Cost-wise Barcelona and Columbia top Brazil because of the added room costs and entry fees and travel cost to Brazil. Many better Brazilians go to Barcelona. I think they're all closed now anyway.

Cost-wise my balls. Airbnb and hotels and food are cheaper in Brazil, sex for free is easier and better in Brazil, BRAZIL, BRAZIL, BRAZIL.

I can vouche for that. Barcelona is amazing as a city but from my experience being in Sao Paulo, Rio, Barcelona and Madrid, prices of everything in Spain, in general are a bit higher than in Brazil, not to talk about hiring rates. Brazil can still be as expensive as Europe if you go to upscale places (hotels, airbnbs, restaurants). Despite both countries having some of the hottest men on earth, I found that there is a more sexual culture in Brazil. Now Colombia is definitely cheaper than Brazil or Spain for both, cost of living and hiring rates, with many many men you would die for.

Plus I really want to see Iguazu Falls...

I love Brasil for its culture and its men. ...have managed to have traveled there 11X's from 2002 until 2011. ...like Buenos Aires and other parts of Argentina as well, but the cultures certainly have their variance.

A visit to Foz Iguazu is certainly a must, for all falls are varied. Have been to Victoria Falls and Foz Iguazu but not Niagara for lack of interest.

Once the pandemic has subsided or has completely ended-- I'd venture to South America (Argentina and Brasil) if I were you. I do hope to travel there again in 2021.

But in Brazil the sauna cover fee and the cubicle rental often exceed $40 diminishing the bargain rate of the guy. Especially if you're only having sex once a visit. For most Europeans and many in the US it's not worth the airfare. Plus the top Brazilians often go to the US and Europe. They're often half the guys at Thermas and Patagonya.

It's all closed now anyway.

I've had wonderful experiences in Montreal

Could you please flesh out (pun intended) on the delights of Montreal? I was there as an early 20’s lad in 1974 and was very impressed with the beauty of the city. What are the joys for the over 60’s?

If you only have paid sex and only in the saunas, perhaps you have a point. But you are missing what Brazil actually offers.

Montreal is very cosmopolitan with European sensibilities; it's easy to navigate the public transit system; for me, the architecture is wonderful; museums, concerts, and great people-watching; I've had only college French, and it's quite rusty, but if you try with greetings and thank you, people quickly sense that you are not a local and switch to English automatically; and the men! I find the French Canadian men very attractive--the accent, dark features, friendliness and world views appeal to me; I usually go to the bars once each trip just for the fun of it, but I'd much rather go get a massage or hire an escort. I hope that helps; I was planning to go in May, but have cancelled; I will re-schedule though when this pandemic is over!

I read either here on another thread or on another site about the joys of the go go bars and the eye candy dancers. Any experience of these bars?

The Bedroom?

I'm a 60 year old gay man. I am blessed to still have lots of sexual opportunities (which I never expected at this age.) What are some of the most fun places to travel for a vacation and have lots of good opportunities for sex. I have found Puerto Vallarta, Palm Springs, Key West, Delhi, and Hanoi to be great places to visit. I think this could be a helpful and interesting thread.

As I mentioned, I usually make one tour of Campus and Stock Bar each visit; most of the guys are usually just not my type, so my time there is usually limited; there are numerous threads here in the forum--try searching "Montreal" "Campus" "Stockbar" and I think you'll find a wealth of information!

I lived near Palm Springs for years an loved having so many opportunities to ply my trade and practice my skills. The adult resorts can be great fun. They need a couple of adult theatres those to complete the offerings. Who has the best adult theatres in North America?

Do those still exist?

Oh, you bet. In fact they keep expanding and upgrading. There are several nude sex resorts in the area, with two of the biggest being CCBC in Cathedral City and All World's in Palm Springs. Also, a couple of sexy bars with patios and a couple of active peep AVS.

So much of this is inaccurate and misleading.

The highest sauna entry fee in Brazil is 70 reais on a certain night. The most expensive suite rate (which happens to be at a different sauna) in Brazil is 55 reais per 30-40 minutes (the time for 1 sauna programa). Even if you combined the highest sauna price with the most expensive suite fee from two different Brazilian saunas, that’s only 125 reais — which, as of today, equals only $22.55 USD. That’s NOT $40 USD and not even close. Not even with New Math.

The only way to cross $40 USD is to add the separate costs of the programa / session that the client pays the garoto / sex worker individually — which would be about 100 reais and up ($18 USD). Or if you’re not adding in the costs for the garoto, then the math could only get to $40 USD with entrance + suite if you overstay your suite stay by an extra 90 minutes.

By comparison, at Sauna Thermas in Barcelona, the entry fee is 18 EUR and the most expensive room is 15 EUR a session, so that’s a total of 33 Euros for entry and suite. That’s $36 USD, $14 more than the highest cost in Brazil. Just entry to Thermas alone would be $19.65 USD— only $3 USD less than the costs of entry AND a suite at the most expensive sauna night in Brazil.

If you toss in the cost of a sauna session at Sauna Thermas in Barcelona, paid directly to the sex worker — about 50 euros or 55 USD — it’s STILL about twice as expensive as a sauna programa in Brazil, at 100 (minimum) to 150 reais (more common) — which is $18 to $27 USD.

As for the specious claim that “the top Brazilians often go to the US and Europe”, this also is untrue. Only a few are able to travel to Europe (usually on the dime of a paying client or club), and with current stricter immigration policies in the USA (especially for unemployed BrazilIan men in a certain age demographic), even fewer go to the USA. The overwhelming majority of Brazilian garotos do not travel to Europe or the USA, and that has very little to do with looks or build (no matter what that preference of look or build is). The truth is the number of Brazilian sauna garotos who both travel to either Europe or the USA AND who still work in the sex trade when they are there is very small — it tends to be the same ones. Just because you see some “top BrazilIans” at two saunas in Europe, that doesn’t mean that’s most of them in Brazil — a country of 210 million people!
