Full disclosure....I took my first gay cruise...because Mr. Draker suggested I try it. And while they certainly aren’t for everyone, I loved going on them for many years. I've never understood the appeal of art fairs. I mean it's nice to see lots of art in one place....but a well planned trip to NYC galleries yields the same (or better) results 365 days of the year....with no maddening pretentious crowds of people who know little to nothing about art. As spectacle...I get it. As a forum for looking at or buying serious art.....not really.
