  1. I am so lucky to have the most fabulous dreams ever. They are like huge Broadway shows with lots of color and interesting characters. If I could create in real life the sets I create for my dreams, I'd be famous! The think I like most about the dreams is that they are usually warm-hearted.
  2. The former poster Ed James posted in 2019 about this play. https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/110217-lehman-trilogy-to-transfer-to-broadway/?tab=comments#comment-1413339 You can read it, but the thread cannot continue despite the fact that it is still topical. I scratch my head over such silliness. Anyway, I have a ticket to see it next month and hope I am as mesmerized as other patrons claim to have been by the three part show. With 2 intermissions, I won't need Depends.
  3. Dave Chappelle is taking all kinds of hits in the media, but I think those folks have not fully watched his special Closer. He makes jokes, that's his job. But in full it's hard to see him as transphobic if you actually listen to what he says.
  4. I hate the ESPN commentators who think that people tune in to hear them talk at the expense of the game, but TBS was also quite obnoxious as they repeatedly showed their logo during the game- hundreds of times. It was annoying. The moral of the story seems to be to root for the opposite team that I root for. My Yankees lost, and then my Giants. I won't be watching the rest of the games. baseball is now over for me.
  5. Post the video! We'll tell you if it is hot, and how hot! We're all kind, so don't fear! 😀
  6. You are not paying attention if you believe that the closet has closed.
  7. I still vividly remember my first visit there. I was in shock at all of the activity.
  8. That's a big if. Given the vaccination rate there and considering that I am now triple vaccinated, I might give it a shot. The private hospitals are better than the public ones, but if I am not protected with three vaccines, then there is no hope. I just don't want to go when it is hot or rainy.
  9. I feel a song coming on!
  10. Man's Country has closed? But I have a lifetime membership!
  11. Why not take him at his word?
  12. Then why enact a new rule? There is no problem to fix.
  13. I resurrected this old post because it was appropriate to my own new post. I thought that was what we were supposed to do-search for similar topics before starting a new one. Sorry if I was wrong!
  14. If you are talking about limiting threads about providers to 2 years, fine. But otherwise, there is a lot of history in our older threads and they should be fair game for discussion. Anything else is an attempt to bury the past, as well as the contributions of long time members. I would rather have it looked at on a case by case activity.
  15. 13 happy birthdays today. 10 of the 13 never posted once, except for one guy who did post once. Almost all of them never returned to the site after that sign-in day. These are not real members, but I wish them all a happy birthday. It's just that they will never see my wishes!
  16. My curiosity is that with so many here into Asian guys, why do they treat them as an other? For one, the guy is always referred to as Asian, even though he might be Asian-American and never stepped foot into Asia. We don't refer to white escorts as "white escorts" so why refer to Asians as "Asian escorts?" Sure, it is okay to mention in the original thread that you have hired someone at an Asian spa, or even a provider who happens to be Asian. But why, forever after, is the guy referred to as Asian? Why not just use his name? Hopefully he is a lot more than just Asian.
  17. Today is again October 11th, National Coming Out Day. A surprise is that Superman's son, Jonathan Kent, has come out of the closet and will be an openly gay superhero! https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/11/arts/superman-comes-out.html From the Times article... "The coming out of Superman, perhaps the most archetypal American superhero, is a notable moment even in an age when many comics have embraced diversity and are exploring pressing social issues. Batman’s sidekick, Robin, recently acknowledged romantic feelings for a male friend (not Dick Grayson — who was Batman’s partner for over four decades — but Tim Drake, a later replacement; there are multiple Robins just as there are multiple Supermen). And a new Aquaman comic stars a gay Black man who is positioned to become the title hero. It has been a steady evolution for an industry that had moved to censor itself in a number of ways after “Seduction of the Innocent,” a 1954 book by the psychiatrist Fredric Wertham, raised concerns about sex, gore and violence and suggested a link between reading comics and juvenile delinquency. In one section, Wertham described Batman and Robin as “a wish dream of two homosexuals living together.”

  19. The NY Times today carries the obituary for Budge Patty, a 1950's tennis champion, who has died at the age of 97. "Known for his style as much as his forehand volley, he was one of only three Americans to win the French and Wimbledon men’s singles in the same year....Patty was almost invariably described as handsome, elegant and a fashionable dresser. " I will admit that I was drawn to the article because of his early pictures: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/08/sports/tennis/budge-patty-dead.html
  20. @glutesAnd you did nothing to cause the ghosting?
  21. I hope that you hear from him! I wonder if he knows about the kerfluffle here.
  22. That's weird. I put a link to it but it has disappeared! It's in The Sports Forum.
  23. His measuring skills seem quite good!
  24. I posted this a couple of days ago!
