No one’s suggesting sex workers should lose agency, or be forced to accept every client regardless of comfort or preference. Of course empowerment and boundaries matter. But there’s also a distinction worth exploring between professionalism and preference-driven selectivity.
When someone positions themselves as a sex worker but only engages clients who meet their personal taste, it does start to resemble monetized dating more than labor. And for clients—especially those older or with non-normative bodies—it’s easy to spot when you’re being evaluated as a desirable conquest versus respected as a paying client.
It’s not about entitlement. It’s about clarity. If a worker is curating clients for attraction, that’s their right—but let’s not confuse that with what many consider professional sex work, which historically was about providing a service, not auditioning partners.
Empowerment includes transparency. And rejection isn’t the issue—the framing is.

I actually really get off on serving bigger men and older men.

Very interesting ad...I noticed he is coming to Atlanta.  But as I read the text of his ad I found some of it off-putting.    I don't mind providers that are explicit in how they will respond to a potential client, but making blanket statements like "It is rude..." or in the case of a response by another provider in Atlanta "it is standard for a deposit and you to provide and uber"...just makes me say "Block".
 
 

Why make a booking first and then say what are you into and not into? So they can then say "I can't do that" and cancel the booking? I said all of that and said at the end "Is this something you're interested in? We can book right away".
Your way is like booking a table at a restaurant, showing up and saying "I'm vegan" and the restaurant going "This is an outback we don't have vegan food". 
My way is calling the restaurant "Hey I'm Vegan, do you accommodate that?" so they can answer whether they do or not before making any reservation.

My point is as a group we do sometimes “pile on” in a negative manner, kind of a herd mentality, it does bother me.

Nonsense? Recent estimates are that 3.8 million adults are trafficked for forced sexual exploitation and 1.0 million children are trafficked for commercial sexual exploitation. There is a manner of making him disappear, stop coming to this site.  To chase someone away because you disagree with them is what is toxic.  You can walk away and not turn back and let those others who are getting something out of this back and forth continue their ping pong game.  So this is proibably my last post here, but tolerance for the right of others to express an opinion which is different from yours used to be a foundation of the United States and I hate to see that disappearing in and out of this forum. 

I don’t think you should presume you speak for 99% of the forum? Price hardly “ends” the conversation for many of us here. 
@Devah offers something that yes, is out-of-the-box for most of our providers/posters. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve to be heard, and he does not deserve to get dissed and be called a “troll”.
