extra. I may be repeating what I’ve written before, but the companion or fronting Twitter teasers are often just as arousing and any one of any lengths of them repeats automatically.

 

I have done 3 OF one-month purchases and rarely even looked at them following an initial scan-through. Maybe one or two self-JO while viewing. In contrast, tend to get fixated on a few Twitter vids and JO ... wash, rinse, repeat. Often guys with OF options. To me, close enough, unlike a regular film preview.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I would EXPECT some kind of acknowledgement from the Only Fans guys I tip, but I do take grave offence at being singled out by them, giving likes to every single other person who compliments their photos except for mine when mine is in the middle of others - it's personal.

The viewer/subscriber can tip if they want. You're not required to, however, some content providers expect tips to interact with their viewers, others don't. I've commented several times how I've DM'd Griffin Barrows on a couple occasions and he has been very responsive and friendly without anything additional beyond my monthly subscription. That kind of behavior keeps my auto-renewal active. Well, that plus his hot content. But, I've also subscribed and un-subscribed within an hour to a couple sites when it was obvious the subscription price got you teasers and any other content was an upsell and interaction would require a tip. Nothing turns me off faster than being treated like an ATM.
