  1. Wow, I hadn't heard that. Maybe it's because Belgium has a strong and active immigration department and social care but a lot of Romanians here get jobs at building construction companies (don't know the proper English word, ah, contractor, I think). Most of these companies' personell now consists for a large part out of Polish men. In general they are experienced as hard working men that don't complain. The last contractor I worked with was a Belgium native and he went and learnt Polish because it gave him more opportunities to hire these Polish guys for his contractor jobs. Obviously there are always people that fall through the cracks, but walking around in Brussels I see a lot less homeless people out on the streets than in London and Berlin. I was recently talking to a board member of one of the social care institutions and apparently people even get houses or apartments here virtually rent-free if they are unable to get a job (because of language barriers). But they only get these benefits if they agree to take Dutch language classes and actively apply for jobs with the help of the social worker assigned to their case. Are those Romanians generally gay themselves that are found in gay places and do that? Or is there another reason they target gay establishments?
  2. Thanks, I'm gonna take the entire course. Hahaha.
  3. Thanks for the advice! I had already started the treatment before I read it, though. So I'll finish it now.
  4. So uhm... Do I not take it, then? She did explain to me that because it was Friday evening it wasn't possible to get a stool sample tested. I would've had to bring it in on Monday and since I'd already been in pain since last Monday, and based on the symptoms she decided it was most probably a bacterial infection. I've noticed a big discrepancy between what is told to the patients here in Belgium by campaigns to raise awareness (things like antibiotics shouldn't be used unless absolutely necessary) and how doctors prescribe them here (quite quickly I would say: last time I had a bit of a sore throat and she preventatively prescribed antibiotics. The throat cleared up on its own. I didn't take them.)
  5. It was bright red but barely visible.
  6. Yikes! So I've just come back from the doctor. The only thing that gave her pause was the blood. The rest of my symptoms were okayish (mainly because I wasn't nauseous or vomiting I think). She prescribed an antibiotic.
  7. Well, there seems to be a bit of blood in my stool (if I'm seeing it correctly, not entirely sure). I'm seeing my doctor later today. I don't have a fever as far as I know. I'm not even nauseous, just tired with really bad cramps. I've been fasting since yesterday which has kept the actual diarrhea to a minimum but the cramps are quite bad. Luckily it was a slooow day at work. Just now buying some yoghurt But darn it, I'm going to Paris this weekend (leaving tomorrow morning) so I hope I'll feel better.
  8. Thanks for posting this. It does give you pause. I wonder if the rise in the spread of other STI's could have anything to do with the use PreP and the subsequent disuse of condoms. I know that not everyone who's on PreP stops using condoms. But there are also guys who do stop using them. The rise of using PreP and the rising of other STI's normally also somewhat halted by condoms makes me wonder.
  9. Alright, going to see my doctor tonight. If I fast I'm alright but the minute food gets in my system my gut goes haywire (I fasted yesterday). Interested what she'll say though. GP's here in Belgium rarely do any actual testing, they just listen to your symptoms, prescribe medicine. If that doesn't work they try a different medicine. If that still doesn't work they'll MAYBE do a test. Which I've always found to be weird. Fully vaccinated! Even got my HPV shots.
  10. Thanks for the tips! It was my first time ever and I'm still debating whether I enjoyed it or not. I know that I don't enjoy getting rimmed myself AT ALL. It's actually really a turn-off for me. It could very well just be coincidence. It's not the first time I've had diarrhoea for a week or so out of the blue. (Even when I was not having any sex at all) My stomach seems to be made from steel, but with my gut I have to be a little more mindful of what I eat. I've not been to the doctor yet, as they only look at it more closely if it lasts for more than a week. I did go buy some medicine at the drug store. I rimmed him last Wednesday and the diarrhoea only started Monday-Tuesday, so to me it doesn't seem related?
  11. Well damn, I rimmed a guy last week for the first time ever in my life and I've had diarrhoea for the past four days now. UUUUUUUUUUGH Well, I work in watersupplies and our lab people say that our bodies can handle these kind of bacteria pretty well. We just have diarrhoea while our body adjusts and makes antibodies. After that we're good to go again. But I don't know about the one mentioned in the article specifically but they say it lasts for about a week No more rimming for me.
