  1. Recovering from ankle surgery at present. No weight on it first two weeks when in cast, and using a knee scooter to get anywhere. Now in a boot for the last month and with physical therapy (twice a week), slowly began to put weight on it if wearing the boot, and have progressed to walking around to house. Finally was able to get into the shower a couple of weeks ago, They will now start weaning me off the the boot. Wearing a brace will be the following phase. I'm fortunate my brother came to stay with me for the surgery in October till now. In the beginning, he did everything. Cooked, shopped, laundry, drove me to appointments, etc.. Now, I'm feeling much better with less pain, and more mobility. The parking garage was the worst test as the path to my car is on an incline, and almost wiped out on the scooter when going down hill, and pushing myself up hill wasn't all that easy. When my neighbors see me rolling down the hall, always a smile, a kind word about my progress as we chat, and they always say to let them know if I need anything. They have become fans of my brother's dog, even the neighbor whom the dog barks at through the door since she began dropping the paper at my door. If only this hadn't happen when @tristanbaldwin was going to be in town. I texted my regrets I was unable to ask for any time, and he called with his sympathies.
  2. Variation I heard when two guys are pissing of a dock. One says the water is cold, the other says it's deep too.
  3. Opened for me as in his pics popped up. But, when I went to log in (at bottom of screen), I could sign in, but nothing displayed, not even those I follow. Weird.
  4. It hasn't been happening since that day. 🤷‍♂️
  5. As if I wasn't nervous enough hiring someone new, now I have to wonder if I pass their screening process. So long as it makes them feel safer, part of what hopefully will be a worthwhile meeting.
  6. The Detroit Institute of Arts says tickets should be reserved in advance. https://dia.org/visit#:~:text=Admission tickets should be reserved in advance.&text=Call (313) 833-7900 for tickets by phone. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detroit_Institute_of_Arts The Art Institute of Chicago requires advance reservations. https://www.artic.edu/visit
  7. I'm happy with TracFone. $199.00 {plus tax and fees, about $228) for one year of service with unlimited talk, text, and 24GB of data. Add on whenever you want to extend another year into the future, and 24 more GB of data.. (They recently raised data from 12 to 24 GB on the one year plan}. I'm good till July 2026 and have 71.25 GB data. I also have a TracFone as my separate burner phone. It's older, so I still get the old 3X bonus of talk, text, and data whenever I buy the one year card for $99 plus tax/fees. Pay cash for that. Not many stores have them, except Walgreens, but sometimes they're out of stock, so if I see them, I pick one up if I have the cash. I'm about 3 yrs into the future on that too.

  10. Noticed today that each time I click on a link (e.g. rent.men), and then come back here, I'm signed out. Not spending a lot of time away.
  11. if face time in the office is a requirement, pool of talent is smaller/local. Once face time is not required, pool of talent is global, and most likely less expensive for same skill set.
  12. At the top after you sign in, 3rd tab from left (About us: Forums; Reviews), hoover over reviews until the drop down menu appears, click on 3rd one down to get to older reviews.

  14. Perhaps, in the words of Willie Sutton, because that's were the money is.
  15. Switched to artificial years ago. Put it up when you want, take it down when you want. No more being dependent on how long it will be before needles start falling. Have dropped down in size of the artificial over the years. Have two 3-foot, and one 4-foot tree. Can do a single, or space them out.
  16. Not exactly fitting room fun, more physical flirting. I was getting fitted for a uniform for my new job. Came out of the dressing room onto the sales floor where the guy used the soap to measure where to take pants in. He very slowly, what I assume, drew a line down along my ass crack to what seemed just about under where it met the leg seams.
  17. Being in my 60's, and Nordic decent, swam nude HS gym class, took sauna's nude. Never bothered me, and trust me, others had no reason to be envious.
  18. Small wastebaskets in bathroom don't work for me. Use same size in kitchen and bathroom.
  19. Saw an ad for him earlier, but not much response.
  20. Waste basket in bedroom. Rectangle garbage container between vanity and toilet in bathroom, and can under sink in kitchen. Nothing in the living room.
  21. My mom was a great baker of whatever was picked, or on sale. Wish I could tell you the recipe, but I never knew the ingredients. With apples, she made a cobbler type thing with I guess an oatmeal and brown sugar topping that came out crispy.
  22. My favorite meets are when talk and play are good.
