I don't go anymore, but the event was created (along with 'Tropical Heat') to try to jazz things up during the slow season.  Bone Island was the one thing that really took off.
Two of the bars (Saloon One and Bourbon Pub) tend to blackout the front windows, set up a clothes check and limit entrance to men only.  In the past, Bourbon had a pretty naughty foam party out by their pool.
By the end of the night, it's less an event and more of an orgy.  
Looking at the current schedule, it looks like they've expanded to more bars, naked shopping experience and are chartering a Fury catamaran for getting naked on the water.
Are you staying at Island House?  You'll be in the epicenter if so.
Bring a wallet you can velcro to your arm or leg (or a bulldog harness also works).
It's gonna be humid and hot.  I recommend a small hand towel with you, good socks to catch sweat and a pair of comfy shoes.  Flip flops seem great, until you're drunk, sliding around in them and then end up barefoot on Duval.

You have 3* on there (out of 5*) not bad but I think you need to up your game a little to get to 4*.  Tip better, do more groaning and say “harder… ugh it’s so big”  regularly during the session, and arch your back more when you’re on your front. Otherwise you seem to have some decent reviews on there (except for the 1* in Sep,23…what happened there? I guess we can all have a bad day).
I can’t share the website because of data protection laws. But if you keep doing a good job as a client I’m sure your rating will improve. 
Seriously though! …no such site exists. No one is interested in rating clients, there’s no practical way to organise it since there’s no register or website of clients advertising their potential custom. All anyone cares about is whether a client is going to be a time waster, refuse to pay or is crazy (or all 3 which is usually the case). You can tell that when they contact you 99% of the time. There are some sites where the phone number of seriously troubled individuals are shared so that guys know who they are but these don’t ‘rate’ clients. It’s solely from a safety and security perspective.

Island House is definitely fun & worth it.  One of the better values in KW.  

I stayed for a few days at Island House last year, working trip, massage only. I was busy the entire time. Thing is, the trip cost so much between flights and lodging that I essentially broke even and wasted a few days neither vacationing nor turning much of a profit. The main pool and bar were fun to hang around though! Live and learn.

The gay scene has shrunk considerably in the last decade, so the bars remaining are those in the 700-800 Block of Duval.
Bourbon Pub (although now a mixed gay/straight B&B), 801 (drag club upstairs, bar downstairs), Saloon 1 (leather/fetish bar) and the Aqua Complex of bars (mostly drag and a little dance).
LaTeDa for dinner, drinks and a show (Randy Roberts).
Island House remains the sole place where things still can get genuinely debaucherous.   It's an all-male gay B&B with free entry if you are eating/drinking there.  Several pools, hot tubs, play area, steam/sauna.  There's a 90% chance you're gonna get laid if you go there and roam around.  
BluQ is a fun on-the-water, gay, clothing optional boat that does sandbar trips.  
Check to see if there's something playing at the Tennessee Williams Theater.

In a big blue city (say NYC) the last thing the cops have time for is the hobby. They have a lot of other things to deal with.  So as long as things stay private, calm and friendly there is almost no risk. A small city where folks have nothing better to do? Probably risk goes up a little bit, but not much.

That being said, I have hired for a long time. Only twice have things gone sideways. Neither of which resulted in charges but they did involve drugs.
The long and the short of it is this: you both have a lot to lose but if one's lot is much bigger, then the other will want a part of it. 
This is why I hire guys who are quality. If they have as much to lose as you, then you'll likely have minor issues. 

Some of us have a lot to lose but we also have our own risk/reward tolerances and vet the escort as much as they're vetting us as clients. 
I had one bad experience where an escort I hired to my house for the first time saw my full name on a credit card laying on my table in the hallway. He found me on LinkedIn and started a small extortion scheme because I own a couple companies and he was able to find me in the news, etc.  Upon researching him more on here, I wasn't the first person he tried that with apparently. It was easily nipped in the bud by "my people" (LOL) but it could have gotten out of hand. I'm much more apprehensive these days based on that experience. 
I always look for reviews.  If you have over a dozen good reviews, that is typically a solid way to vet people. Yes, some reviews can be fake or whatever, but the entire rating (Uber, Amazon, etc.) thing really works. That's why it has proliferated into almost every aspect of our lives. So honestly, if you have 50+ 4.9 reviews, you're fucking awesome.  I even know one escort who has 120+ reviews and every single one is 5.0.  Maintaining a 5.0 is extremely hard as you can't please everyone, but there are a handful out there who manage to do just that.  Those are the experts at their craft and worth every single dollar. 

This is very unusual in Michigan and especially in Royal Oak which has a large gay community.   This hotel is used by a lot of escorts so I'm sure the cops were already aware of what often goes on there.  Sounds to me like this was a hire gone bad and the cops were called.  

I use a Burner app that is not in my name, and I can delete it from my phone. I recently spoke to a provider who travels internationally. He backs his "work" phone up to the cloud and then hard resets it before customs. 
I don't know your demography but it is extremely unlikely that you would even be of interest to law enforcement. The reality is that the police target poor Johns and massage parlors and other places where it's easy to do mass arrests. They also target sex workers who are poor and marginalized. Given the breadth of this group, if people were running into issues, I suspect we'd all know. 

The common refrain on this site is don't do this if you have a lot to lose, which seems smart, but personally I'd like to get a better sense of quantified risk.
Has anyone actually experienced legal issues with hiring/meeting established providers on RM? Especially in blue state large cities (SF, LA, Vegas, NYC, Chicago)?
There's really no true way to stay completely anonymous. Currently I'm not hiring because other than people saying the risk is very low, I really don't have a good sense of how low.  I feel safer hiring compared to random hookups but the risk of my life being nearly ruined is impossible to ignore. I'm interested in hearing about any actual real life experiences on this point -- thanks in advance.
