Trying to hire right now; I’m a top fwiw … and in the last 24 hours (it’s Jan 2023) — I’ve been told 500 (which I immediately rejected), 450, and 3 others who said their rate is 400. am I just picking super expensive guys or is 400 the new “normal” rate? I know better looking guys (more fitness model types) can fetch a higher rate … but I’m still having some sticker shock! Trying to figure out what’s to be expected. thoughts? Comments? Observations? But I’m getting $350/hour more often than not, starting last fall. I've had two great guys in the past 6 months who've quoted 250. If they can do it and they are based in expensive cities, I don't see why most can't. I think some just throw something out there and hope it sticks. Me personally, I am not gonna negotiate. Just say, thanks for taking the time to respond and move on. For a sensual massage from a top-rated provider I get quoted 180-250 but if the massage is good and the playtime exceptional, I pay 300 anyway because I feel they gave me an escort-like service. I will say that I see one escort and 3 masseurs regularly. They all seem happy with their compensation. I have no problem getting repeat appointments with them. Rates for those masseurs run mostly from $160-$200, nowadays mostly at the higher end ($180-200), especially if very good looking. There are some who ask more than that, but my impression (have never hired about $200) is that those are more in the body rub + escort-services-of-some-sort genre or else claim to be tantric. As for escorts, most seem to be at $300, a very few still at $250, and more and more some are asking $350 and even above up to $500. Have never hired above $300. One of my favorites is 400 for an overnight, but it requires a fairly reasonable flight to Central America. For reference, London is still very much £200 / $250 USD. Providers in New York need to realize you are competing in the international market, Montreal is not that far away. New York is not a small town with no options. No regulation, no price manipulation, no nothing. Don't like a provider's rates? Offer something else. They can accept or pass. Providers who price too high don't get business if they are pricing themselves too high. If they're asking $500/hour then it must be working... for them.
