I prefer after... but I’ve had several clients snub me and try leaving without paying.

I love traveling, i love seeing new places and it’s just all around a fun experience. That being said, as someone already stated it’s nice to be “fresh meat” in a new city. I’ve often planned trips around events that I was going to or places I’ve wanted to visit that I’ve never been to before. I’ve also traveled to specifically see clients in other cities. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn’t and people ghost and don’t say a word. Then you loose and you win some after.

IF you have Covid, but have NO symptoms, your results are 60% likely to return NEGATIVE. Yes, it's a false negative but unfortunately, the technology we have is not as good as we need in finding truly infected people who have no symptoms. The Covid testing technology we have is best at testing someone with symptoms.

 

Therefore, the use of testing to give you the feeling of security is likely actually giving you a false security. That's how it's making your interactions more dangerous.

 

 

Yah, that makes sense. If one has to show a recent neg test to board a plane or train, then you gotta do what you gotta do.

 

So be aware that not only could your clients be inadvertently giving YOU Covid, you very possibly could be giving it to THEM.

Testing makes me feel safe.. sorry to say. I always compare getting tested for Covid to getting tested for STDS. You don’t get tested for STDS because you think you have symptoms, you get tested because you wanna make sure you don’t have STDs. Covid is transited by contact with someone who has it, being that I am with clients and I don’t know if they’ve been tested or if they have it. I get tested just to make sure I have it, and I feel responsible doing very so that. There’s people who don’t get tested at all cause they don’t have symptoms and they’re usually the ones who end up having Covid. The CDC has also said more people should get tested so they know sooner that you don’t spread it. I also travel a lot and it’s required in some states. Science is Science and until I get vaccinated this is what I’m doing. My DR has also applauded me for getting tested so often. It works for me that’s all that matter, if you don’t leave your home then it shouldn’t be an issue, I do though. Cheers ?

May I ask, and I'm not challenging you or trying to be disrespectful, but what is the clinical goal of being tested for Covid every other week? I ask with these thots in mind:

1) People who have no symptoms of Covid, yet are infected have a 60% or greater chance in producing a false negative test.

2) What would you do differently, if anything, if it returns poz?

Because you can have covid without knowing it, and being that I’m meet different people all the time it’s good to be safe. So meeting strangers I take the risk every time, i could ly down with someone who has covid and no symptoms and still be passed on. Also when traveling a lot of places now either require you to quarantine or have a neg test result.