  12. There was a quiz! And I passed! And OMG... There were about three cute guys in my class but the rest of the building was absolutely PACKED with eye candy hahaha. I kept going "Oooh, hey" every time a gorgeous guy walked past. It was in the harbour so there were a lot of harbour guys taking courses. Most of them with strong, lean physiques. Hahaha, that is ACTUALLY a brand used at the company I work for! Everytime I see "TROJAN" printed on the machinery I have an internal giggle.
  13. My most preferred method is Whatsapp as you can have your texts be as long as you like (like an email) and can receive media (pictures, video) all in the same app. Also, Whatsapp has no costs when texting to a foreign number. I see more and more escort profiles saying to text or Whatsapp them rather than email. That they'll be quicker to reach that way. The other day I saw a profile stating to only CALL or email, aboslutely NO texts! I found that a bit odd.
  14. You guys, this is coming to you live. I'm doing a required all day training for work. It's about safety in industrial working envorinments so there's some guys here who do mostly manual labour and they're big, strong, sexy and a little intimidating. And right across from me is a cute cub who I'd love to share a cuddle with. Oh deeeaaar, am I objectifying these guys? Hahaha
  15. Oooh, I'll be in Barcelona next week. But I booked an AirBnB so can't host... (It's a room in an apartment where the owner lives too). Next time I'm booking a hotel. Thanks for the tips!
  16. On the old site escorts could just delete any guestbook entries. When the Hunqz site was launched, at first that functionality was gone. They couldn't delete entries themselves. But I wanted to know if this was still the case, since the system has been updated several times since then. So turns out escorts can't delete reviews on their profile BUT they can hide them from other users. Which, in effect, is exactly the same as deleting it. Well, that just made all the entries completely useless. Because any bad experience will just be removed by the escort. Of course, if there's a steady stream of positive reviews then that's a good thing. But I've now become wary of a profile that does have good reviews, but not a lot of them and most of them with months between them.
  17. From what I've seen in articles, STI's are on the rise in Europe as well. Did you know that the French actually didn't have an official word for "French kissing" until about 2015?? That year the word "galocher" was added to the French dictionary, which is a slang word for kissing with tongue. (A galoche seems to also be a type of boot. No idea how that became the colloquial term for French kissing ). Me, I absolutely live to galocher! About the bareback miscommunication: I was able to clear it up with the guy by writing this marvelously and obiously non-native speaker phrase: "Je fais le baiser toujours avec un préservatif." Which literally means: "I always do the fucking with a condom."
  18. It's interesting you say that. I have noticed that when browsing Rentmen in the US, I seem to come across more profiles that have "ask me" in the safe section. Whereas in Europe it's a much less frequent occurence (that I've seen, anyway).
  19. So! I'm going to Paris this weekend and have some fun activities lined up. Alas, the Brazilian guy has gone completely silent again after I missed his videocall. But I had paid for the bustickets so why not go anyway? Paris, je viens à vous!
  20. It'll be my first time in 20 years being in Paris. I'm interested to see how I'll find it. I love the French language though not always the French mindset.
  21. Well, we got a date planned although I have to be honest that this communication has left me somewhat unexcited for the date. I'll be in Paris for the weekend. So I can brush up on my language skills!
  22. Oh hahaha, I was thinking it was an abbreviation or something. Of course it's just "not". Hahaha
  23. Thanks, I was able to sort it out... After typing it in French again. But his way of communicating does not excite me... :/ What does PAS mean?
  24. I contact a guy and he says: "We can be a good match, I guess. Nothing wrong with what you want." (I asked for vanilla sex with kissing) Then he completely misunderstands me (his first language is French) when I ask "I can come to you?" (As in, do you host). He thinks I'm asking for bareback (me cumming in him). So I say that he misunderstood and switch to French to ask him if we could have the date at his place. To which he only answers: "I don't do penetration without condom". As if he hadn't read my replies at all... I already feel like I'm pulling teeth here... Ugh.
  25. Quote from the site: "What we don't offer is erotic sexual bodywork this is nonsexual, legitimate body treatments. So please don't waste our guys time by inquiring about erotic." But ALL of the guys in every single picture are naked. Even the group pictures! I understand that being nude doesn't have to be inherently sexual but it does seem to give a mixed message.
