You completely ignored my point. I'm not saying it's a "cash grab", nor am I complaining about the level of access my free account affords.
I am saying that if I were an escort paying to advertise, this change drastically changes the value of that much more expensive ad.  Far fewer people can see the photos most likely to generate a lead.  For RM to make that change without any notice or explanation is a huge disservice to their key customer base.

Sadly, the anti-trafficking laws (which do nothing for people being trafficked) ensure that no US-based publication will do escort ads as long as they're in effect.

RM is still charging $19.95/mo for new premium subscribers.....if members are lucky enough to have locked in a recurring auto-bill membership at the old $9.95, they should be grateful 😉........note to $9.95 members:  DON'T LET YOUR auto-bill payment get screwed up with an expiring card or similar card snafu at your end!!

would certainly be nice, but Hunqz et al are much oriented toward European providers and international destinations......North American-based clients looking for North American-based providers really only have Rentmen and not enough have even heard of Hunqz/Romeo.....

If you spend time watching "tiktok" you might see his ad about exercise training.
I do not know the name of his new company nor whether it is located in Los Angeles where he has lived for several years.
If I find the information to reach him or his company for "exercise training" I will post the appropriate link.
Those who recently saw him on "tiktok" saw him exercising and saw him motion the viewer to come to him.
It is a cute advertisement.  I hope he is successful with his new venture.

I’m going to disagree. I understand the frustration with “shoppers,” but guess what? Every business selling something has them. In the meantime, you’re asking someone to make a purchasing decision without being able to see the merchandise? Or paying for the privilege of shopping? No, I don’t think so. Clothed pictures are not the same.

If you want to make money off your images, then OnlyFans and your own paid access gallery are fine. As you seem to be doing. But if you’re selling access to the real thing, I think you need to be prepared to show what the real thing looks like. Just my opinion.

Rentmen is the largest provider advertising site in the U.S. and Canada.
Most of us already know that Rentmen recently put in new rules that require a fee from non advertisers (clients) in order to send in a review about an experience with a hired provider.  The fee is $240 yearly to rentmen, not to a provider.
This requirement of paying rentmen a fee to write a review does potential harm to clients and providers who use Rentmen because of the inability to warn other clients (via reviews) of good or bad experiences from a provider.
Moreover, there are some providers with fake photos and other dishonest claims advertising their services on rentmen.  Unless a client is willing to come up with $240 per year to give to rentmen, no review is allowed about the encounter between the client and the provider.  For the $240, a client is allowed to write reviews and watch some sort of animated video that are free on many world-wide sites.
Now we have a new strange requirement set up by rentmen.  I was advised by someone I know who advertises on rentmen that all advertisement photos that show any genitalia in the advertisement photos must be removed.
Such a requirement is bound to have a negative effect on providers who pay rentmen to advertise on their site.
Rentmen is making many negative rules for both their advertising clients and the readers of rentmen who pay to hire the providers paying rentmen.
I realize everyone wants to make money, however, the changes made by rentmen seem like a one-way street in favor of only rentmen.
If this disclosure has already been made elsewhere on the site, please excuse the repeat.  I cannot find any other mention of this travesty.

This was the beach at Leme this weekend (Posto 1, right above Copacabana whose first beach starts around Posto 2). The beaches in Rio this weekend were particularly crowded and hot  — almost 40 degrees Celsius, even though it was officially the last weekend of winter.
Arrastãoes have been becoming increasingly more frequent in Rio. An "arrastão" in Rio de Janeiro refers to a type of criminal activity where a group of individuals, often gang members, thieves or robbers, work together to target and steal from unsuspecting victims, especially on crowded beaches. They typically move in large groups swiftly through the crowds, usually armed, grabbing belongings and creating chaos. Arrastões are a concern for both locals and tourists, so it's advisable to stay vigilant and take precautions when in crowded areas in Rio de Janeiro to avoid becoming a victim of such incidents.

Speaking of mugging victims and Brazil -
I have visited Brazil more than one hundred times without any muggings or even threats of muggings.
Luck must be on my side.  Caution is USUALLY the key but luck is the main element.

    Statistics, statistics and more statistics.
Unusual things happen.  It is part of a small statistic of tourists getting robbed in Brazil.  On the other hand, how many tourists visit Brazil without any robberies or issues.
Like I said, it was just the "luck of the draw" for you.

Although this is a viewpoint promulgated by social justice "warriors"..I beg to differ. When it comes to physical attraction you can't tell someone they should like women without a vagina or who recently installed a vagina just because they want to be viewed publicly as a woman. That isn't gonna fly. Same way if I tell you I don't eat pork you can't get me to like it just because you shaped it into a roast beef ! Sexual attraction and personal rights aren't always going to agree on perspective.

coriolis888 reacted to BSR in I was accused of rape because I'm a conspiracy theorist, Russell Brand
In some cases, like Bill Cosby & Harvey Weinstein, it's understandable that accusers took so long to come forward.  Both are cases of powerful men who threatened to destroy their victims' careers & lives unless they kept their mouths shut.
Russell Brand never had that kind of power.  His alleged victims could have reported him a decade+ ago.  But if you dare so much as raise an eyebrow about these very delayed accusations, a good portion of our society will vilify you for doubting.
To destroy a man's career and reputation, all that's needed nowadays is an accusation, no evidence necessary, forget a conviction.  The Me Too movement has destroyed the once cherished presumption of innocence.

Nothing about this statement rings true to me at all.
Usually, fully-clothed garotos either have previously scheduled appointments with other clients or are so well sought-after that they never need to disrobe — they just show up and almost immediately get booked and are whisked away, off-site by a client.

I have basically given up on the Village and that is saying something since I bought a condo there in 1998  and kept living there part time for the next thirteen years. It was a great time but unfortunately all good things come to an end.
Now when I visit I stay downtown and hire escorts. Sometimez go to the Village in the daytime but never at night. And I am finding more escorts now live outside the Village if I go to their places. And these neighbourhoods are becoming more nice as the Village declines.
Verdun is a case in point as is Hochelage Maisoneuve. Of course Le Plateau started getting nicer even when I lived in Montreal.
I do attribute the prevalence of drugs being behind the Village's problems.

I just returned to Sao Paulo today.
Ubering from GRU, I noticed less traffic because today is a holiday in  Brazil.
I agree, there is a lot of important new Brazil information in this thread.  It would be a shame to have it removed because of a few posters that keeping interjecting politics and unrelated issues in this BRAZIL thread.
The Uber driver was nice and said he did not have much business today because of the holiday.
I asked him if he wanted to make additional money by driving past areas that were not included in my initial request from GRU to my hotel.
The driver agreed.  My Portuguese is good enough to know what the driver was saying and for understanding the contrast of how Sao Paulo has changed over the past couple of years since the pandemic..
The driver noted the deterioration of Centro greater than it was because of the coronavirus.  He also commented on more homeless people on the streets and he drove me past areas that now have tents with homeless people that were not there prior to the pandemic.
We eventually reached my area were I am staying.  I will be less likely to be involved with a mugger, therefore, the extra cost I pay to stay where I stay is certainly worth it to me (these hotels are only about one hundred dollars higher than less safe hotels.
There are some great hotels not far from Lagoa, including where I am staying.  I am Talking about Rua Alameda Santos where you will find Intercontinental Hotel, Marriott and other good quality named hotels that are in a safe neighborhood where you are not likely to meet a mugger.  This street is one block from Avenida Paulista which is the fanciest and safest street in Sao Paulo.  Surprisingly, even though you will stay in a fancy neighborhood, you will avoid most danger and you will see the better parts of Sao Paulo.
Try it, you might like it.
