Danny i know what you mean. I used to love watching them unload the trucks at the grocery store at midnight for the supermarket. The guys would wear wifebeaters since store was closed(but my gym in the sane shopping center was open). Man I tell you it was a dream to watch. I find some ppl are so obsessed with youthful looking providers they dont care what they look like as long as they look somewhat juvenile but over legal age. I have run into way too many ppl with cut offs at 21 and found it more prevalent in men of a certain age. It was as if their was an age fetish making them the ageists.

Interesting thread. Masculine men will always be in style. Masculinity is far from a construct. If you watch young boys who grow up to be in certain professions you can see the mannerisms forming from an early age without very little input. Also as far as women go at the heart of things they like alpha males. Many times they will fight it but watch how women act when a firefighter or cop enters the room or a group of marines. Women settle often with men that they know are practical as fathers as husbands and not what makes their adrenaline go through the roof.
