I never thought about the use of fake names as reminding one of being in the closet, but that's a great point. For me, it was too much to remember and keep track of. When I used a fake name and would then not respond when the guy would use "my" name it was obvious it was fake.
 

I used to hire a guy who would host me at his apartment from time to time. At first, if he escorted me upstairs we did not have to go through the rigamaroll of presenting and swiping an ID. Adding two cents to the jar......that review did seem a little harsh if the massage was technically good and you paid for a massage. I personally would have started with that information and added the rest after being clear you DID get what you paid for.

I'm sorry, but what was the purpose of your original post then? If the massage is fine but there was no chemistry, why start an unsolicited semi-negative review? I've had massages that were just blah but I wouldn't post a review that potentially dissuades new clients unless it was truly bad or there was some other issue. Now, if someone else had asked about him, then fine, say the chemistry wasn't there between the two of you.

I rarely ever give my real first name to an escort or masseur to begin with. I figure most of them use "assumed" names, why not me? I have a completely filled out profile, and it’s amazing how many people I’ve hired haven’t read it. Especially funny when they say they didn’t know I was black, because I fill it out to make sure it’s known. Luckily I haven’t been turned away because of it.
