  1. In my experience, I have not seen much variation in price based on race or color. I have seen variation in price based on age, and maybe fitness level. Ive seen older men charge a little less, and Ive seen older men who aren’t as fit charge less.
Guys with model/actor looks are going to charge about the same black or white. Guys with average looks charge about the same black or white.

    1) I consider “All American” to be White or Black. To me at has to be a boy next door look. Wholesome looking, clean cut, boyish looking, which is not limited to white guys. Ive had many Black guys fit that bill.

    2) @storm4u and others mentioned being successful in many different markets and they are Black. Maybe the challenges you are having, have to do with the city you’re in, your marketing, you, or your luck.

I agree with everything you said @Coconut

I don't mean to be indelicate,I identify as Black, not a person of color  and I do not know what everyday activities are more uniquely hazardous today for Black people specifically (I cant speak on any other demographics).  I know there is a narrative out there but it isn’t supported by statistics. Regardless, as a masseur, you have to take precaution no matter what, regardless of your color. Bad things happen to providers and masseurs all the time, from the mundane, to sexual assault, and even murder. Stephen Port, a white man   murdered  at least 4 gay white escorts between to 2014 and 2015, and his victims being caucasian did not protect them from getting murdered. And that's just one example of countless of these things happening that are underreported, frankly. So, I never  suggested  anyone should not be cautious. Everyone has to be, because bad things can happen to all of us, but there is absolutely nothing to support the idea that a Black escort would be exposed to anymore danger than a white one.

Im speaking from my own experience that I have not had  problems with racism when 'Ive traveled. I still have to fly out of  state for some overnight clients, and I will continue to  do that, and I’m not going to employ a “unique” or special caution specifically for racism, as if the prospect of racism is worse than any of the many other bad things that could happen to a massuer. Im judicious and cautions, but I don't live in fear or make decisions rooted in it. The minute you do, is the minute you give your power away. Hell,  If I let the concern for racism deter me,  I would probably never leave the house, since you  could encounter that at your local grocery store. If I’m asked to travel somewhere and it makes sense business wise and I want to go, then I go. Rest assured, I am more than prepared for anyone who would be trouble for me regardless of the motives and I would encourage others to take their own precautions and use discernment  as they ALL should with ANY client.

Best comment I’ve read on this forum. Thank you for sharing this!👏🏻

  4. A couple of people have messaged me privately to ask how the trip went, so I’m updating this here. It was absolutely marvelous! We spent a week in Hawaii, had an amazing time and the masseur who accompanied me is wonderful!!!! So much so that I plan to do it with him again as soon as my schedule permits, and he said he’d love to Join me again.  I’m so glad I did it!!!

  5. Boseman was a phenomenal talent and humanitarian, BUT just because his story had a tragic ending does not IMO mean he should have won. Was HIS the BEST performance ? That is the criteria for the win. Based on results, apparently Not.

I am also NOT a fan of Francis McDormand. Just because she shows up in a movie, and is considered a SERIOUS artist who is all about the work, should noe automatically garner her a win. I have seen a few of her performances and for me they are all interchangeable. She is often sullen, dour and just odd. But beware all actresses that are nominated in a McDormand year..... You WONT win. Somehow, she has a lock on the statue.

I watch for the FASHS'HON.......which was fine this year coming out of a pandemic..... Everyone did it up BIG, and the men turned it out in less traditional, more stylized evening wear.... I am a fan of that.... But i am on the fence about the format. I found myself dozing off at times, and the "allowed" speeches were just way to long and self indulgent. I kind of enjoyed the virtual, fast paced format last year.

My vote would’ve been for Chadwick Boseman. Everyone knows the best performer doesn’t always win those things though. Unfortunately. Also award shows are lame because art is so subjective

  6. I assume you’ve already spent some considerable social time and enjoyed meals together @Rocca ?

If not, I’d urge you to do so. A week together on a lovely island is not the time and place to discover that you and your companion don’t share some interests and that congenial conversation is not easy at mealtimes.

Yes, I’ve gotten to know him socially.

  7. Your offer is generous and he's lucky to know you. If he goes, he loses a week of income and runs the risk of travel. HI has strict entry rules and he may face costs associated with it. You don't mention if there is a financial arrangement. I agree with @Oaktown about boundaries. I suggest you move slowly and not damage what sounds like a nice arrangement.

I will be compensating him for every day that he’s there to make it worth while.

  8. There is a masseur that i am totally smitten with. I would like to take him with me to Maui for a week and I want to hire him to give me a massage everyday we’re there. I adore this guy and his massage is magnifique! He doesn’t advertise as an escort but there is a great HE with the massage, so I’m not sure if he’d be open to this, and I dont want to offendj. I will be compensating him for every day that he’s with me. Has anyone ever done this?

  9. I like a sophisticated ad - something that says “classy and sexy”. An ideal ad for me would be a fully clothed shot of a preppy handsome Black guy that shows he looks good in public. For overnights or extended hires I like to take them out for dinner, so I would introduce him as my God son, nephew or mentee if we ran into anyone I know and it would be plausible.

I also would like a hot shot of his body without clothes on. I’d like to see his cock. I need to see that it’s a mouthful. I like to see the veins and girth. The ad doesn’t have to show his full face but it should show enough of it to suggest what he looks like. If he has a full face shot that he can send separately, then that’s fine too. Lastly, the wording of his ad should suggest that he is intelligent, playful, and has a sense of humor.

So basically, my ideal ad will feature a hung handsome Black guy who looks like he stepped out of a Ralph Lauren ad...but with some nudity thrown in ??
