Why did they put Oklahoma is OK on their license plates?

A tall, built, beautiful blond man is going to have people trying to charm him no matter where he is located.

Seriously, I love living in Austin, but I do pretty much stick to the Texas trifecta -- Dallas, Houston and Austin. (San Antonio occasionally.) Venture 20 miles outside of the radius of these metropolitan areas and you are quickly reminded that you are in TEXAS. The rednecks are very real, but pretty easy to avoid if you ignore State politics. (That's when you get smacked in the face about where you are really living.)

    Niles' Weekly Register - April 9, 1836
"A gentleman from Nacogdoches, in Texas, informs us, that, whilst there, he dined in public with Col. [Davey] Crockett, who had just arrived from Tennessee. The old bear-hunter, on being toasted, made a speech to the Texians, replete with his usual dry humor. He began nearly in this style: 'I am told, gentlemen, that, when a stranger, like myself, arrives among you, the first inquiry is -- what brought you here? To satisfy your curiosity at once as to myself, I will tell you all about it. I was, for some years, a member of congress. In my last canvass, I told the people of my district, that, if they saw fit to re-elect me, I would serve them faithfully as I had done; but, if not, they might all go to h---, and I would go to Texas. I was beaten, gentlemen, and here I am.' The roar of applause was like a thunder-burst."

I know a gay Buddhist. You won't be the only one in the state. Most people will leave you to your own devices if you remember to MYOB, and don't ask how many acres or bulls they own. Yes, it may feel as if you're living in a steam bath in the summer, but you don't have to shovel humidity. Welcome to Texas.

Don't mention "Steers" or "Queers" in Texas and you'll be fine. Them's fighting words in the lone star state.

Michigan has natural beauty. You need to be able to tolerate the cold to appreciate living there. Summers and fall are wonderful, and with it being on the western edge of the eastern time zone, summer daylight until past 9:30 pm. Sunsets on Lake Michigan rival California and Hawaii, and for those morning people, a sunrise across one if it's many lakes is not to be missed. Second in the US for the most boats.

The secret to Midwest living, each winter, spend a week (or two) in Hawaii, and/or a week (or two) in Florida. Such a nice break. That's why they call us snowbirds.

Congrats on the new position. I too moved a lot during the early years of my work life. Texas being a stop for a few years. Living there, I missed the change of seasons, and learned I'd rather put up with a Midwest winter to enjoy the summers, than suffer through a Texas summer for a moderate winter. But, that's just me. Plus, we have all the water in the Midwest. Best of luck.

LOL. There's definitely two types of people. I hate cold and snow with every fiber of my being. I will happily tolerate a Texas summer to avoid that. Actually, I kind of enjoy and look forward to it.

I recall reading somewhere that the production team is acutely aware of the mortality risk with four leads over 75, and the stars apparently really enjoy doing the show and were pushing to do more seasons sooner while they still can.
Have to say I was impressed by Jane Fonda standing up on the beach from a sitting position without using her hands given she's had a double hip replacement.

This sounds like fair advice for dealing with anyone: Be respectful and he will be more inclined to do what you desire. Meanwhile, I'm finding amusement in imagining scenarios in which someone steals a massage table. Was it a hold-up in downtown Matawan as he was leaving a Victorian home? Or was it a client who walked out with it under his shirt?

    @Mocha,

Remaining alive and still escorting for ten years is a pretty low bar to set. You may have more street smarts, but ... [typed and erased a pretty nasty and piercing rebuttal, but that's not what I'm about / total waste of my time / drumming up negativity - you have to live with yourself, and that would seem to anyone on the forum to be punishment enough - I'm sorry you lack content and peace in your life; that sucks]

No one has ever tried to not pay me for what I provide. I am respectful to my clients, and thankfully, they generally treat me very well.

Walter Cronkite on his sailboat years ago during my boating days when he spent some time at our marina. It was a totally surreal experience. When he spoke to you and referenced you by name it made you feel as though you were part of a newscast! I did help him with his lines the day that he left.

And that's the was way it was.... really!

You have a right to feel how you wish.

However, just consider that it probably isn't about you; maybe he's been stiffed before, and he has decided that he must count before leaving for his own peace of mind - it sucks to feel taken advantage of and I can see how he might just be protecting himself.

I don't count the donation near my clients, and I have been shorted before... I leave myself open to this, but I think the gesture of my trust certainly matters to some clients who treat me very kindly and generously.

I very much doubt it. He is quite a well known model, so if he was doing this on the side, I think he would use photos that wouldn't trace back to him. Either way, Jeff is based on Florida (based on his social media). The ID verification means the escort has sent a picture of his ID to Rentmen, but as others here have said before - that doesn't mean the pictures are his. A good example is MascFitStud in Philly who is photo AND ID verified, yet uses a range of other people's photos of white guys (including pornstar Reese Rideout), yet acknowledges in his ad that he is Latin (and anyone who has met him says the photos are not of him).

Agree WHAT a total A-hole! He should stop seeing clients altogether! Maybe he'll read this and take it to heart. Maybe he'll give us all a break and stop taking appointments and just find one desperate naive unsuspecting dude he can live with who'll support him for the rest of his life. (212 555-2742)
