Unrelated to this site is my keyboard's occasional skipping of letters I type, or worse, duplicating one letter repeatedly. Like this kkkkeybord My first thought is that the keyboard is dirty. So I clean it, the problem goes away, but quickly comes back. So I switched to another keyboard. I had the same problem! So, is it the keyboard or the computer? I did buy a new keyboard, but am afraid to take it out of the box until that question is answered. As you can see, my keyboard behaved admirably while typing this post! Thanks for any advice!

I read Anthem these last two days. It is a novel set in the very near future where the threat of climate change is much more serious, and the potential civil war is at hand in the US. The pandemic is over, but a suicide epidemic among young people sets in. Have we created a world that our young cannot live in? Hawley's biting social and political commentary skews left, but just about everybody takes a hit.
