My opinion? Yes. When there is an active member listed, the board yawns anyway. Other than for the honorable super-moderator @MikeBiDudelittle mention is made. I know that @JoeMendozatried for awhile, but there was little response. Perhaps an individual poster could make a mention of his or her birthday if it was important to her/him. My birthday listing is not accurate and I have no interest in a birthday greeting, absent lavish gifts!

Only 8 of the 19 birthday wishes for today are current members. I think the other day there were 44 birthdays. It would be more meaningful to wish these greetings to only current members. This is a broken thing right now! 🙂

I read New York, My Village and was fascinated. It is about a Nigerian man coming to work in New York and the experiences he has, particularly sharp on racism. It is very intelligent and very clever.
