Once you send out a picture you have no control over what someone does with it.  Better paranoid than sorry.

Call us paranoid if you like, but I'm not sure that not wanting to send selfies of oneself is really paranoia. What if I'm a closeted doctor fearful of being outed, what if I'm locally known, what if there's a high chance of being recognized and my private life exposed that I'm trying to keep secret? I don't think it's paranoia to not want my picture 'out there'. Many people don't want their pics even up on social media. If someone is out already or just doesn't mind anyone finding out about their sessions, all power to them. It doesn't mean that those not like that are paranoid. 
I realize as @SouthOfTheBorder said, that I could be secretly being recorded. That's not in my control. The risk that is in my hands is all that I can control and nothing else. There's a gamble being taken by both the provider and the client, and both acknowledge that. Trying to think of ways to protect everyone is a smart idea, but I don't think requiring a photo does much to really provide security. If it's to identify who's at the door, then asking for a description is as secure as asking for a photo. Again, at the end of the day, both sides are accepting a certain level of risk.

You guys are paranoid. Maybe the provider just wants to know who he is inviting into his home.

Generally, my response is "no, thank you."  And it's a deal breaker for me if it's a requirement.

this is where things go sideways on the client end. He’s a professional & may capitalize on a work trip for more money & contacts. It’s smart.  While RM is public information, I feel like this is a bit like looking at someone’s phone - just don’t do it. 

If you have plans with him why are you still browsing RM?  Perhaps he should be offended

I sort of felt he was teasing us…he wants to tell us who it is but wants to be coaxed. Telling us it’s a celebrated porn star and the like. Quite a bit of drama over this. Just get it over with otherwise what’s the big deal?

I’ve been fortunate to have extremely fit companions, as in being fit is their everything.  Sometimes between the trips to Brazil for over 100 different blood work tests, custom vitamins, shots of whatever etc.  They look great but their dicks don’t work.  They cant even pee right and probably have prostate issues.  Great abs though….

This is correct. The age field is static, so it does not automatically update when someone ages another year or four. And for the record, the youngest age available in the field is 18. Perhaps the guy was 19 when he signed up and he hasn't updated the field since, or perhaps he's "young at heart" and would like to still think he is 19. Who knows?
I just had my birthday last week and duly added a year to the age in my rentmen ad, but had to do that manually.

His claim to have been to 21 countries also sounds improbable for a 19 year old who doesn't appear to be well-educated or a member of a wealthy family.

The ad does NOT state that. You may infer it. But as @jgoo points out the provider may have signed up at 19 yo and never changed it, or he may choose to make it 19 every year. You don't have enough information here to state he was online as an underage.

With this attitude, you'll be occupied day and night reporting all the "39" year old men who have more than 21 years of experience in this industry.

Rentmen might not care but rentmen comes under the laws of Germany.  Even though the ages stated are obviously not correct, the ad does state that the provider joined rentmen when he was age 15. 
Prostitution in Germany is illegal for anyone under age 18.  The ad (shows the provider began advertising on rentmen at age 15 which could cause rentmen some problems with German authorities.
As a gesture of goodwill, I will contact rentmen and let them know of the error that should be corrected.    

Reached out to this young man on Rentmen. Two weeks later he replied with an outcall visit rate to me (I'm within 30-40 minutes of downtown LA) of $1000! "Madness" as Jason Bourne often says.
 

I can see all his pictures, and neither dick nor face are anything special. He needs better pictures, a new stage name, or both.
