Mama Rose is one of those roles I've "collected" for 40 years. I'll travel to see someone interesting's take on the role. So sorry to not have seen Angela Lansbury do it...(ever my favorite.) There hasn't been one that I wasn't intrigued by...(but if you've been reading my posts here, I'm a pretty easy audience.). I have enjoyed all the recent Broadway divas, and usually their standbys as well...) A couple real notables: Joanne Worley at in Pittsburgh, (I think) with Lenny Wolpe as her Herbie...and I just saw him in Drood at Goodspeed. Beth Leavel at MUNY (her husband Adam Heller was her Herbie.) Karen Mason and Sally Mayes.  And I've seen two Black Roses: Leslie Uggams and E Faye Butler in Chicago.  
I will see Audra, but haven't decided whether to sell a kidney or rob a Brinks truck to get there.

I'd like to thank everyone who has shared their stories from the past. I only got into this fetish/hobby about 5-7 years ago, and sadly I missed the heyday before social media and apps, when Craigslist and the Gaiety reigned supreme. Being on the shy side, I'm slowly learning the ropes and have gained enough confidence to venture out and make my own memories. I'm inspired and encouraged by the stories told here and by the nice guys I've met along the way. Thank you, and keep them coming!

Got tickets.  I think she'll be the actress to beat for the TONY.
Audra can act.  She's transitioned effortlessly from stage to TV to film. 
My concern is her voice being right for the role.  I'm not sold based on what I've heard her sing so far, but I'm willing to be wrong.  I saw her in Ragtime, so I know she can play crazy.  Those chops I'm not worried about.
I'm also interested in seeing who's going to be her Herbie and Louise.  Lots of strong choices out there.
 
I agree, she was awful.  She started the show at a 10 and had nowhere to go from there.
By the time the show was over, the scenery, curtains and front row had been chewed ragged.

At least you have reasonable counter arguments worthy of and answer. That is why I engaged with you. Others if not most, just have mockery, name-calling, cliche slogans they've been indoctrinated to memorize, but have no logical or reasonable explanations. Just accusations of "YOU HATE" or "YOU'RE RACIST", "YOU'RE A NAZI", "YOU'RE A FASCIST" etc... etc...

As we approach the worst month of the year, it’s worth looking back at how our community used to be. Long ago, when Pride marches were just about gaining the same rights as all Americans, it was a respectable cause, and gays and lesbians were actually clothed and acted with decency. 
Contrast that to the kink-obsessed, hyper-sexual clown show it has become now, and you can see how far our “community” has fallen.  
The people you see in these pictures would be horrified at what has become of their movement today. They never wanted to push their sexuality on anyone, least of which children, and missing entirely from the picture was the trans mafia and “gender queer” crowd enticing minors to permanently alter their bodies. 
I seriously doubt we can get back to this place, before we lose all we've fought for and gained. We've already seen the backlash begin because of the "Alphabet Squad's" behavior!

I met my first masseur this weekend. I knew from doing research here that he had a partner at the same address. No sign of the partner when I arrived. Midway though the "massage," the masseur mentions he has a partner who also does massage.  At the end, I asked if I would get to meet him.  The provider called him in, and I got to say hello.  We enjoyed a threeway kiss. It was very nice. 
Oddly enough,  in one of my stories, the narrator discovered his sex partner's husband is home. My experience definitely had a couple moments that mirrored my story. It is very hot in real life.

That is correct NewDad. he does not have social media nor a significant following in the gay community as you mentioned. He’s just an incredible looking man who is comfortable in his own skin and doesn’t mind sharing his significant giftedness with an a group of appreciative men who can help him financially. I think he’s an incredible guy. Glad that he is willing to share himself with us!

Guys, Matt was not playing around with the headliner last night.  JD is one of the most beautiful men that has graced the Adonis lineup.  Still stunning, body to die for, and a grower tool that satisfied! And such an incredibly sweet and natural guy. Comfortable and at ease just making men happy! If you missed him, I am truly sorry!
Plus, Matt had an incredible lineup! All the guys listed didn’t show but there were plenty of dancers to go around and anything to satisfy the craving you might. I was talking with someone else and there really were all kinds of guys in the room (laughingly, we commented - unless you want them to look like they’re 15 or they still need to eat a sandwich! None of the Adonis guys fit that bill!)  Just so many beautiful men of various heights, body types, color tones, hair types.  Just something for everyone and I was tired by the time I went home.  I still played with my regulars but I added some new talent to my roster and they were delicious!
Every Adonis is fun for me but some nights are just more special.  Last night was fire!!!
