The point when discussing prices is not that whether you or I find it ridiculous that people pay way too much for a handbag (or for a provider) -- the point it that some people actually do pay the ridiculous prices.  No matter how much you and I point out that Birkin Bags should cost substantially less is going to have any effect whatsoever on their actual price now or in the future. 

Why is there often a general assumption providers want "more" clients? I've known providers who want to limit the number of people that they see because they have a regular full-time job they are focused on, and seeing a few clients is just frosting on the cake.
Also some wealthy men -- who subscribe to the idea that a provider who is only seeing several clients a month is statistically "healthier" than a provider who is seeing as many clients as possible -- find higher rates correlate with what they are looking for in a provider. 
 

One thing I don't understand. Guy after guy I've seen on here for years will contact an escort, take up the escorts time asking questions then states "when I go to his area next summer", "I contacted him but I wasn't prepared"  and other statements to this effect. Why in the hell contact a total stranger knowing what he is in business for with no follow through? Then seem dumbfounded when the escort ghosts you or comes back with a snarky comment. 
Guys. Get it together. If you are lonely needing attention get an animal.

I do not recommend.  He was a sweaty, shaky mess.  I’m not saying he was tweaking out on something, but I’m definitely not not saying that.  Just a very weird vibe from the moment he opened the door.  When we were getting dressed he kept prompting me for compliments on his body.  Super awkward.
We were done in 35 minutes, and I paid him the full amount for 60 minutes.  He counted the cash in front of me and he said “Can I get a tip?”.  I said “nope, not for 35 minutes”, and I left.
Total waste of time and money.

This is so true! I too am 30+ years older than the guys I hire (but don’t look it) . I marvel at how hot some of the guys are that I’ve been with, and repeatedly, just by being kind, humorous, respectful, clean, interesting and interested! And being a good tipper helps too! So yeah….do not let your age hold you back!

Totally agree on all counts.  There are a lot of hot guys out there that will treat you like gold if you do the same.  I coming down off the high of a great encounter today!

I don’t have a specific recommendation but just wanted to comment. I tend not to go below a certain age. I am 71. I always ask if older is OK, I state my age and I’ve had pretty good luck with that. In the encounters that I’ve had it seems the more important issue is are you well groomed, decently dressed and clean. I have had a couple of meetings with guys who I’m sure would never be interested outside of a paid encounter but who went the extra mile, were quite pleasant and complimentary. The kinder and nicer you are the better- treating them like a person instead of an object of your desire…ask about their life, etc. I avoid any ad where the profile language is rough, aggressive or anything like that but that’s just my own personal preference. 

Again let's be clear: Anything you post on this forum (or any other) WILL be seen by the provider. Know when you post that it absolutely positively WILL be seen by the person you are posting about. 
And that includes PMs. Just because they're called "private messages" doesn't mean they're private. Once you press "send," it's out there.

That helps.   But let me ask you a different question
I'm still not sure if it was a post on the forum or a PM.   But let's assume the former (since that's the more plausible scenario since PMs would be private": If you like the guy and have a great relationship with him, is it possible that someone else is being unreasonable in their expectations and/or review.   It's been my observation that if a guy has a lot of fans and a single bad review, it might have been a "one off bad experience" OR it may have been an unreasonable client.   There are documented instances of the latter on this forum. Again, if it was a public posting, there's nothing that hides it from the provider.   If it's public, and you like him, would you be inclined to show it to him to give him a chance to respond?   Interestingly, in one of the documented examples I referred to above, it was the negative reviewer who shared his post with the provider with a "nah nah nah nah boo boo...look what I've done to you"   And some remember that it backfired big time on the guy with the negative post. so, I disagree.   There are a lot of providers in this forum (and I say the more the better) who can track and participate and/or respond to public posts at will.   I have absolutely no problem with drawing their attention to a public post that might be adverse toward them so they can be aware of it. In short, this forum may be like a private members only locker room, but if so, it has glass walls
Now, if it's a PM, then I have a different view, but then I stand by my earlier comment that we shouldn't presume privacy in anything on the internet
