I have a digital clock with red numbers that I got at Bed Bath & Beyond for $12. On the rare occasion I have to set an alarm, like to catch a plane, or something, I use the timer on my phone.

Huh. I only really know the NYC scene, so can’t say how it differs elsewhere, but a number of guys I’ve met here have reached out afterwards, kept in touch, let me know about travel schedules, etc. But that applies to visitors as well as to local providers; so really, I’m inclined to think that the tendency to “cultivate” good clients is based more on individual provider personality and business philosophy, and less on geography. Interesting question, though, and I hope we’ll see other responses.

Nothing has come even close to replacing the Gaiety.
NYC's current #1 Strip clubs are a disgrace to the classification Strip Club, at best they are nothing more than dirty dive bars (one even at a PIZZA SHOP and it was dead).
While on business last weekend I visited all of the current #1 strip clubs, the best in my opinion was SPUNK Monster.
The nude party was a bust. $50 to see "dancers" walking around with underwear in there hands to cover there soft dicks.

I would have such a shitty attitude toward any cop who arrested me for this. I'd be like, "Hell yes I was going to pay for sex, and as soon as you release me I'm going to do it again."
 
Looking for sex with children or little helpless drug-addicted women is one thing, but there's nothing wrong with two grown ass men having consensual relations - even if money is involved. My opinion, and I would share it with everyone were I ever arrested. Family included. But I'm lucky. I don't have a beard wife or a job I would lose for being found out. I'm also not the least bit ashamed of the fact that I hire for companionship and sex.

This is what I do as a client. I only hire off of RM. I check the provider's ad to see when the last time they were on RM. If it shows he checked his account within the last 24-48 hours, that tells me he is serious about his business and checks his account regularly for new business (I see accounts that haven't been checked in weeks). Then, I email (!) him one or two complete sentences stating he has a nice ad and that I'll be in his city on certain dates, will he be available? Then I wait. If I get back a friendly, warm, response, then we're off to the races. At that point I share my phone number and we text from there on out. If I get a one word answer or no answer, it's a turn off and I move on.

I think the biggest problem for gay men as they age is loneliness. I exercise, keep my weight down (though I've found food is one of life's pleasures), stay out of the sun (not easy when you live in Arizona) but I also hod onto as many friends as I can.
