Kollege, “colleague,” which carry with it connotation of “work friend”
Kommiltone, “classmate,” but at an institution of higher learning. Generally someone you actually interact with, not the person on the other side of the lecture hall.
Bekannte, “acquaintance,” but can be more like the friend of a friend too. If you go out to eat with a Freund and they bring along a Freund of theirs who isn’t your Freund but you’ve met before and chatted it up socially, that’s also just a Bekannte.

Whole heartedly agree with the above statement.  Not communicating is communicating - and inaction is in fact, taking action.  The worst thing you can do is to do nothing ( its such a British thing - for perfect example of this, though not directly related, see Bill Nighy's new movie, Living)
A very good friend of mine is German ( straight ) and I appreciate you sharing this with me. After some thought, I think I would qualify as his Freunde. He lives in Hamburg, and would fly to the UK where I live now to see me if the situation warranted.
It goes both ways ; He almost got arrested once ( for a very silly thing) when visiting the US, while I was there and had it happened, I would have posted bail, if he asked.  I guess this meets the 2am test.
Who can post bail for you from jail?
@Jaroslav Could you elaborate further on the differences between Kollege, Kommilitone, and Bekannte for us English speakers?
I know Freunde from the last movement of Beethoven's 9th Symphony - almost brotherly  for those of you that know your Classical music.

As I think back to some experiences. I think some of this is situation specific.
In one case a growing friendship made it harder for me to keep making bookings; the provider was more open about how he hated aspects of his work and it felt almost abusive to make him perform for my pleasure (even though he benefited from payment).
In another case I felt obligated to book more regularly than i would have for my new friend, particularly since he was struggling financially. But the sessions became increasingly stressful for both of us as neither of us were our normal social selves during them, so it felt inauthentic with a friend. Our last few bookings had me essentially giving him fees like a gift with no provider work, until he himself told me to stop.

I prefer the German hesitancy to label people Freund. They stick with Kollege, Kommilitone, or Bekannte. Freunde are those who are especially close, maybe even physically so. I’d say escorts are Bekannte in most instances.
Nonetheless, Bekannte can be friendly (freundlich) and it’s rude, in my opinion, to ghost even as a Bekannte. The whole ghosting phenomenon in our world today is really a lack of respect and failure to appreciate someone else’s dignity.
Would it *really* kill someone to say “I’m done” – even if said rudely? I suppose if you don’t give a fuck, it doesn’t matter.

Agree on all the above. In some cases the provider might actually like you enough to throw in off the clock hours and others favors from my personal experience.  I found the whole concept off of the clock confusing, i posted here to ask the group if I was handling it fairly  In the end I think I handled it well, thanks to the collective wisdom of the group.
Just ask - but I realize for some, asking is awkward, so I empathize with the dilemma.  In the end do what you feel comfortable, but lean in on the collective wisdom of those that replied.

Im new here but I can comment o  some of the escorts I met. Nowadays, most in rentmen charge £200-250.  I am a bottom. So heres a review of some I met.
https://rentmen.eu/AdrianLoganXXX This guy is actually really nice. Hope had more stamina but still satisfying.
https://rentmen.eu/JSevilla -easy to talk friendly. Both the massage and the sex was amazing
https://rentmen.eu/danielvelascos he may not be that tall but he's great in bed. add with massage so more fun
https://rentmen.eu/Brian_London -good looking and I had fun too
https://www.sleepyboy.com/uk/london/escort/HotBod4You - Good looking, super tall hamdsome and the cock on this guy- just wow. Prepare yourself.
    Escorts I hated/didn't like
https://rentmen.eu/Kaikian/#platinum -really tall and hot in person but damn lazy. does not speak english.
https://rentmen.eu/JacobLDN/#platinum very mechanical like he acts like your a job.
https://rentmen.eu/Douglas_London/#platinum- only does massage and handjobs you can blow him for an extra
James Carson and Erick Lobo- these two are scammers. James would not show up. While this guy Erick says he does sex but he just made blow him. Too scared to complain since he's a big guy.

350 is my limit.  And it needs to be special. Anything more I can hire elsewhere.
One of my favorites is 400 for an overnight, but it requires a fairly reasonable flight to Central America.
For reference, London is still very much £200 / $250 USD.  Providers in New York need to realize you are competing in the international market, Montreal is not that far away.
New York is not a small town with no options.

The last time I was in London a few weeks back , I stopped by twice over the span of a week.  There were a few twinky brazillains, one built guy, a mix . I personally like both dark and pasty white , there was a lovely Irish guy I very much enjoyed . Hes not the best looking dude in the line up but sometimes you find a diamond in the rough. He was a nice to spend an hour with. I also met up with a twinky Brazilian .  I topped both times .
I personally think the most fun aspect is just showing up and seeing who is there , there is fun in the unexpected. Pre booking takes away from that joy ( my personal opinion) Edmar mentioned that he is going to extend the operating hours this month.
It’s such a delight when you find a hit.

