  1. I went to a nude beach once. It was windy and cold, and no one else showed up!
  2. Mets player Yoenis Cespedes did not show up for work today. He later announced that he had decided to opt out this season. The player did not bother to inform the team beforehand. His contract with the Mets ends this season, so essentially he is now an ex-Met. Cespedes did have a shitty day on Saturday, when he went 0-4 and struck out twice.
  3. I've been trying to find out if the plane had left the airport and was in the air when it turned around. It isn't easy. Most articles say it turned around and returned to the gate, implying, to me at least, that it had not taken off. Yet one site says: According to local news reports, a Delta pilot actually took the extraordinary step in recent days of turning a flight around and landing in order to force the compliance of two passengers who refused to put a face mask on. The flight was on its way from Detroit to Atlanta, and it briefly returned to Detroit because of two non-compliant passengers. (bgr.com) (emph. mine)
  4. It's a contest called #bestmuseumbum, and it involves museums across the world submitting their statues to see which one has the best butt. A fun little diversion in these tense times, right? There is no shortage of contestants as sculptors have long loved the bum. https://nypost.com/2020/08/01/museums-compete-on-twitter-to-see-who-has-the-best-butt-art/ https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2020/jul/22/race-to-the-bottom-museum-curators-in-battle-for-bestmuseumbum
  5. Your flight turned back too? That didn't make the paper.
  6. A Delta Airlines flight from Detroit to Atlanta turned around after departure when two passengers refused to wear masks. Bravo, Delta! But those poor folk who did wear masks were pretty inconvenienced by these two assholes. https://nypost.com/2020/08/01/delta-flight-forced-to-turn-around-after-passengers-refused-to-wear-masks/
  7. There are companies that can tell your personality and predict your future behavior from information gathered from your phone. "Operating in the shadows of the online marketplace, specialized tech companies you’ve likely never heard of are tapping vast troves of our personal data to generate secret "surveillance scores” — digital mug shots of millions of Americans — that supposedly predict our future behavior. The firms sell their scoring services to major businesses across the U.S. economy. People with low scores can suffer harsh consequences... Secret surveillance scores create micro-markets in which some consumers are no longer welcome. They divide Americans into “haves” and “have-nots,” with the losers relegated to the status of second-class citizens." The article goes on to say that the scores are not reversible, even if wrong! https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/07/31/data-isnt-just-being-collected-your-phone-its-being-used-score-you/?hpid=hp_save-opinions-float-right-4-0_opinion-card-b-right%3Ahomepage%2Fstory-ans
  8. If you say so. I had a great time with him!
  9. Do you need or want name suggestions @Eddie Morales ?
  10. I could easily accept your premises if you were speaking about an escort.
  11. Nowadays masseurs aren't supposed to advertise that they are sexual or even provide a HE. But back when they could, a NY masseur I saw advertised that he did NOT, and the client was NOT to even ASK! But, he came highly recommended so I hired him. By the time we got to where he was fucking me I realized that the ad was meant to screen those he wasn't attracted to. Your mileage may vary.
  12. I disagree. I can think of many massages that were very erotic but did not involve the insertion of the male organ into an orifice on my body. Some masseurs are wonderful teases and when the climax comes it is as erotic as a backyard blowjob!
  13. For the record, I met @Unicorn at a Starbucks on Market Street at Ninth Avenue in San Francisco. It was Gay Pride Day, but I can't remember the year. A good 20 years ago, though. I think we paid for our own coffees, which we drank standing up. We were meeting because we were fellow posters on the old Hooboy site. There was no suggestion of sex or romance, we just wanted to meet a fellow poster. I have met about 100 of them over the years.
  14. The baseball season cannot take many more cancellations.
  15. Sometimes procrastination has nothing to do with the time the task will take me. It's just the idea of the task that stops me from doing it. Taxes are one, arguing bills is another. Calling a company whose "call volume has increased" is in there too. Lately, showering feels like a burden...phew! ?
  16. A while back? The horse has left the barn! Your opportunity is gone. Your Facebook friend is not there as an escort, so I wouldn't approach him. Keep an eye out for a repeat of the ad.
  17. Season One has ended. Speculation is that Season Two will start in November. https://www.womansday.com/life/entertainment/a30272721/welcome-to-plathville-season-2/
  18. After 45 years in business, one of San Francisco's most popular gay bars, Badlands, has closed permanently. It seemed to have survived allegations of racism against its owner, but the pandemic took its toll. The Castro has been losing its "gayness" over the years, but this seems like a big blow. The question now becomes what will take its place. https://sfist.com/2020/07/30/storied-castro-nightclub-badlands-closes-permanently-after/
  19. I misspoke. Dr. Fauci referred to an eye shield as opposed to a face shield.
  20. Lucky

    Nevermind

The government monitors everything. I am not kidding. Edward Snowden had some revelations there. Your phone calls and emails are scanned for key words, and every phone call is recorded. NSA
  21. Dr. Fauci today said that a shield or goggles should also be worn with a face mask for true protection. We are keeping the virus out of the nose and mouth, but not the eyes. https://www.nydailynews.com/coronavirus/ny-dr-fauci-recommends-goggles-to-prevent-coronavirus-spread-20200730-zfcrdvosjnbthltby3gxnx45e4-story.html I have both a face shield and goggles, but frankly I feel odd if I wear them as it does seem to be overkill. But then, I do respect Dr. Fauci and will probably wear them more often. Definitely if I take a plane ride.
  22. When we share, it means that we want our posts to be seen. But if someone is monopolizing the thread, then their posts drown the post that was meant to be shared. It's not a big deal. Marylander is doing what he wants to do and there is no rule against it. And it can't be easy work posting from morning to night every day.
