I have confidence in @RadioRob. It's just that we, as members, saved this site by our almost unanimous willingness to keep it alive. I thought that going forward, there would be less Daddy style management and more member consensus. I know we never are unanimous, but we showed a clear intent and result when the fate of the site was not looking so good. I have no doubts about the moderators here. I can't discuss their actions, but I can state that I support them and appreciate them, along with @RadioRobBasically I am just saying that consulting the members before making site decisions is a good idea.

Any recent info on @Mikegaite? He is currently in Palm Springs and the comments here, old as they are, are pretty favorable.

There was a time when I believed that a consensus developed my members of the forum set the stakes for the future of the site. In other words, the members decided, not one man. This of course was when the site appeared to be dying after Daddy's death and the members showed the resolve to keep it going.

The guy had no connection to this whatsoever. No one here was talking about hiring him, and neither were you. It was a gratuitous slam, which seems to be something you like to do.

Some of us do care. To gratuitously take someone's profile and slam the guy here even when he is not been a topic of discussion is reprehensible, in my opinion. You could go through Rentmen and find lots of profiles that you don't like, but why bring them here when no one has discussed hiring the guy? And to call a provider, or anyone for that matter, a "toxic piece of garbage" should get you banned.

The series that gay author Michael Nava has created featuring criminal defense attorney Henry Rios came out this spring, but I just discovered it. Lies With Man is, I believe, the eighth in the series, and I have read and enjoyed them all. The latest is about an initiative on the California ballot in 1986 to quarantine people with HIV, one strongly supported by the Christian right. Rios represents a gay man accused of bombing an evangelical church and killing the pastor. It's a good novel that takes us back to an era I had pretty much forgotten. Nava does a good job of creating characters, and his plot is pretty steady. In the course of the novel, Rios is given a love interest, a cute younger man, Josh. It makes for a nice subplot. There's also a hunky bad guy with a nine inch penis, if that sort of thing interests you! If you like gay-themed novels, the Rios series is pretty good. Nava himself seems like an interesting man. His bio says he lives in San Francisco and Palm Springs, but I have never encountered him.

So is the question really "What is your favorite bar?"
