He slipped on a balcony of an old house in an abandoned mountaintop village in Calabria. Probably just looking at the view. Unfortunately there was no railing. Didn't sound like a stunt to me.

I can no longer even imagine stepping out onto such an unguarded elevation above a chasm as described.

When much younger, I went to such heights as New York's Empire State Building observation deck, the St. Louis Gateway Arch, Chicago's Willis Tower (then the John Hancock), the Washington Monument and the towers of National Cathedral, and even crossed the Golden Gate Bridge on the back of a motorcycle, holding so tightly to a sailor named Ken that I may have left marks. And did all this without barely a hint of trepidation, if any at all. Now, if I even so much as see a photo looking down from such heights, my butt tightens and my stomach churns.

Age-related vertigo, perhaps? Anybody else experience such a change?

Legal experts say a 5th Circuit decision to uphold part of a Texas law regulating adult entertainment websites conflicts with U.S. Supreme Court precedent regarding...

Is pornography such a big fucking deal?

What's wrong with folks watching porno? is that better than doing drugs and drinking alcohol?

The reason for these limitations placed by various states is always the same, to protect children. But I ask myself, to protect which children? The ones too young to understand what they're looking at and therefore unlikely to be much affected by it, or the ones who know better and blow past the You Must be 18 or Older warnings and enter anyway?

So now the freedom of adults to enjoy legal porn in the privacy of their own homes is made contingent on the sensibilities of children too young to comprehend it or so disregarding of clearly already established prohibitions that rules will not stop them.

And apparently the idiot legislators that support such measures have never heard of VPNs, a thing I'm sure any child between 10 and 18 not only knows about but also how to use.

There's something about this young muscle stud that brings out the best -or more like the beast- in me; the face, the hair, the muscles, the cheekiness of that taunting tongue. I'd love to see him abducted by leather-clad muscle masters, suspended, strapped, and made use of in all kinds of ways. Then I want to see it all over again.

Damn! Is it hot in here?

[More pics of this morsel, please!]

  4. At 75, I still have a very vivid and energetic libido; as someone who once observed of themself, "I can get aroused by the crack of dawn," and I sometimes feel the same. However, plumbing issues being as they have become, I feel in the position of an old dog with no teeth who finally catches one of the cars he's chased after all his life. "Now what?" he asks himself.  What now indeed?

What is love? 'Tis not hereafter,
    Present mirth hath present laughter.
What's to come is still unsure.

So come and kiss me, Sweet and Twenty,
Youth's a stuff will not endure.

This is both stupid and insane.

Agreed, and in about the same league as John Allen Muhammad (of DC Sniper infamy) going on a hunger strike while locked up in a Maryland jail and after having already been convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death in Virginia.

Maybe Muhammad and Cazares can share their Darwin Award posthumously.
[BTW, the objective of Muhammad's hunger strike was to get better food in the jail. You can't make this sh*t up.]

You are interpreting this statement to mean they escort?

📥 Available for privates, please DM 📥

    Bozo disagrees.
These two are highly paid and well renowned acrobats. They have appeared in Las Vegas hotels, America's Got Talent TV show, etc.
Do you think they would risk their careers and reputations as highly paid performers by advertising as sex workers? Nooooooo way.
"Available for privates" likely means they are available for private events performing as acrobats, i.e. charity functions, gymnastic clubs, weddings for the super rich, etc.

This entire thread is just a misguided case of wishful thinking.

I agree it's unlikely and hope it's not so. But I do recall reports in these pages of lawyers, weathermen, and newscasters making similarly sad and stupid choices. So, there is some precedent.

Dozens of ‘rogue’ cows run free along South Carolina highway after 18-wheeler crashes in fiery blaze

    Talk about free-range cattle.

A swarm of cows ran free across a South Carolina highway Tuesday after the tractor-trailer carrying them ran off the road in a fiery wreck.

Wild photographs showed real-life cowboys lassoing the runaway cows as they bolted down the interstate and waded in nearby waters.

“In an unusual [sight], riders on horseback used lassos to catch some of the cows and place them in cattle trailers,” Colleton County Fire-Rescue said in a release.

More than 35 cattle were inside an 18-wheeler when it crashed into a bridge, burst into flames and split in half, with its cattle car plunging into a river near Walterboro, a city 50 miles west of Charleston.

Rescue teams responded just past 1 a.m. to find the mangled truck completely engulfed in flames and hanging over the side of the bridge, leaking diesel fuel across the roadway and into the water below.

Miraculously, the driver and his herd escaped from the inferno, officials said.

The driver was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“Firefighters and law enforcement discovered several cows in the river and on the banks. Some were injured,” fire officials said.

The rest of the herd had run loose into the woods and along the highway, setting off a wild day-long chase involving rescue teams and local veterinarians and ranchers, some of whom arrived on horseback.

Out of an abundance of caution, investigators shut down both the northbound and southbound sides of the roadway as they hunted down the roaming cattle, want of which were dark-colored and not visible during nighttime along the rural highway.

“The effort ran into hours as the cattle ran in multiple directions,” the fire department said.

Officials re-opened the highway after 10 exhilarating hours, but the chase wasn’t over — it took the remainder of the day to round up rogue cows that had escaped to neighborhoods along the highway.

OY! HOW DO I HITCHHIKE WITHOUT THUMBS?

I know I shouldn't, and I'm embarrassed already, but ... Holy Cow! What an udder disaster!

Ah, yes! Sir Percy was wonderful. Love the old movie (from the 30's) with Leslie Howard as Sir Percy. And Raymond Massey was especially good as the bad guy. Thanks for reminding me.

I only became aware of Bette Midler when she had her breakout hit, You Gotta Have Friends. Did you see her perform before she was a star?

She's always been a star; it just took a little time for that fact to be adequately acknowledged.
