I’m a huge fan of documentaries, and Netflix has some really good ones. I’d wholeheartedly recommend “Murder By The Coast”. It’s a Spanish language documentary with subtitles, about the murder of teen Rocío Wanninkhof in 1999. I don’t want to give too much away, but the series focuses on the bias against the main suspect, the lesbian ex- partner of the murdered girls mother. It’s very engrossing with twists, and turns that keeps your attention. There is a follow-up documentary called “Dolores”. Again, I’d wholeheartedly recommend this one. This documentary covers what happened to everyone involved since the murders, and trials 20 years earlier. This one is on HBOMAX. I primarily watch documentaries, mysteries, police procedurals, but I’ll watch anything provided it has a story that hooks me. I’d also recommend any of the series based on Harlan Coben’s books, “Doctor Foster”, “Paranoid”, “The Puppet Master”, “Young Wallender”, “Sophie”, “The Ripper” among others. Covid saw me signing up for all sorts of streaming services. Now I subscribe to BritBox, Hulu, Netflix, HBOMAX, and not a streaming service, IrishBox. Gosh that brought back a memory! Back in uni, in a philosophy elective the assignments were to write your own obituary, plan your funeral, write your eulogy. I do remember for the funeral, I planned for a slide show on the altar after communion while “Don’t You Forget About Me” played. The prof said something like, “wow! you really want people ugly crying, don’t you!” 🤣

Everything has gone up. But my “holy sh*t!” moment happened yesterday. I needed a couple of things, one being eggs. At the register as the cashier was ringing everything up, I saw the eggs scan at $6.29! These were a regular dozen jumbos - nothing fancy, nothing organic, or free range, or name brand. I was well, and truly gobsmacked. 😮 I remember before covid a dozen jumbos were under $2 - and if on sale $.99 a dozen. Crazy! As an aside, I can remember my parents having conversations like this when I was child, and now having these same conversations myself, I feel positively ancient! BBD AKA Methuselah

I had a similar experience last summer during one of the 100+ weeks we had - I was chatting on the phone with a mate in Riyadh, I was moaning about the heat here, my mate replied “Wow! It’s actually hotter there than here by almost 15 degrees!” It’s just wrong when NYC is hotter than a desert. BBD

Inspired in part by the thread on “Porn Stars I Wish I Could Hire”, and in part by a conversation a little bit ago with a mate, (and fellow hobbyist), visiting Miami. Who is that provider(s), that tics your boxes, only to find as you read thru his ad that alas, he, and you are the same position! 😩 It’s happened to me on RM, SleepyBoy, and Hunqs - and it just happened to my mate in Miami. For you top hobbyists, who is the provider(s) that advertise as a top, that if you could, you would hire as a bottom? For my fellow bottom hobbyists, who is that bottom provider that if you could, you’d hire as a top? I don’t mean offering/paying more for the provider(s) to switch roles - more like you could wave a magic wand, (so to speak 😏), and for you, he is the role you want. For the sake of argument, location doesn’t matter. I think the term you use has a lot to do with context, and the audience, (maybe culture too). I’ve used passed, died, gone, etc. at different times. When I had to make calls after my mother died, with her siblings, I said something like “mum passed this afternoon”. More recently, I found out someone I grew up with died, and relaying the news to others we grew up with, it was more “I just found out Tessa died”. I don’t know that using passed or similar softens the blow but I suppose it’s viewed as a more genteel way of sharing the news. 🤷🏼‍♂️ BBD

I agree with you 100%. Regarding the whole “despite his occasional incarceration” thing, to that I’d add Derrick Atlas, and probably Jeremy Walker. As far as I know, neither Aspen or Jeremy are working (I believe each did at one point, with mixed reviews), and with Derrick working in Las Vegas, I guess that won’t be happening for me. BBD

Loss or slowing down of libido can result from many factors - it’s not strictly an age thing. Stress, other health conditions, medications, lifestyle choices, diet, emotional/mental health issues, et al. Just like there’s really no one cause, there’s also no one cure. For some, cialis/viagra/etc. do the trick, others use OTC supplements successfully, some require diet and/or lifestyle changes, and for others a medical plan with their doctor is needed. There are a number of doctors on this forum who can provide far more informative replies, on causes, treatments, etc.. You may want to run a search on here for libido, or ED, and have a read thru for some further information. BBD

This name is a blast from the past! I’m guessing there’s been another name change as none of the RM links in thus thread work? I remember much discussion about him on this forums previous incarnation. HRd to get a bead on him - he clearly scammed, but at the same time, there were, (are), some well regarded hobbyists have had great encounters. IIRC, he was a straight guy with limits too, yes? FWIW, he was, (is), a very hot guy, and very well equipped - as others have said, it is a pity as he has all one normally needs to be a 5 star provider. @alexslaveboy, may I ask you to PM me his IG? A mate of mine who is a fellow hobbyist is in Miami now for a long weekend, and asked if I had any recommendations. We share similar tastes in men, and often swap intel. Anyway, I haven’t been in Miami since the Oct/Nov prior to covid. But I did engage the above referenced gent, (and would engage again 👍🏻), and recommended him. @MscleLovr True enough - identifying as Russian may not play well these days. Rather like how many Iranians after the fall of the Shah, started calling themselves Persian to escape association with the Ayatollahs. Also, back in the days of the Soviet Union many ethnic Russians were moved to, or moved themselves to the other “republics” that made up the old USSR. So #8 could be both - ethnically Russian, but Ukrainian born.
