PUBLIC APOLOGIES I just watched a short doc on apologies, of many different kinds. (Explained on Netflix) I want to hear your views about our (American) increasing appetite in the zeitgeist, mostly on SM or TV, to hear / read public words of regret when a public figure has done something in their past (recent or ancient) that was by today’s standard, offensive or thoughtless or racist or misogynistic or “too soon” or too ___phobic… Do you stand up for all objectionable behavior you hear about, or does it tend to be prioritized by the personal insult to your own demographic/race/gender/ sexuality ? What number of years is too long to care? Do you even look for the celebrity apologies? The pundits? The politicians? The star CEO’s? Do these public apologies work? Does timing count more than sincerity? Who do you think succeeded with a public apology? Who’s would you still care to hear? Who blew it? Who just…. moved on ? I’m sorry… I just had to ask. Please share…

Ask. No mask means no hire today, that’s all. Tell him you’ll revisit his profile again when local case numbers go down.

My first was the footman at Belle Watling’s place. 😊

Edibles in California are all marked with mg of THC and/or CBD, (and strain if known) I buy flower and make my own green dragon (Everclear) a few drops in 2oz water BudTenders at your favorite dispensary can be helpful. Tell them your avg usage and your expectations about duration and such. I find Sativa more social, vs. Indica more dozey (escort vs massage 🤔…? ) Hybrids always a roll of the dice, all depends on how you roll

If you are renting this new place do tests first - use a strong smelling liquid like ammonia or vinegar. If rinsing that down the drain ends with no lingering smell, it’s probably clear. I like using one of the Home Depot 5gal buckets 1/2 filled with water, in the shower for the first two passes, where solids may be present, and dump that into the toilet. Rinse the bucket. No more solid material? Good to go down a drain you know is clear for liquid. You should have a removable cover and hair catcher, both easy to find at any hardware store. If cover or strainer is fixed in place (only removable by a plumber) stick with the bucket…

What a shame it’s permanent. Wait, what?

Order of Providers in RentMen and RentMasseur Platforms
jeezifonly replied to + MysticMenace's topic in The Lounge
One other variable: Platinum Providers are always at the top, followed by the Gold. Then the basic members. Heads up: In upper two tiers, they do not have to be currently in your city to retain that position in line. If they are sketching in a visit to your city within 8 weeks or so, they will retain Available/Online status to multiple locales whenever they are logged in - even half way around the world, showing up in any/all locations that are listed as travel in the profile. It all takes getting used to. I always check mapping and his future travel plans. Obviously larger cities are going to have more of these phantoms, and if you live in a tri-city area it’s extra complicated. LA/Weho/OC/Palm Springs for me in SoCal, for instance. There are some long-time providers who keep the basic membership because they have repeat clientele and don’t need the extra exposure of Gold or Platinum. I like Dilfs and some good ones don’t show up until the last page or two. -
saying hello when you see an escort out socially

I did once see a provider I knew at a craft store, geeking out in the yarn aisle with his mom. I don’t think he even saw me, but it does explain the argyle jockstrap. -

China bans effeminate men from TV-to protect revolutionary culture.
jeezifonly replied to Walker1's topic in The Lounge
The 50’s 60’s ‘70’s when you could be thrown in jail for having a quiet conversation with the wrong man? When we invoke the personal joys of the past, it can be dismissive of the misery and destruction caused by religion, law and popular opinion at that time. Lots more straight men now are breaking the masculine stereotype and being comfortable with some degree of androgyny. Soft boys can get plenty of straight girls. Gay men still run the gamut of social behavior perceptions, but even fem’s are generally less scary than we were to SWM. I like that sign of evolution. It’s all part of the continuum of gaining true equality. As for now, China seems to be focused on media. Who knows if it’s cracking a door open to more aggressive cultural and legal blocks ahead. If China decides at some point it doesn’t want to do business with US on account of LGBTQ acceptance in our culture, you can expect money will win the day, and neighbors will be after the $10,000 bounty to round us up. Lets put a pin in this story and see if it goes further. Maybe it won’t. I hope. -
If a reimagining needs to have the same title that all the other “reimaginings” prior to it, then I guess “imagine” “imagination” and “imaginary” must mean something other than what it always has before streaming content made it its own term. It’s marketed as Cinderella. You want to reimagine the story? Tell us the harrowing tale of the Fairy Godmother and the sacrificial bargain he made in order to get the wand that bestows The Fab onto a disadvantaged, plain girl with potential. For me, last time a fairy tale had a real, intelligent, hilarious re-working while keeping signature moments of the story, was Sondheim’s 1986’s Into The Woods, with Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Red Riding Hood all taking new darker shapes, interwoven with each other for the creation of a new moral to the story Children will listen.

Proud union member here, who has sat on both Mgmt and Labor sides of different negotiating tables over the years. Today is not to celebrate the “entrepreneurs” Today is not the day to say thanks to “investors” or “shareholders” Today is to honor the largely invisible workforce of laborers, mostly paid by the hour, to do the jobs that shareholders and entrepreneurs simply couldn’t handle 40hrs/wk. LABOR is the backbone of our economy. From nursing, to road repair, from electricians to food processors and baggage handlers. Transportation, manufacturing, sanitation, entertainment, retail, and hospitality are all reliant upon workers willing to work for wages rather than glory, often in physically exhausting jobs, some with significant personal risk to health and longevity. To all the workers: Huzzah!

Fine tuning the contrasting sequence is important to the way the joke lands. Bravo @gallahadesquire

This is silly fun Better silly fun if you like Cecily Strong and Keegan Michael Key. Greater Silly Fun 🤩 if you know the source material being parodied. Kristin Chenoweth needs to submit to the fact that she is now Beth Grant

Paying for food up front? Pretty safe bet. The food cannot walk away on its own between payment and consumption. I would have to want that provider pretty bad… Like Tommy’s-chili-cheese-fries at 2am bad.

The two 4-handed sessions I have had don’t make me want a third. 4 hands great for the sex bit, but body work not choreographed in tandem? I found it impossible to either enjoy or to work with the masseur to help release knots. I’d rather put the money towards a different service. Anybody got the key for enjoyment of this?

Hmmm. https://www.vox.com/platform/amp/2020/7/28/21333345/uighurs-china-internment-camps-forced-labor-xinjiang We know the Chinese Government has been using “re-education” sites for Muslims… Is the TV ban a warning shot to all gay men there? -
Properly? No white shoes after Labor Day. 😁

Not so different from an engagement ring, really…

I’ve never had a disappointing massage at any Burke Williams. I ask for a male, because the broader points of contact of larger arms and hands feels better. I never expect anything sensual beyond the sensation of deliberate touch. They were closed for such a long period last year there’s no guarantee a recommended bodyworker would still be around. Take your chances. I went to the OC location a few years ago and my masseur was blind. Fantastic session, in the dark. Breathe, and enjoy!

My appreciation for Lycra comes from working backstage at ballet and dance concerts. Much like a car wreck, you can’t look at it, but you can’t look away…