Alex93108 got a reaction from + keroscenefire in Off the clock time. How best to handle?
    So an update
What he essentially gave me was an overnight plus almost two days. Lots of off the clock time. I just went with the flow .  He spent the day at my hotel hanging out at the pool . Before dinner we even went to the local mall, and did a bit of shopping, but I wasn't pressured into buying him anything. It was all quite lovely and nothing bad happened. At the end of the day it boils down to chemistry and trust. There was lot of that.
I haven't had that many overnights but what truly makes a great overnight is having a provider who can fill in the gaps, keep up the pace and essentially keep me the client entertained and delighted throughout. I was tired the first night, which he respected, but when morning came he made sure that I wasn't bored.  I am by nature a very accommodating/compromising  person, and I was interested in what he wanted to do as well, which was odd, because he was very much focused on my needs, what made me happy, what I wanted to, even during the off the clock hours. I wanted this to be something he enjoyed as well, even though it was about me, I wanted him to enjoy himself.  I think he appreciated that.
For me, a mark of a good relationship / connection, it the ability to hang out with someone with gaps in the conversation/ long moments of comfortable silence. There was lots of that.  At breakfast, after  a long period of silence, he asked me what I was thinking. I said to him. "I must be incredibly lucky to be here with you - at this very moment".   His smile back could melt anyones heart.
I made a promise to see him again soon. It was incredibly gratifying and healing to have this gorgeous, handsome and cute Latino boy spend two days with me, plus and overnight.

    Anyone know a new arrival?
I'm genuinely surprised how so many can enter Britain so easily and get past the Border Force, and stay in Britain for 6 months "working", but good for them.   Border force can sometimes give me, a genuine frequent visitor a hard time, when the e-gates don't work.

    Sidenote:
I remember a lot of things, and I distinctly remember boarding the plane back feeling disappointed over my appointment with Enrick as I left London. The universe works in strange ways sometimes.  My flight back to New York was delayed by just over 3 hours, due to non weather reason, which qualified me for delay compensation ( since it was long haul) of £300. Normally I have to chase BA for this, but they elected to deposit the funds into my account without much of a fight.  So there - £300 I wasn't expecting, fell from the sky - presumably to pay me back, not whole, but most.
A wrong was righted in the end.  Funny how that all works out.

Speaking of Enrik, I had him come see me last year in London.  I wasn’t physically attracted to him but I was intrigued nonetheless by a glowing recommendation I received, and booked him.  Normally I much prefer equal or a bigger , more muscular guy than me to be a top.  It’s much more fun that way, to me, unless there is some kind of connection to compensate for this.
I found him to be energetic and fun but what annoyed me the most, was that he arrived late and left early – about 45 minutes into 2 hour session, at outcall London rates. He also tried to upsell me during the session for extra services.  I declined.
I was surprised because most Brazilians working guys I have had the pleasure of meeting with locally in Brazil  are consummate professionals , with a good work ethic , skilled at their craft and proud of the work they do ( most of the time )
Enrik was my first Brazilian hire outside of Brazil.   The actual session wasn’t bad at all - it was just short of what we agreed ( time wise)  and not what was I expecting.  It was a little disappointing but sometimes you get a hit, sometimes you get a miss. That's the nature of this hobby.
I did like him personally . A charming boy from Minas.   We had a nice chat before and during the session ;  I have been to the town there his from and I suspect he has a type, and I wasn’t it.   I spoke to him in my broken Portuguese too ( which surprised him) and we had a nice bonding chat about his life in Britain as well, but I suspect, he’s better at bottoming and it helps if you’re his type also.
In hindsight I should have booked him to bottom  ( and watched the clock ) The real professionals ( in Brazil) don’t care who the client is and provide consistent service, and are grateful for your company. He is human though, we all are, so let’s not judge him too harshly.
Suffice to say, your experience may vary.

Alex93108 reacted to HoseMaster in Overnighters... What do you do?
Over my seventeen-plus years of hiring, I would say that 25-33% of my hires have been overnights, weekends (2 consecutive nights), or mini-vacations.  I sometimes I don’t like to just “get off” and go, but like the intimacy and getting to know someone more an overnight gives.  I have hired some of them for overnights or weekends without doing an hourly first, only because they peaked my interest and live far away from where I live, and I have to fly them out (and it wouldn’t be worth either of our times to fly them out for an hour or two).  Someone that I invite on a mini-vacation is someone I’ve done numerous overnights with, so that I know we click.
When I first started hiring, I got a feel of what I now consider a standard overnight is:
    • Showing up early enough for a dinner to meet and greet.  This is usually around 7 pm
    • A minimum time period of 10-12 hours.  This gives time for a dinner the night before, and non-rushed morning sex.
    • After dinner, going back to the bedroom for fun
    • Cuddling for a bit, then sleep on separate sides of the bed, as I can’t have anyone cuddling me all night
    • Sleep for at least 6 hours, undisturbed
    • Wake up to cuddling, spooning, and morning sex (but not too early)
    • Optional breakfast
    * If weekend session, go explore the area during the day and do fun things with lunch we both agree on.  Have dinner, and repeat above steps over again.

