  1. But anyone who would be “angry” to have not gotten an appointment despite having “followed the rules” has an entitlement issue. No escort is required to meet you. No matter how many rules you followed. Getting angry because someone was too busy to book an appointment with you is pointless.

You’re assuming the OP is angry because he didn’t get an appointment, rather than he’s angry because the escort didn’t show the common courtesy of replying.

  2. This one today, though, surprised me as I made initial contact to give a compliment to another escort and maybe some encouragement. His response was to ask if we wanted to book him. When I answered “no, just giving a compliment to another pro”, his response was “I just threw up in my mouth a little, but thanks for a compliment.”

Based on his response, do you think your compliment was justified? Do you still consider him a "pro"?

  3. My godson, who was an "in demand" escort some years ago, is now forty-something and supports himself as a delivery man in a florist shop; though a distant memory, that he once cleared $50,000 and was made a gift of an expensive sports car in one winter season at Ft. Lauderdale is his often recounted claim to fame in life.

Was this possibly Alfredo, a young Cuban guy that danced at the Boardwalk?

  4. There have been occasions in which I would have liked to take a few photos of an exceptionally hot escort during our session.

As an escort, how would you respond to a client that asked to take some photographs of your body (with or without head shots) during the booking time? Would this be offensive, not a problem, require an up-charge or better just not brought up at all?

Clients: have any of you done this or am I alone in thinking that this would be desirable on certain occasions ?

I can only speak from my own experience. I’ve never been turned down when I’ve asked to take pics. Two escorts asked me to take pics for their ads. It never hurts to ask.

  5. No, he didn't say the 25$ was to disclose rate. The 25$ prepayment was to set an appointment. The text I sent just prior to that was me asking his rate and location which I felt he chose not answer and sent the request for prepayment instead. Regardless, I felt a payment would have to be made for more information.

I guess I could've pushed further about his rate before making the prepayment but I've never heard of such a thing and just decided I was no longer interested and said no thank you.

The title of this thread, "requesting deposit b4 quoting rate", and your original post (below) are misleading.

"So I'm trying to set up an appointment and I get a reply requesting a 25$ deposit before he'll quote a rate. Is this something that's being done now? I politely said no thank you."

  6. Actor Eric Hanson must be forty years old by now, are you sure this is he? He was always a fave, but I've got porno mags from the Ninety's with his photos.

He’s 49. If the COASTGUARDJOCK ad is Eric Hanson’s as @lasagnac claims, then he’s not only using fake pics, but he’s shaving 21 years off his age.
