LOL It didn't surprise me either that he didn't know Sonny. He barely knew who Cher is. My masseur is Cuban-American and has only been in the US for about 16 years. But I'd bet most Americans under 40 wouldn't know who Sonny was. I wonder how much of Cher's success can be attributed to Sonny. Absolutely correct.  Since I had no interest, I shouldn't have even responded in the first place.   It was a moment of curiosity - "Why would this guy be wanting to hook up with me?"

I kind of always assume that anyone on a hook-up site is there to hook up, not to hire/be hired. To me, the clarification should be more on the sex worker's end instead of the client's end especially if he is the one who initiates the conversation. Like if he DMs you on grindr, he should be pretty forthright that he is doing so as a sex worker not just to hook up.

As they say often in real estate, its "location, location, location."  I have given my thoughts on this before, but here I go again...  
In a city that is over a large geographical area, its very helpful to know at least the "general" area of the city an escort is in.  Some areas are either not desirable or just to far to drive at any given time/day or due to distance involved. 
I never ask for a specific address unless an appointment has been made.  Then,  of course,  how else would you get there.   Whether is in downtown, midtown, or a suburb can be very helpful in determining whether to be interested and that's not too much to ask to be included in a providers information.  Some escorts do this.  

I'm thankful when escorts won't answer a few questions.  It keeps me from wasting my time by hiring the wrong guy.
I often wonder how many "time wasters" aren't time wasters at all.  A little patience goes a long way; it's difficult hiring an escort.  We want to get screwed, but not in the wrong way.
