I can guess which one of the currently listed providers in Cleveland is probably the one......has been (in)famous around the forum for years for dishonest profiles, frequent name-changes, and abusive/racist language......

I have NEVER understood this attitude from escorts. It goes right along with those who don't want clients who are overweight or older (like me 79). When posting something like this I think it would especially helpful if you would post the escorts name.

First welcome to the forum. This place is a great tool so use it as much as you can, especially for 411 checks on escorts before taking the plunge.

 

Sadly, even with escorting, you'll encounter these things. I've had a couple of incidents including one from a popular escorting couple where 1 of the partners pretty much expressed the same sentiment as your guy in Cleveland. Just got to move on, but yes it does happen and as someone mentioned earlier, the topic does pops up on here. Just beware of the Gym-lead peanut gallery on here that will preach you're wrong and it's more preference instead of race when in a lot of cases it's one masking the other.

 

Like @sync said it would be easier if escorts just put it right out on their profiles IMO.

This is why more service providers should just post their preferences/biases/and “isms”.This would save a lot of wasted time

It's heartbreaking to me that some of you guys have to face blatant racism while pursuing this hobby. Trying to set up an intimate connection with someone just to get a hard slap in the face in return. I'm sorry to hear about this.

I'm going to play "the good old days" card. I'm sure we can all agree that offering random, personal, intimate interaction is something that is not in the wheelhouse of every individual. In "the good old days" (1970's/1980's) most of the gentlemen who advertised were genuinely oriented for the business. They were ready/willing/able to accept all and have them feel welcomed and desirable. That ability does not seem so plentiful within the profession these days. Reading so many forum postings of misrepresentations, negative attitudes, mechanical/awkward touching, non-responses, rude rejections, no-shows, or financial scamming is disturbing and has me being thankful that my hiring events have become very few and far between.

Most escorts are smart enough to know what the optics of this would be if they went public with off-color beliefs. Not only would it harm their image, but would likely take a chunk out of their bottom line as well. A number of known guys have been talked about here who are ultra-conservative, weight/age/status discriminatory and/or won't see anyone but other white guys.

 

Yes, that's their prerogative, but my issue has always been HOW they've handled it.

 

There runs a gamut of gentle, professional ways to turn down a meeting that don't include making a potential client feel like shit. There's no excuse here to not use the kid gloves. Deep down, you can be a born asshole but still have the ability to appear like a normal human being.
