I gotta say I find this whole topic bizarre.  I entered high school in 1955 and graduated in 1958.  During those three years I showered every school day at the end of my P.E. class.  We used gang showers and as we exited the shower room the locker room attendant handed each one of us a towel.  We dried off as we went to our lockers where we finished drying off and got dressed.  As we exited the locker-room, we threw the wet towels in a bin.  Nobody thought a thing of it – it was just what we did.  Also in those days men and boy went swimming in the nude at most YMCA’s and nobody thought a thing of it –- it was just what we did.
By the time I retired from teaching high school in 2002 the shower room were “never” used.  After P.E. classes the guy would simply load up on deodorant and proceed through the rest of their school day.  Even following after-school athletic events guys “never” used the showers.  They went home and showered. 
Have you ever noticed how many guys refuse to use urinal in public restrooms nowadays, even urinals that are separated by dividers.  Instead they wait for an empty stall.  Seems, to me, like an over developed sense of silly modesty

The Medicare Advantage Program does function like an HMO thus you are required to use a network of physicians.  He does provide numerous different services.  I have friends who make a point of using all the available serves provided every year even if they don't need them.  Medicare Advantage is incredibly costly and is the major reason why the entire Medicare program is facing insolvency.

Well, I am home again, safe and sound, after a wonderful and “most eventful” trip to England. I was touring Sandringham, Queen Elizabeth II’s, Christmas Holiday estate when it was announced that her health was “delicate.” In fact, she died while I was at Sandringham, but the official announcement was not made until our group was on the way back to the hotel.  Once the announcement was made both Balmoral and Sandringham closed for the duration of the ten days of mourning. Outside of Edinburgh and London there was not a great deal of evidence of her death. However, many of the major churches; York Minster for example closed except for people to sign condolence books. I brought back several days of London newspapers at the request of friends.
United Polaris Class made the ten plus hour trips much more comfortable. The United ground staff went to great lengths to be of assistance getting me checked-in and through security. The Polaris Lounge in Los Angeles was outstanding, and the regular United Lounge in London was excellent thought not of the caliber of the one in L.A. This trip has convinced me that in the future I will, on long flights, be traveling Business Class only.
