I would like some advice on my stage name

I am currently really attached to Scratchnsniff... I know it's really weird and funky... But so am I ... So I feel like it fits me really well. Plus it's hard to forget and the name it's self tends to attract the kind of kinky people I'm into...

 

 

Is it too weird or just right?

Do I need to be more generic for the masses and pick something more appealing (blaaaghhhhh) =P

If I do need to change it then I am going to need REALLY think about it cause every thing I have thought of makes me cringe except for Scratchnsniff

Considering you are really attached to "Scratchnsnifff" and feel it fits you really well, I believe you should give it a reasonable test-time period to evaluate the quantity and quality of responses.

I strongly agree with David1024's comment. I find it bizarre trying to reply to someone with a nom de plume that is not what I would call the person when talking to them. I understand adding an adjective such as "Johnnyjock" but at least you text "Johnny" and be able to start a conversation.

thank you!! i personally dont see the difference between having some silly name like willie stroker or ben dover but scratchnsniff seems to throw people off ... plus i am highly adhd and would forget that i was going by a stage name like harry or ben when my name is stephen ... i would have a slow response time to it but perhaps i would just have to get used to it... just hearing people call me something so alien and foreign to me is going to be a task

As someone who has changed my stage name on a couple of occasions before I got used to people calling me who I am now (unapologetically and without a necessity, but as a personal decision)...

 

Pick something that feels comfortable to you. Perhaps research the meaning behind whatever name you choose. Every name has a “meaning” originating from the Africans/Egyptians, Latins and Greeks. Whichever name you pick, find one that suits your personality and demeanor.
