  1. Would you be willing to share why not? If so, perhaps you could PM me if you don't mind?
  2. So not very often?
  3. A giant pair of cloth diapers held together with a huge safety pin. And sometimes a baby bonnet if it's a bit chilly.
  4. Nice cutlery
  5. It's also best to move house since most car accidents tend to happen within 2 miles of home... 😉
  6. Reports today note that Irene Cara has sadly died at the age of 63. No details have been given for the cause of death. Cara was perhaps best known for her roles in the movies Flashdance and Fame. RIP.
  7. Is that a turkey that's been spatchcocked?
  8. Perhaps he's actually 87...
  9. Any commercial for toilet paper that features people sitting on the toilet with their pants around their ankles. We know what the paper is used for already. Also, any commercial for feminine hygiene products that includes pouring a red liquid onto the surface to show the improved absorbency of the product. When I was younger it was always a beaker of blue liquid that was used. We knew what that liquid represented - there was never any reason to make it red. 🤮
  10. While the individual in question may be older and popular, ultimately you are trusting him at his word that he is vaccinated. That is a risk in and of itself. I think everyone needs to protect themselves against any ailments that could be contracted from a provider, irrespective of the provider's stated vaccine or health status. I'm sorry to hear that your medications prevent you from receiving the vaccine yourself. I know very little about Monkeypox, and I do not have medical training, but it concerns me that this decision involves taking someone else (and essentially a stranger) at their word. Remember, this individual has a vested interest in meeting with you, and it is easy for someone to say they are vaccinated in order to diminish the fears that potential clients might have. All the best to you with whatever choice you make.
  11. I think he needs to provide at least a few more photos.
  12. Those must have been quite the blips on the radar screen...
  13. Many cultures eat carp - particularly those that rely on freshwater fish in areas far from a coastline. So technically, I would say that goldfish would be a possible menu item if allowed to grow to a marketable size, but why bother if other species of carp are available without the need to crossbreed for external appearance?
  14. The other possibility is that he honestly assumed he was bisexual because he had conflicting and complicated feelings for both men and women. Given the compounding issue of his former beliefs, I imagine his journey to express his truth may be more convoluted than simply avoiding admitting he is gay. I'm not very familiar with all the terminology, but doesn't 'queer' include bisexuality - perhaps being an even broader label than bisexual? He mentions wanting to marry a man, but that doesn't preclude him from still being bisexual, does it?
  15. Just to clarify, I only made the comment about you being socially awkward because you referred to yourself as being socially awkward in your post back on December 26, 2021. This was in the string 'Nevermind', and you wrote: "I am socially awkward. I don't think I can handle the night club environment around so many people. I am also not that young (late 30s)." I agree that language differences are a significant consideration, and English is very difficult to learn as an adult, from what I've heard. Nobody should ever call anyone stupid or dumb, whether or not that person is making the statement based on race, or any other characteristic. When I made the post about social awkwardness, it was out of concern that you may have been alienated by the forum. It's good to see you are back
  16. Well, he is a pirate after all. Now had he shown up with a parrot on his shoulder...
  17. Well, he's clearly not a travel agent.
  18. Wow those places look great. And compared to many 3-bed apartments in Toronto and Vancouver, they seem like a good deal even with the exchange rate. But those monthly fees are huge...
  19. Perhaps you are more hung than you realize, or maybe he has only been with guys who are less hung than you? I'm always confused by the term 'well hung' because there isn't really a definition for it, is there?
  20. Not a lawyer here, but I think offering money or compensation for any sexual act is considered solicitation, and therefore is something that can be prosecuted regardless whether or not money changed hands.
  21. Which is one reason why I only buy unopened packaged of Fruit of the Loom. And because most doctors recommend at least some fruit each day.
  22. Of course there's a risk in wearing underwear made from bamboo....
  23. The Celts displaced the original inhabitants of Ireland around 2000 years ago. The original settlers or colonizers had been there several thousand years already. In the early Middle Ages the Irish colonized much of northwest Scotland, destroying the culture and language of the Picts.
  24. I agree. And living in a city that is popular with tourists reinforces the notion that it is a desireable place to be.
  25. I'm not familiar with either KC or St.L., but it sounds like relocating may be a good idea. I think there are lots of places that do not get progressively worse. Perhaps do some online searches and look for the best cities for the various characteristics you prioritize. But first really know what your priorities are for a good quality of life, and be honest with yourself about which priorities are negotiable.
