Coincidence or trolling?
 
I recently watched the episode of THE HOGAN FAMILY that introduced Sandy Duncan to the show. It was the first episode after Valerie Harper was fired and her character killed off.
 
Off all the cities to choose from, they had Duncan moving 'from Minneapolis' to help raise her brother's kids. Of course, Harper gained fame playing Rhoda on THE MARY TYLER MOORE show, which was set in Minneapolis.
 
In addition, Duncan's character was a guidance counselor. One of the other counselors was played by Ray Buktenica, who had played Brenda's boyfriend on RHODA (& I think dated Julie Kavner for a while).

The walker has been a great help. I would not be able to get around the apartment without it.

I fondly remember one scene where Dr Cameron introduced Novotny to a couple who had met each other in WWII.

I think that you will feel great. Know basically what you want as far as the haircut goes (unless you are like me and there are not many options) and just lay back enjoy the shave (assuming it is going to the skin). Enjoy.

Need to get my hair cut. Haven't had it cut since mid-November.

I've not had a haircut in almost four years. And I have not shaved in over six months. My apartment shares the parking lot with a hair salon. My landlord was just here. I told him that I'd like / needed a haircut and shave. So he went over and brought me one of stylist's business cards. She was not in.
 
So I'm going to call in a few days. She'll need to come here.

Let’s call it the “shirtless episode”. More men going topless since the beach party episode. Zander doesn’t appear to be resisting Leo’s advances. Imagine waking up with Leo breathing over you. It will be interesting to see if Xander goes gay-4-pay with Leo... Rex went the entire episode shirtless and, eventually, with just a towel. Nice body! Even JJ got into the topless action. Nice hairy chest. Hopefully, other male cast members will soon be losing their shirts again: Trip, Chad, Will, Sonny, Ben, etc.... I’m guessing it’s sweeps week.

I have written an absolutely honest autobiography. I also have 46 years of daily journals, in which I have recorded everything of note to me, including such details as how much I paid Escort X on Sept. 4, 1982, and what acts we engaged in; my opinion of an operatic performance at Covent Garden in March 1974; where I ate dinner on July 5, 1997; what lie I told my high school class reunion committee in 2005 to avoid going to their get-together; the death from AIDS of someone I fucked at an orgy in Baltimore in 1966, etc., etc., ad nauseam. The journals alone fill a very long file cabinet drawer.
 
An academic library to which I have given a substantial financial bequest has agreed to accept and archive all these documents and keep them closed for ten years after my death, after which they will be available to anyone.
 
There are no Jeff Stryker dildos, handcuffs or lacy underpants to worry about. But then there are the thousands of my posts on this site.....

Funny scene today. Leo and Sonny are at the hospital and Will signals Sonny who makes an excuse to run off. As soon as he does Leo starts to text. Switch to Xander, sitting on an easy chair, shirt on unfortunately (though right afterwards Rex a straight character is shirtless in two scenes and he could give Xander a run for his money in the hot body competition) holding a banana. Camera switches to phone screen which say something to the effect Leo: Remember my offer. Think it over you might even enjoy it. Switch back to Xander holding the now peeled banana. Xander eyes the banana and raises his eyebrows in a you can never tell look. I was hoping for him to go down on the banana all the way but as it was, it was pretty funny.
Sometime a cigar is just a cigar, but a banana is never just a banana.

When his porn career is over what will he do? This seems like a step backwards.

has anybody ever held the door for you when you're still at least 25 feet from it and you ended up jogging a bit to the door because you felt guilty for them holding it??!!

I believe it is a common courtesy. I appreciate when it is extended to me - regardless of who does it - and I try to be diligent to provide the courtesy as well. It’s a small gesture that communicates humanity
and decency to me. To be offended by such a courtesy is proof we live in a time and place in history that, in general, affords so much abundance that we even have time to philosophize and be offended by such things.

I enjoy holding the door for others. It's a little thing and adds to the other person's day.

this topic has come up before......I have a couple independent, liberal woman friends who have told me in no uncertain terms that I do NOT need to hold the door open for them.....in that earlier forum discussion, I believe it was @mike carey who said I can reply to them with something like, "I'm not holding the door open because you are women.....I'm holding the door open because it's common courtesy and the nice thing to do"
 

Holding the door open is common courtesy, no matter the gender for whom the door is held open. Remember to thank them for holding it open.
