I’m happy to share my perspective of working in the industry. Generally people on here interact with respect and often with great insight. I like to hear what others think and how they work. I also like to understand clients perspectives. It’s great that these things can help me provide a better service or work more effectively. 

I guess there is a risk that some clients might not like my view or opinion on things but so be it. This is me… and I’d not want them to book a session if they’re expecting a different person. If they like how I come over here then I’d hope they like how I am in person because it’s no different. If they don’t like me here then best not to book!

They are different people, both obviously handsome. I’ve been with one and communicated with the other.

As a client, I actually appreciate the providers who DO decide to participate in discussions. I’ve been able to keep in touch with some escorts who retired, which is very satisfying when they leave the business with little or no warning!
 I can also think of at least two of my regular well-reviewed providers (one retired, one in limbo at the moment due to Omicron) who were ecstatic upon finding this site but got “burnt out” after 6 months to a year of participation here and quit posting. One now posts only sporadically, the other not at all!

I never used to bother with the flu vaccine but I did get it last year because of the pandemic…why risk it when the hospital might be full? So I got vaccinated and had the Covid vaccinations too. It’s inevitable I’ll catch Covid eventually I guess but I don’t want to end up taking up a hospital bed. Those medical people could do without me in their way, I’d be irritable in hospital. 
However since I started massage/sex work I noticed I don’t get so many colds and coughs etc. it’s extremely rare to be sick. My health has been great. I think the regular close exposure to lots of different people boosts my immune system.
Or is it a side effect of Prep? Or from just being less stressed because I’m not working full time in an office job where I have to metaphorically kiss ass all day rather than literally kissing ass for pleasure as I do now 🙂 . Who knows? All I do know is that sex work is good for my mental and physical health. 

POC colleagues tell me its best to avoid prejudice-revealing topics with clients because its not worth the stress of trying to reason with them or worth losing future work over something that obviously didn't prevent them from being hired in the 1st place.  And if their is anything that can help a man become more accepting, its accepting cock 😆
It's not as easy for me to avoid these topics with clients - not only because I'm an opinionated know-it-all with a big mouth, but because of how my race presents a different situation than that of my POC colleagues.

White folk often assume other white folk want to hear about and will agree with their somehow unprejudiced grievances with POC or "liberal" politics - they also do it because they want to argue about it and can't (or won't) do that with POC. In the past few years clients have been much more likely to do this unsolicited. When offended by these beliefs, it kills my sex drive. At that point, I'm willing to lose further work with a client for the opportunity of changing their mind.

The way I see, if white men were to just let each other think and behave however they want...look where that has gotten us. More appropriately, look where that has gotten people unlike "us".

I grew up in Chicago and visited Milwaukee at least once per month. You're right about it retaining its European feel. A college friend who grew up in Chicago and landed a job in one of the North Shore suburbs moved to Milwaukee because the cost of living was much lower than Chicago's and his commute was about the same as it would have been from Chicago to his job.

The takeaway is that no matter what you do, time marches forward and we cannot live in our past.  It's unhealthy.  Progress or die clinging onto a life that no longer exists. 
As Curious said above me, you can always appreciate what came before, but you can't let reverence turn into gridlock.
A lot of what the OP mentioned is the disappearance of the gay bubble and all the trimmings that came with it.  Ultimately, longterm, the community wanted more and got it.  I think I'd much prefer the legal protections we now have as opposed to more gay bars, mecca cities and adult bookstores.

I am but, that’s not to say my Clients formulate a clear understanding of who I am in their mind~ When the focus is on their comfort and needs, there is less room/time/consideration to explore who I am~ So, they aren’t always looking, (or care to see), who I am despite being open about it~ Those who take the time and care to explore who I am see me differently then those who only take the time to have me provide for them~ 
 On the other hand… I have lots of long time Clients and we’ve grown together over the years, share life changes etc.~ I thrive/relish/invest myself fully in the mutual experience long term~ 
 Some people only want to know who I am when I’m with them~ They don’t want to know anything about my life escorting outside of my experience with them~ They miss a big slice of who I am as a human being~ 
 Others don’t like to be open about their experiences hiring or playing with others~ These self and mutual honesties vary even in non hire relationships~ For example: I’ve been at  social events in the past where there is a couple claiming exclusivity to each other but, in reality they have both hired me without disclosing that to each other~ Do they know each other outside of their own assumed relationship~?
