I have met him several times - and although my experiences with him were generally positive, I did start to see the patterns of manipulation begin once we had established an even very limited relationship. He would text me out of the blue asking for money. He would ask for “an advance” on our next visit. These are red flags for me, and I would shut them down immediately - but he would wait for a period of time and then try again. When he was told “no” again, he eventually gave up. Our last exchange was a little terse because his frustration began to show. At times, he seems really desperate for money.
 
Based on the story you told, I can understand how his personality can play right into someone like you, since you seem to be a giver/pleaser. He can be disarmingly endearing in a childlike way since he always seems happy, smiley and easy-going - almost like a big, goofy kid trapped in the body of a bodybuilder. But regardless of these qualities, he has already shown you who he is. Repeatedly.

One of my requirements when I hire is that I see some face pics of the guy before we meet.
 
I know there are some escorts who refuse to post any face pics. And others who refuse to provide them if asked.
 
But as I read posts in the Forums - I sometimes see glowing comments about some escorts I would never consider because there are no face pics to see before meeting - and those could be missed opportunities.
 
“Good-looking” is in the eye of the beholder. I like various types of men - so I am not stuck on a “type”.

I think you’re going to get replies to your post telling you to only meet providers with good reviews On Daddy’s Review Site - and that’s solid advice. But I will try to provide some extra thoughts:
 
1) Pay attention in these forums. You will get information (in the Deli section in particular) about providers who have no reviews on the site.
 
2) If you don’t already, use the Search function in the forums to look up possible threads on a provider you are considering.
 
3) Don’t be afraid to start a thread in the Deli section asking about a specific provider. You will see many threads simply titled “411 on xxxxProvider”. You might be surprised that some Forum members have already had experience they can share about the provider that interests you.
 
4) Regarding the catfishing problem - try to think what a Catfisher would do when placing an ad - Some red flags commonly found in ads that are too good to be true could include:
 
- Very little information is provided in the ad. A catfisher is typically not going to take the time to fill out a lot of the question fields in the ad. He is also not going to write multiple paragraphs about himself. Most fake ads tend to look alike - a few great pictures with little ad copy provided.
 
- Speaking of pictures, if there is just one or two pictures, that can be a red flag. Headless pictures of a spectacular body are also common in fake ads.
 
- Pay attention to the date the ad was created. Many fake ads are “new” - and as is discussed often in the Forums - a guy creates an ad on Monday and by Wednesday he has three five-star reviews on the ad - that is unlikely to be a real provider.

It’s simple and designed for them to do it correctly.

His ad listed him as in Vegas yesterday.
 
He was apparently visiting Vegas - but just changed his location to say he was in Vegas.
 
That’s a pet peeve of mine. If they’re “just visiting”, they should say so - and post their dates that they are visiting. It would save a lot of us some time.
