Young Hakan would have been a thrill for me even if it was one-sided.

@rvwnsd I am curious why you left San Diego and its beautiful weather for Phoenix. If you care to share...

Exactly.

Body massage in Thailand was a new experience for me. It seems similar to rustyrex's experience. At one sauna, you were on rubber raft and the masseur soaped you up, then himself, and you slid and rubbed into oblivion. Dylanasian, who used to come to Palm Springs, was quite good at it.

There seems to be a concerted campaign by the right to trash the novel at Amazon. I thought Daniel Silva told it like it is.

I did anal training, but back then they just called it potty training!

Popular fiction author Daniel Silva continues his series with Gabriel Allon as the top Mossad man who uncovers all of the necessary facts and saves lives. For readers like me, it is an intelligent approach to popular fiction, and The Order is one of his best. Although from Mossad, Allon here investigates the death of a Pope, and the subsequent murder of a young, gay Swiss Guard who may have seen too much. I found it to be a compelling read, especially as Silva takes a no holds barred approach to Church corruption and the fantasies of the New Testament.

The name would be a turn-off for me.

Enjoying masturbation more than actually real life sex
+ Lucky replied to thetruth's topic in Fetish Forum
It seems that I rarely hear a guy mention his own masturbation habits, so kudos to you! -

Well, obviously I do, but I thought that they allowed a certain number of free articles. I guess not. Here's some of the article: "The HIV/AIDS pandemic had brought death to San Francisco, and the bathhouses had been the topic of a pitched battle for the better part of a year. By the time city health officials announced the closure of 14 bathhouses, most of them gay, along with other clubs and bookstores that offered private rooms for cruising, they had counted at least 175 dead. For city leaders it was a matter of public health. For many in the gay community, bathhouses were where men would have sex with men, yes, but also places where they might build community. What mattered most? Public health or individual liberty? The Washington Post described the scene as “The Bathhouse War.” This summer, 36 years later, and in the midst of another pandemic, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to rescind the ban on bathhouses. The mayor approved the move on July 31. Nothing will happen until the current pandemic has passed and broader restrictions on social distancing have been lifted, but supporters of the move say it’s long overdue — if it was ever necessary in the first place. As conversations around COVID-19 and best practices for reopening and curbing the spread of the virus unfold daily, the parallels are hard to ignore. Back in 1984, even in the gay community, there was a certain ambivalence around the proposed bathhouse closure, said Cleve Jones, a longtime gay rights activist who writes about the topic in his autobiography “When We Rise.” These were very early days for the HIV/AIDS epidemic. There was no antibody test for the virus (that was still a year off), and the question of transmission was still unanswered. But gay rights were also tenuous at the time; sodomy laws were still pervasive and sexual liberation was seen as key to gay liberation. Nobody wanted to watch their friends die or wonder if they might be next. “It was just terrifying,” Jones said. “You had people who were afraid to go into a gay bar. You had people who were afraid to hug.” SFChronicle.com

Bathhouses were closed in the early days of the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco. They can now reopen, but COVID restrictions could delay that. This article has a good history of the fight for bathhouses: https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/Bathhouse-ban-revoked-Amid-one-pandemic-San-15558609.php

@Unicorn, the information you give is new to me. I haven't read it anywhere. But I have a question...a guest wore a K95 mask and claimed that protected him from us and us from him, thus my husband and I did not need to wear masks. This is indoors. Was he right? We kept our masks on.

I once had an escort invite me to dinner after our encounter. We went to a nice, upscale place. I fully expected to pay, but was surprised when he insisted that he pay! It was a huge chunk of what I had just paid him for his services.

I wasn't so lucky. I struggled for years to convince myself that I wasn't attracted to men despite the available evidence. Being busy at school helped, but when I finally graduated law school, I had fewer excuses. I had been dating a lovely woman for five years, but I realized that I was in love with my male roommate. I could never have those feelings with women, so I broke up* and came out. My family was good about it, especially my dad. I've never looked back. *The girlfriend was pissed and never spoke to me again.

Just as localities individually stopped arresting and prosecuting marijuana smokers, the trend toward not arresting and prosecuting sex workers will move slowly forward. Before you know it, there will a national consensus.

Posts here about all the fighting and one-upmanship, arguments in the Politics forum. I don't see them. There is a thread at boytoy.com about all the racists here, and I don't see that either, with one or two exceptions. All in all, I think this is a pleasant place to post and while away the time. With so many posters there is bound to be some conflict, but take it with a grain of salt and move on!
