I read New York, My Village and was fascinated. It is about a Nigerian man coming to work in New York and the experiences he has, particularly sharp on racism. It is very intelligent and very clever.

I was quite impressed with the efforts by the police to attend the funeral of the slain officer. They did good by their man. Wish others would respect the tragedy and set aside grievances for the moment.

Rome is the most sexless city I have ever been to. There was a sauna, but so what. It didn't have a single hot guy, and the locals were not interested in tourists. The best you can do is sit on The Spanish Steps and watch the hot Italian guys. The all live with their mother.
