So I’d try terms like “helpful”, “open minded”, “respect mature”, etc. sometimes less is more? Be discreet and careful and avoid getting reported ?

Be careful with your profile to avoid getting reported. There are some who feel Grindr isn’t an appropriate platform for hiring and will report you. I do report underaged Profiles on Grindr....but otherwise it’s laissez-faire, live and let live.

I think @Ziya already got your point about being cautious!

I’ve had many profiles reported, but luckily seems like it’s becoming more lax thanks probably to changing social mores. Most of my conversations on Grindr lead to me politely indicating I’m prioritizing generous gentlemen which allows the other party to respectfully engage and inquire or respectfully disengage and be on their way... of course some become disrespectful and bent out of shape. It’s interesting, not to put too fine a point on it, that many men would rather the fantasy of having a shot they don’t really have than given a pragmatic and mutually respectful way of fulfilling an encounter that’s desired. I’ve found in Eurasia this is less the case, maybe the storied history of call girls and courtesans, but men there seem a lot more open to the discussion almost like it’s a positive indicator of their success, position, worldliness. But I digress and will continue my humble hustle! Not like my headline is “Rectum4Rent” or something lol ???

Grindr fatigue is among us.

Many frequent posters started hiring when they were young because they craved someone "out of their league".

Well I hope they keep craving because I have just the sweets to satisfy it ???

I've seen things on main pics, something like "son looking for daddy" or "looking for GENtlemen"

Not on their main pic, but in their profiles I've seen these in the last couple of days:

"Bitch better have my money!"

and on another profile:

"currently tight on money so if you have any jobs sexual or just weird lmk...any help would be greatly appreciated"

Depending upon the market that I’ve currently traveled to, I will occasionally cruise Grindr for potential new clients. In my experience it needs to be done very cautiously to prevent offending someone who can then immediately report you for soliciting = which can result in having your account terminated.

The only way I’ve found around this is to have the potential new client text my cell directly from their phone, then once they have, I go back to grindr & block the profile and only then do I present my services / $ situation.

The reason I block their profile is that I’ve taken conversations off grindr AND have STILL ended up with my account terminated by an offended individual who’s copied / pasted our offline correspondence and reported it to grindr.

I’ve had better luck finding clients via Scruff then with Grindr because they are more lenient in what’s allowed to be said your profile details.

I'm never sure whether that is a diamond indicating an escort, or a crystal indicating drugs.

I don't understand what half of the profiles are indicating, so don't feel bad!

I would only get pissed off on Grindr if someone without indication (in either mine or his profile) reached out to me and engaged me in conversation etc. and then after making me believe it would be a consensual hook-up started to ask for generosity. That is where I draw the line.

And I have had my account cancelled on Scruff for advertising I was Gen but not Grindr for doing the same. And it was a NYC guy that reported me.

Bumping this. It seems like Grindr is getting stricter - I've read people claim that "gen" and the usual emojis are off.

Right now, I'm just saying that I "prefer younger" men and "realize their time is valuable." Would like to be obvious without getting banned.

Is there any code that escorts and such use on Grindr to indicate they're for hire? I don't want to make the first move in case I get reported (or worse).

I always thought the term “networking” under looking for was an indication one may be available for hire.

I’m gonna add that to my profile now lol...

Yeah, I've been banned for advertising a service (not escorting/massage etc.) I can't even create a new account on my phone. Do I need to factory reset my phone to gain access again?

Just add a +1 at the end of your e-mail address. Any number or letter will do. For example, johndoeii+1 at gmail. or johndoeii+second at gmail. If your using gmail, just google "gmail plus sign". BOOM! Infiniate number of grindr logins. Banning is almost stupid.

If you uninstall the app and reinstall the app, it should let you create a new account. On Android, you can just clear the cache for that app.

I'll try the plus sign. Never heard if that before ?? It didn't work by just creating a new account with different emails though. I also tried uninstalling the app then reinstalling with a different email. Seems like they ban devices now. I use andriod btw.

I tried with a different email logged into the play store, but it didn't work.

Nothing worse then some douchebag you're talking to on Grindr and after a few messages back and forth they finally come out with the "you generous". Reported followed by block.

boy, that's for sure; one time, just because I was so frustrated, I texted back: "shoot me a rate sheet and a shot of your taint.." and as they're figuring out whether I'm serious or not, I block them.

Go to settings, Apps, Find Grindr and click on it, (depending on your version) click Storage, then Clear Data and Clear Cache (until both are greyed out). After that, Grindr shouldn't be able to recall your old login settings. If not, something else is wrong and you'll most probably need to reset your phone.

I've been regularly meeting up with a 24 year old for the past year after finding him on Grindr. He checks all my boxes and each session with him is stellar. I'm in the Boston area where the going rate for a quality escort is $300/hour, which is what I give him.

I have found the same where I live, except found him on Tinder instead of Grindr -- much more pleasant experience of saying what I was looking for without getting banned. He's also quite a bit younger than yours (but legal!), but otherwise is exact same - all boxes checked, he loves the idea of an older man (I'm 38), each meeting seems to be better than the last, and payment is same as you, although I find myself tipping him above $300 most every time, which is way more than I could probably get away with paying down here, but I like taking care of him :p. I honestly don't look for anyone else anymore, unless I'm traveling out of town and there's a pro that I've had my eye on. In 2020, that hasn't been happening

I'm probably going to have to reset my phone....
