  1. I went home a few years ago to consider moving back to be closer to extended relatives upon retiring. I discovered after 30 plus years living in DC that the slow pace, the suburban sprawl, the crappy economy, and mentality ruled out the option for me. I’d likely die of boredom. So it’s back to the drawing board and the search is ongoing.

  2. Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum thinking about hiring for the first time. I've been reading some of the threads with advice for first timers, which have been super helpful, but I still have a couple lingering questions. I would really appreciate any help (and apologies in advance if my questions are super basic).

    • There's a lot of advice on protecting one's privacy, so do clients generally use their real name when contacting escorts? Is it okay to use a different name?
    • Is it better to have the first session at the client's own place, the escort's, or something like a hotel room?
    • Do clients tip in addition to the rate? Is that a thing?
    • Anything else I must know?

    Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Forum @final_impact .

I use my real first name and some trusted escorts know my last name as well. A few escorts who I’ve seen regularly over the years have dropped the pretense and shared real names and such with me. This is a trust level built up over years.

If you want to establish a different identity for hiring then do so for your comfort level. Not making light of the privacy issue but some clients do take to the extreme with burner phones, google voice, and all the masking apps. From my point of view, if one is that paranoid about identity issues then perhaps this hobby is not a good idea.

I do not recommend seeing guys at your own home. Better to see a guy at his hotel or one that you have arranged yourself. Situations can arise and the last thing you need is for your home to no longer be a safe haven.

I don’t tip unless the guy works for an agency. I will cover transportation costs either hotel parking, taxi, or Uber for guys coming to my hotel. I always tell the guy I’ll cover these costs while making arrangements. Usually this is not more than additional $50 expense.

    Relax and enjoy yourself.

Thanks for providing this information. Very helpful.

  4. Isn't it funny that we have a escort in his purported 30's chiming in about retirement destinations?

Considering the average age of the client base around this forum it makes perfect sense to me. He likely has tons of experience with geriatrics.

  5. Has anyone on the thread ever considered retiring in Las Vegas? It’s on my list for consideration

I’m considering Las Vegas as an option but haven’t begun to research the practical aspects yet.

  6. WOW

I seemed to have stirred up the full gamut of emotions here.

Sorry if I raised bad memories.

My fantasy has been shattered, but that's ok.

What an amazing lesson to learn :-

Profile is not always what it seems

reviews are not always what they seem.

I have a new appreciation of the great men I hire..

Thanks to all the beautiful souls who shared

There’s nothing to apologize for related to this thread. As you noted, profiles are not always accurate and reviews are subjective and occasionally misleading.

Steven Draker was a complex character on this message board. He was one of the most popular guys some years back. My first encounter with him was outstanding, subsequent sessions no so much. That callipygian ass was beautiful to behold.

This thread has illustrated the complexities of this business.

  7. He’s Flemish and I’m Dutch. I used to call him a “dominee” (minister) because he could be puritanical about some things. He had a stereotype that if you enjoyed a bathhouse you by definition—and no discussion about it had—a drug addiction. I enjoy bathhouses and I don’t do any drugs and never have. He never believed me and whenever the topic would come up he always cast me as a drug abuser.

He may be Flemish but I’d surmise his ethnicity may be of Russian heritage. By chance during an overnight session with him I awoke a bit early. The hotel had slipped his bill under the door and I learned his real name. The last name ended in “ov” and the name was clearly of Russian extraction. I didn’t mention that I’d learned his real name ast it was quite accidental.

  8. Hired him several times and there was a steady decline in the experience. I was also, like many others, on the receiving end of his mean-spirited private messages.

Some may remember his alternate account IceFireWizard here which he used to attack escorts he’d worked with or competed for clients. It was bad. Then there was that dispute he had with Scott Adler. There’s a thread buried around here on that little dust up.

  9. What is the Man to Man Agency?

MTM was an escort agency that offered several of the Randy Blue guys such as Chris Rockway, Jeremy Walker, Brendan Cage and others. Dave was the guy who ran it and he closed it down a few years ago. I always had great experiences with his guys and he would advise who was a right fit and who wasn’t.

  10. Last I had heard he was moving to Oregon and was selling his artwork.

I hired him several times and had great experiences. He was hit or miss sometimes according to Dave at Man To Man Agency.

  11. I will only answer my cell if I know the person. All of my friends text and that’s the preferred means of communication. If we need to discuss an issue in detail we make arrangements to call. I will not answer an unknown number or blocked number. They are invariably telemarketers or some scammer.

I carry this over to work as well, all colleagues and business associates know to email me prior to schedule a phone call. Unrecognized numbers go straight to voicemail. The vast majority of messages are solicitations for my business. I do not return those voicemails. In fact I’ve let my voicemail max out and then mass delete them after a couple months. Even my out of office greeting is generic enough to imply I’m on travel and that I may return a message “when practical” which is seldom. This has yet to cause me any issues. I’m also trying to lead an effort to have voicemail removed from our phones like several large corporations have done.

  12. Public sex like this has been going on for a long, long time. Part of me applauds guys who still have the gumption to do this.

The other part of me thinks 'if you've got anything to lose, you're a damned fool for playing with fire.'

There are smarter ways to get the thrill of fucking in public without getting arrested.

One would assume that the apps such as a Grinder and Scruff have put a serious dent in this practice. However, human nature does not change and cruising public places for sex is not going to disappear.

  13. I've had it up to here with the recriminations between baby boomers and millennials. There's always overgeneralizations and the Boomers sound like old folks yelling at people to get off their lawn. Blaming Boomers for everything that's wrong is equally annoying.

Why doesn't anyone drag Generation X into this? Are they now too old to get dumped on? I seem to remember a time when they were blamed for everything, back when they were the young whippersnappers. Seeing as they are reputedly more apathetic and apolitical than Boomers or Millennials/Generation Y, it seems to me they make better targets of disdain if one absolutely must engage in intergenerational disdain.

I helped get myself into the medical condition I'm in now by putting work ahead of my health, so complaints about supposed laziness and lack of work ethic don't ring a bell with me.

Full disclosure: I'm a Boomer and my daughter is a late millennial.

As the video clip above demonstrates so effectively, Gen X-ers are pretty much overshadowed by two larger more self absorbed generations. They are the middle child of generational demographics.

  14. Verizon sells Tumblr to Wordpress owner six years after $1.1 billion deal.

    UPDATE:

For those who are interested in Tumblr...Verizon has sold it.

Reports indicate Tumblr was sold for $3 million that’s an incredible plunge in value from the $1.1 billion Yahoo paid in 2013. Neither Yahoo or Verizon had a clue on how to manage this platform. It will be interesting to see what the WordPress parent company does with this asset.

  15. Did you ever go to Shooters/Rascals next door to the Riggs bank at Dupont Circle?

The upstairs club had gogo boys, and I had the biggest crush on one guy who worked there. I went every weekend for a year just to drool over him. I still have a photo he gave me :)

    Rascals was a blast!
