  1. Who? Oh yeah, the lying attention whore from a few years ago? Let me rephrase that….who cares?
  2. I’d offer him "nearly 5 figures" not to do it. I always hated the show and he comes off as an ass in interviews.
  3. Thankfully unloaded my tickets (for a profit). I only really bought them to see Bob the Drag Queen open for her….and now that the dates moved he’s not opening at the Madison Square Garden show anymore. Her Blond Ambition tour is still one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. I’m happy to keep my memories of the Goddess in her full glory. She was amazing. Now, 2 hours late?, abbreviated show?, not what she used to be?….thanks but I’ll keep my memories.
  4. You’re TRYING to hurt me…..aren’t you? grin
  5. You’ve never lived on a farm, have you? Bull’s do all kinds of crazy things. For the record, I’d love to fuck this bull.
  6. "Forced"? I don’t ever remember pseudoephedrine ever being completely removed. At least not in the US. I mean yeah, they moved it behind the counter and you weren’t allowed to buy 5 lbs of it all at once, but I’d hardly call that being "forced to buy phenylephrine". Btw, CVS is voluntarily removing phenylephrine from their shelves because the crap doesn’t work.
  7. Too fucking funny. I was just about to post and give you a hard time in the Orsay thread about all the incredible pieces you missed because they were on loan to The Met for this show. The show is amazing. In fact, one of the best I’ve seen in recent memory. And I’m not really a fan of either of the artists. The final room was especially touching. Glad you got to see it! Of course, you still missed Whistler’s Mother, which is on loan to the Philadelphia Museum of Art right now…..grin.
  8. Call me crazy….but it’s not his feet I’m looking at…… grin
  9. That’s a horrible way for a seller to determine the price of any product. Was the buyer happy?…If yes, then I must have charged too little. Super bad business model…..Business 101.
  10. A) I hate geometry B) I hate myself C) Therefore, I must solve this problem. The key to this puzzle is knowing that the pink triangle and the small triangle above it are “identical" triangles. If you need help with figuring out how I know that….see below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I12ko_ovgwo You must also know that ratio of the base to the height is always the same between identical triangles. Let’s assign the sides of the square to equal 1. (It just makes the math a little easier) Looking at the diagram, we know that base of the small triangle is 1/2 the base of the pink triangle. Therefore the height of the little triangle must be 1/2 the height of the large triangle. We also know that the height of the two triangle added together must equal 1. Therefore the height of the small triangle must be 1/3 and the pink triangle height must be 2/3. Now we know the base (1) and height (2/3) of the pink triangle. Using the formula for the area of a triangle "area = 1/2 x base x height" We get "pink area = 1/2 x 1 x 2/3" which equals 1/3. Since we assumed the square is 1 x 1, we know the area of the square is 1. Since, 1/3 of 1 is 1/3. The fraction of the square that is shaded is 1/3.
  11. "38% of the population has O positive blood, making it the most common blood type." https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/blood-types/o-blood-type.html Of course, there’s much more to finding a compatible donor organ than just blood type…..but yes, O+ is the most common. I wish him well. Dialysis is hell.
  12. Not really. I’d say 3.85% die within one week of their birthday. Why? Because I can do M-A-T-H. grin
  13. Any of you H-O-M-O-S want P-I-Z-Z-A?
  14. Now there’s a circus I wouldn’t mind being a monkey 🙊 in! (I’m assuming the monkeys in this circus get all the bananas they want…grin)
  15. Baby, it’s just a word. I feel a song coming on….
  16. I prefer the ”F" word. And, I hate nanny censorship!
  17. Ok, that does it. We’re fucking.
  18. Do NOT ruin my fantasy! Hey, a boy can dream. Can’t he?…..grin
  19. So wait. Let me get this “straight”. He ruined his career over a woman he isn’t even in love with? Now I think he’s an even bigger idiot than I did before!
  20. “Out” to my best friend at 17 (the first). ”Out" to my parents at 25 (the last). After that there was no "In".
  21. Now you’re just taunting me….grin. Even for an art nerd like me, 7 hours at the Musee d’Orsay is impressive. It’s not THAT huge. Glad you’re enjoying it so much! Please say hello to Ours Blanc by François Pompon (1855 - 1933) He’s one of my favorites:
  22. I love that display at the Musée de l'Orangerie. It reminds me of the beautiful room they used to have at MOMA to display their Monet Water Lillies. Unfortunately, ever since the destruction..err, sorry…”renovation” of MOMA many years ago, they really haven’t figured out how to display they properly. In addion, the Musée de l'Orangerie often has excellent temporary exhibitions. It looks like they’ve got a great Modigliani show right now. Guess I’m going to have to move up the date of my trip to see the Rothko show at La Fondation Louis Vuitton, so I don’t miss the Modigliani show. The Modigliani show closes mid-January. Christmas in Paris anyone? https://www.musee-orangerie.fr/en https://www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr/en
  23. Cimetière du Père Lachaise Is indeed one of the great "quiet" spots in Paris. The only problem is trying to avoid the throngs of Jim Morrison groupies. Otherwise, it’s heaven.
  24. Forgive yourself.
