I had a job interview to be the director of a nursing facility.  That day, I had an early morning veterinarian appointment for my three dogs.  The vet ran late and the visit took longer than expected so I called the facility to see about pushing the appointment back or changing it to another day.  They said that if I could get there on time with the dogs, that they would let the dogs come into the interview.

I sat at a long conference table and all three dogs laid down around my chair under the table.  The interview went on and they were perfect gentle dogs.  As I went to leave, each of the dogs sought out residents, who greeted them as though they were long lost friends.  The dogs loved the attention, and I spent quite a bit of time having the dogs visit.  They were not certified therapy dogs so I could not make this a regular practice, but the dogs took to the residents immediately and the residents took to the dogs lovingly.

BTW, I did not get the job.   But subsequently, I was the director of a PACE facility for elderly and physically challenged adults.  I would bring my yellow lab Bonehead into the office on occasion, and he took to the role of canine ambassador immediately.

Dogs, children and the elderly,  a triad of love for the most part.

Bones and Brandy and Bear and the rest of the crew~ All great kids~

  2. Random puppies I saw in Coos Bay. (So much love~!!!) I call them Mutt and Jarf~
Black lab Pitt puppy (she is adorable)
Her older step brother (the brown Dogo)
Nanook my grey wolf companion of 22yrs.
Nanook with Raison the Greek kitty…
#9 is the coyote puppy that I made friends with when first moving into my current home. She hangs in the yard with me when I landscape at night and sits within 5 feet of me. She comes and goes as she pleases~  Last year she had her first litter of pups and she brought them into the yard to show me but, they would not come out  of the bushes all the way~   No worries… Perhaps better they don’t trust people~ Very sweet all five of them~ She is now 7yrs old~
Picture number 12 is Nanook the wolf at age 22yrs~
     He’s a little old man there~🥰He’s so beautiful~
Was a happy boy always and had such a strong sense of life~
He died a natural death, in my arms. Old age and no euthanasia. He sat up, called for me. I moved next to him, (we were sleeping on the floor together always by that time), told him I was there and love him with all of my heart… He died within a few minutes.
I drew in his last breath and held it in as long as I could… bathed him that night and slept next to him until morning~  Took him to Dignified Pet in Tualatin, Oregon~ It’s part of Sunset Finley where I had my mom cremated~
Was a bit protective and didn’t want others handling Nanook~  The staff were compassionate towards my concerns.
I put him into the Kiln myself and closed the door, waited the five hours until he was done and carefully removed his bones from the oven~ They are predominately intact~ He is with my mom’s ashes, brothers ashes, Raison that Greek kitties ashes in a special area of my house.
Nanook is the deepest bond to anything/anyone I’ve had in my entire life~ Part of me always and my greatest joy~
Since my fur kids all live well into their twenties, I will not be having anymore but, I love on others fur kids whenever possible~

  3. Met this man on Sauvies island years and years ago after having moved from Madison, Wisconsin to Portland, Oregon~

     14 July 1997

It was nearing dusk… I’d been out there naked on the beach since 4:00am when the island opens to the public~
I used to build sculptures out of drift wood there and had built a north, south, east and west gate along with timbery creatures  reminiscent of deer and bear~
On this one particular evening after building, I saw this man silhouette near the west gate: my height: 5’11”, long legs, a light tan… smiling green eyes~ Completely genuine in spirit, (if not altogether innocent), our glances met and we flirted between shrubbery eventually meeting by a bush along the shoreline of the Colombia~  Arms length from each other I could feel the warmth radiating from his Sun bathed skin, the gentle glistening of salt from his sweat clung to the hair under his arm… I could taste his male scent in the air… It made my nipples hard when I inhaled~
We stood in place looking at each other… A quiet and gentle assessment thru some unspoken instinctual primal language but, reeking of male intent~
At one point, we looked into each others eyes and the gaze was so penetrating it blocked out everything but the pounding of  my heart… Thru that rhythm I could sense our breathing align and nothing more than the soft lapping of the waves on the shore were audible beyond that~
We fitted into an embrace the way sun slowly drapes over the crest of morning landscape when it rises despite the shadows growing long around us as the sun set across the river horizon … It felt like we were melting together….
His lips were soft but, molten against the nape of my neck… His scent was spicy but also held the fragrance of water from his afternoon swim~ Our embrace lingered until our cheeks brushed across the scruff and shadow of our evening beards~ The corner of his mouth so close to mine I could feel his breath~ The pillows of our lips met precisely at the moment our eyes locked together~ It nearly made me cry… Feeling overwhelmed, I swallowed. The sound echoed inside of me like a single drop of water breaking the surface of a deep, still cinote’ pool~
One of the most beautiful moments in my life with this man… What followed was profound~  (a private chapter).
I discovered nearly seven years later from a common Client, (after becoming an Escort myself), that he was a provider in Portland~ His moniker was “Portland Bill”~ While the experience was both profound and beautiful, it is because Portland Bill was a profoundly beautiful man~
A few here on this board will remember him~
I have felt the energy of that kiss and our experience my entire lifetime~ It is ever warm and ever impressionable~  It ripples back and forth between all sides of me whenever I kiss~
He passed away in the early 2000’s~
While I still feel that loss… I feel also the “touch” of his loving nature in me~
     Thank you, Portland Bill~
Some of my Clients who had hired him may attest to the incredible radiance of this selfless and loving man~
He was a one: unique within millions~
     Lovingly, Tyger~

Pictures below are of me building drift wood sculptures on Sauvies Island some lazy afternoon in Portland, Oregon the same month and summer I met this man~

  4.  and real situations 57
It’s furry things~ Fur love~ Full of heart

Gritty humor, feel good vibes, life situations that make you think and love~ Stories of family and friends… Oppenheimer for its historical interpretations and superb acting efforts~

  5. There was a young parson of Norton
Whose prick, although thick, was a short 'un.
To make up for this loss,
He had balls like a horse,
And never pumped less than a quart in.

There was a poor parson from Goring, Who made a small hole in his flooring, Fur-lined it all round, Then laid on the ground, And declared it was cheaper than whoring.

11+ hours of ocean waves......as usual, the comments are the best part....to wit:  For people with anxiety: Close your eyes, listen deeply to the waves, breathe in count to 5, breathe out count to five do this for as many times until you are calm or asleep. Don’t forget you’re not alone you are loved you are strong you are special. I love you.

LOL, my warped mind thought this would end with: ....do this as many times until you are calm or asleep. Don't forget you're not alone, there is someone standing at the foot of your bed....

    😮

Aren’t they usually under the bed~?

  8. Refreshing, awesome anime and villainess angels It feels so familiar you swear they were  family… or something~ The art is well crafted and the dialogue is Cheeky~
Besides the same sex love theme, there’s an even bigger important message here~

    Lahaina On Fire

Many of us have visited Maui, the Valley Isle, and if you know locals, you may want to check in, though communications may be down.

Check your favorite resource for news for updates.

Heartbreaking loss to the state and native communities.

Horrifying the amount of damage from these fires~ Lahaina is unrecognizable~ Perhaps an opportunity for the indigenous to reclaim and bring the future of the island back to their own vision~
