I vote for @BeefyDude posting a photo of dat ass for research purposes. You know, just so that the people can at least compare theirs to his and get an idea of whether they have a chance of getting that much-wanted attention. ???

Escorts and massage therapists who ask for a deposit are way too precious for me. It suggests that their time is "too" important, which also suggests that money takes priority over anything else. That's a bridge too far for me. I have other more important service people in my life, and none of them require a deposit for an appointment, so why should I treat a massage or escort appointment any differently? To each his own.

Yes, it’s all about the money, the escorts don’t do it for charity. With that being said, they should definitely contact someone to cancel if there’s already a scheduled appointment.

I feel like the "what precaution do you take when out in the world" question is the new "are you neg?". I'm not sure that anyone (masseur or client) will say "I'm a Karen out there fighting the good fight against the greeter at Walmart to the defend my "right" to not wear a mask in a privately own business establishment", but we know that's happening. And people who genuinely think they're doing everything right might still be sick and not know it. People who had COVID before might be able to get it again (the jury is still out on that).

So all those "precautions" are nice to have for peace of mind. But the bottom line is you should only get a massage if you're comfortable taking the risk that you might leave the session with a nasty little virus in your system. I would hope everyone understands that and that nobody'll be surprised if that happens to them despite the "precautions" that an unknowable number of people interacting with your masseur, and he himself, allegedly took.

I've never had the balls to make any overt moves like this. But traveling frequently in Asia I've had a few service guys who I think might have been reachable.

One guy in Siem Reap at a very high end hotel who was very sweet. I spent a lot of time chatting with him at the front desk. He was very service oriented and even accompanied me to a restaurant nearby so he could give the tuk tuk driver directions. Everyone else on the staff seemed to know exactly what was going on but I guess we were both a little too shy to go very far.

In Thailand I recall having a cute fairly obviously gay boy come to my room when I was having trouble getting the TV to work.

A young guy in remote Cambodia was very interested in finding out why I was traveling alone and was surprised to hear I wasn't married. Sadly I was leaving the hotel right after breakfast (where I encountered him). I felt a bit sad for him that he was stuck in the middle of nowhere.

And a couple of very cute guys at hotel in Sri Lanka. I think the hotel employed mainly guys who were studying hospitality management. One was working mainly in the restaurant wearing a nice sarong that really showed off his ass. And the other did cleaning and other general tasks. He was adorable and I was quite smitten. I had to ask him to show me how the shower worked as it was oddly complicated. And he made nice elephants out of towels for me. If I'd been staying longer maybe I could have reeled him in.

    Ah, what might have been.

A security guard at a urinal put on quite a show for me after realizing I was starring at his huge cock. He stroked to full erection but demurred once I tried to get him into a stall. Another security guard at a downtown hotel I recognized as a guy who used to live in Palm Springs with his wife who I would suck off all the time at a bookstore in Cat City. I didn’t have time to try to get him into a bathroom stall buttI sure wish I had. His cock was one of my favs.

I don't know that I would try anything unless they make the first move/send strong signals...particularly in a Latin American country given the generally macho-type culture. That could be unpleasant and embarrassing for you, if not outright dangerous.

There was some discussion of that in the "Nick" thread above. Nick didn't look dissimilar enough for me to get my wits about me enough to immediately turn around and go. The guy was nice and cute, and the massage was okay, but I don't like supporting that kind of deception

I think that might play a role. But perhaps masseurs don't want prospective clients (who may or may not be very serious about booking) chatting them up for 15 minutes and wasting their time. Texting allows more control over how much time one spends on a given conversation, and it may lead to a call if it seems like the prospective client is serious about booking.

Because one can’t always be bothered with “phone interviews” for something that’s not going to last very long. You want to talk on the phone for 15 min for a massage that’s going to last all of an hour? Reference the resources available per your potential masseur. It’s always struck me as odd that American clients need so much reassurance before booking.