Most of my hires have went well, but something that would probably cause me not to repeat with them:
    • No intimacy or kissing
    • Asking to sleep in a separate bed while they sleep (hasn’t happened to me yet, but I have seen some requirements by done escorts on here).  If I hire you, I want you to sleep with me like a boyfriend experience, and wake up to you cuddling and progressing to sex.  If you sleep in separate beds, I may as well hire you for an hour at night, and once again in the morning.
    • Putting clothes on to sleep with me.  I like to sleep naked with my “partner”, and I’ve had at least one or two insist they don’t sleep naked.  This ruins the moment for me, and I just move on, as most escorts have no problem sleeping naked with me.
    • Not having sex at least once in the evening, and again in the morning.  I had at least one guy said he doesn’t do morning sex (why did you even stay all night then?)
    • Thinking an overnight is 6 hours, or only part of the night.  Overnights to me have always been a minimum of 10-12 hours.  I had one escort say I had to buy him a room at a hotel for the overnight, as he needed to go there after the overnight.  I told him, “This is an overnight.  You stay with me until morning.”  He said his overnights are only 6 hours.  I politely turned him down.  I’ve seen to notice this aspect on escorts originally from anywhere south of the US border, and not sure if this is more prevalent in South America or what.
    • Asking for all of their money up front, especially if I’ve flown them out to me and paid their round-trip ticket.
    • A-la-Carte pricing during an overnight.  If I hire you for an overnight, you should know what is expected.
    • Can’t get hard when they advertise as a top.

Try to look at it from the providers perspective . Lots of people hire escorts , you wouldn’t want to kiss all of them .
I try to establish a comfort level by doing the following
    - Depending on the messenger app you are you using , you could broadcast a profile pic , so he can see what you look like . For me the result is usually this :
He turned out to be delightful 😊
    - I recently met an escort in London that insisted on having a 5 - 10 minute pre meet discussion in a public space before the start of the appointment.  I said ok - fair enough
He was able to check me out from a distance and realized that i wasn’t weird , i’m fact he later remarked later that I looked very much like his ex boyfriend whom he was still in love with . Needless to say , it was passionate evening I very much enjoyed . In fact we kissed almost continuously for probably 15 minutes or more
No kissing doesn’t necessarily mean no kissing, you should try to earn the privilege .
However I realize people hire to avoid all this drama and not to have to deal with complications/ conflict  , so if it’s important hire someone else . Plenty out there if you live in a major city , worldwide

As someone who rotates between London and New York quite regularly  over the past year ( though my travel patterns is slowing down now) , I noticed the following in 2022
    - Boys in New York cost more ( naturally). Rates have in fact fallen slightly.
    - Rates in London have largely held, much to my surprise, despite the cost of living crisis
    - There is a premium charge to host in New York. ( which is the opposite of what it is in London. People come from outside of London, and expect someone to host )
    - Almost no one in New York or the US uses whatapp to set up appointments  ever, which is almost mandatory in the UK. The guys in the US will use a messenger app instead.  Boys in the UK will often have two phones.
    - TOO MANY BRAZILLAINS IN LONDON. Which has its plusses and minuses.  Frankly I prefer hiring Brazillians in Brazil, but this isn't entirely a rule.
    - Foreigners ( largely Americans ) routinely get charged more in London, but since I am practically pseudo local at this point, I have largely avoided this.
    - New York has nice healthy mix still of different flavors / talent.

Since I travel a lot of I have something to say - its quite simple. It boils down to basic economics
Americans ( in general ) , especially those in New York / Los Angeles  / San Francisco  earn more money than Europeans, and take home more.  It's that simple, and thus are willing to pay more. We are also taxed less.  Coupled with demand and supply, rates are lower in most of Europe, London and Paris included, compared to what is asked in New York / Los Angeles/ San Francisco / Miami.
Its even lower in Spain, where supply is much more abundant, far greater than demand. Lowest rates in Europe I think in Spain.
I always believe the most simple explanation is the best one. Basic economics.

It somewhat baffles me and and amazes me at the same time that I can ( at most US points of entry) just walk into the United States  with  just my face, at the machine.  Walk up to the machine, have the machine take my photo, walk though ( assuming the words "See officer" doesn't appear) .  Pre-covid, the machines would spit out a receipt that doesn't even happen anymore. No passport needed. Takes 1 minute, maybe 2 at most, almost no wait, Walk though.
This is a privilege I don't take for granted.  Most foreigners have to wait in line etc. Sometimes up to an hour.
At Heathrow specifically where I frequent  you do need to put your passport down on scanner, and depending on the terminal , the machines sometimes don't work - Terminal 3 ( which is used by Delta and Virgin) have the lower quality machines which tend to break down.  The machines take your photo. It's the same everywhere, in Dubai, Korea, Hong Kong , etc.  Brazil still has a photo from 13+ years ago when I first entered, it shows up on the screen ( this usually involves a chat with the officer about how I aged a little).
This is basically a fait accompli - the horse left the barn on this one.  It's 2022 - my photo is everywhere I have been, both old and new. Nothing I can do about it.  Everyone does this now.
They key is : Understand the rules and follow them. ( and you should be fine)