Speaking personally (and it may be a generational thing as someone mentioned above), I don’t need to talk to a client on the phone unless it’s a multiple hour session, overnight or weekend, as the logistics are a bit different. How enthusiastic an escort/masseur sounds on the phone or “answers your questions” isn’t always going to be reflective of his services.

And on the same token, some people interview very well and do a shitty job.

From an escort point of view, I don't want an inquiring client to make judgement about how masc/fem or dominate or any other variety of things when my voice is altered from my throat being swollen from deep throating cock all day. Also, at least for me, I slur words sometimes when I am dry of mouth. Also with the abundance of robo calls, it gets really annoying answering the phone. And most clients take a providers avoidance of explicit questions or answers for legal reasons more harshly and negativity over a voice call versus text. Also, maybe a provider is somewhere where they can't take calls pertaining to the subject matter like the store or the bank, or with family.

I think it is a safe assumption that if the OP is unwilling to state what happened on a forum of strangers most of whom would be supportive, that it is almost assured that he is going to have trouble speaking with a doctor, specifically his doctor. We have no idea of the availability of medical services in his area, though I agree, he needs to get medical help as soon as possible. It may be that the act which occurred needs PEP but it may also be that the OP is unfamiliar with what is and what is not high risk and he may not need PEP. What he definitely needs is education, not humiliation. There is a man who has come to us for help, let us try to be kind and to offer whatever assistance we can,
OP, please be aware that if the man with whom you were involved is negative or has an undetectable viral load due to treatment your risk is either zero, the former, or very low, the latter situation. That is not to say that you should not be concerned, but that is to say that you need to act expeditiously and after seeking medical help, while in the waiting room, call your partner and ask his status, Get treated, get tested and deal with the results.
Blame does not play a productive role in this.

I think that the main point is to make sure that the OP (GoneStag90) has the info that he needs to take FAST action.

None of us know the precise circumstances (e.g., did a condom break?) and what he is going through emotionally.

So I think that what is key here is to provide him with practical advice so that he can take whatever remedial action is needed - before the critical 72-hour window closes.

GoneStag90 - as you've corralled a bunch of folks on here to advise you, please update everyone after you've taken care of yourself and can exhale.

If you're going to do PEP, a very quick Google search will inform you that you MUST do it quickly - if 72 hours pass since your encounter/exposure, it's not effective.

An excerpt from the Planned Parenthood website says: "But you have to start PEP within 72 hours, or 3 days, after you were exposed to HIV, or it won’t work. The sooner you start, the better it works — every hour matters."
    https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/stds-hiv-safer-sex/hiv-aids/pep

So, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!!!

    Good luck.

Attention people who send pictures to masseurs you never met... You're opening up yourself to potential blackmail and embarrassment. You have zero idea what that person will do with it. Or if they are unstable people. He might post it on his social media with a comment. He might threaten to expose you for soliciting sex (the law considers an HE sex). There was a masseur named Tom in West Hollywood a few years ago. Used to advertise on massage m4m. Blonde twunk. Good looking. I texted inquiring about a massage. He was not available when I was so I never booked. The next week he started texting and calling my phone like a nut. Leaving me crazy messages. "you think you're better than me? I'm the best there is!" And stuff like that. And he'd do the same the following week. Can you imagine if an unstable guy like that has your picture?

@Mustang is definitely right. If you're looking for clean and nice, this is definitely not the right place for you. But you can gather that from reading any review on Yelp. That aside, I wouldn't say it's not worth checking the place out. You might enjoy the scene.

Russian baths has men-only times on Thursdays and Sundays. It can get very busy, to the point where guys are packed like sardines in the steam rooms/the sauna. The staff doesn't just walk around...they sometimes sit in the sauna/steam room too. So while there's play to be had if you want it, you have to be very careful.

P.S. - You can't always walk around naked because staff will likely tell you to cover up if they catch you. So not the best spot if you're looking to show off.

In a way, asking for a photo is a good thing. Yes it’s incredibly rude but at least you don’t waste your time with someone who may not give you full attention if they are only looking to massage a certain type of guy.
