Doesn't that make your dick and balls look like a teenage boy ? Or is that the effect you were going for ?

I am so grossed out by people who are into kiddie porn it would be a huge turn off to discover a man didn't have any pubes, like I had accidentally hit on a teenager.

No one's talking about removing all the hair. It's called trimming. I would have said "grooming" but I know where you would have gone with that.

  2. It's sad to know that the old days have passed as I liked Santa Monica Blvd. when I lived in LA. Coming from the midwest, I had been in love/infatuated with a guy for years. One day I nearly had a crash driving SMB as there he was, standing on a corner looking available. I did pick him up and of course it wasn't my midwestern love, but so close! I had to shower him and put his shoes outside as they smelled so bad, but we had fun.

I had never heard of triamcinolone until my doctor recently prescribed triamcinolone cream for some very nasty spider bites, and within three days they were almost undetectable.

Spider bites? Did you get them here?

Your chances of being violently murdered for being gay are the highest in Brazil according to this article.

    XTRAMAGAZINE.COM

The article says 242 queer and transgender people were killed in 2022 out of an estimated 19 million queer and transgendered citizens. The study was done by a gay organization and I don't know how it was conducted.

But I agree that 242 deaths are 242 too many. We have no idea if any of them were tourists. One good stat is that the number is a 12% drop from the previous year. Bolsonaro, the notoriously anti-gay president, is out of office so lets hope the number continues to decline.

Obviously I meant everyone I know who's been to Rio.

Clearly not everyone who goes to Rio is mugged, but the ratio of people who are is very high.

Despite a city with beaches, beautiful landscapes and a perfect climate, Rio has a tourist problem. And with the world's eyes turning, it needs to fix it!

The above article was written in 2012. The author actually felt that Rio was safe enough foor him to visit, but his concern was upcoming big events that he didn't feel Rio was prepared for:

"In the next few years, Rio de Janeiro will have the planet’s eyes affixed upon it.

It will host the Catholic World Youth Day in 2013, the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016."

We now have the privilege of looking back at these events and wondering why there was not a huge uptick in crime. At least not one that he used in his February 2023 update which would have proven him right.

This is another example of @pubic_assistance using references that don't hold up.

I don't disagree with him that Rio has a crime problem, but the article suggests staying off questionable streets and not carrying a camera. Duh! If I get robbed, it won't be because I went to a high crime area with a camera.

I’m so confused by this topic as I’m heading to Palm Springs with my younger friend.  He seems to want to check out these clothing optional places.  I’m like, they all look like me.  50 something dad bods.   Plus they all look gross and dirty.

Am I missing something?  Do I need to experience the maze?

Well, you are the same guy who thinks that Pride parades are gross. Grain of salt and all that.

Hate me if you want - but I don’t see these events helping “the community” at all.  It’s just so gross….

I don't think I am faulting "the parade".

I am instead lamenting that the Village is no longer "fashionable" with the young attractive men who used to be here.

Seems we are left with nothing but the left over garbage that can't afford a ticket to a party or dance.

They instead entertain themselves by destroying property and exposing themselves to innocent onlookers.

I do wish there was more policing of the nonsense, but certain groups have underminded the NYPD's ability for effective crowd control.

So Pride marches are "gross" to one poster, and the not-cute people there are "garbage" to another. Sometimes I am ashamed to be a part of this company of men.

No you are faulting the people at the parade- the garbage. Sorry, my mistake.

  9. I subscribe to the NY Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal and the LA Times and NY Daily News. I think my SF Chronicle subscription just ended. I also read the Guardian and the NY Post.

The editorial positions of the Fox newspapers are not my cup of tea. You can count on them to NEVER support certain people or positions, even if someone has just saved the nation. But the NYPost gets good gossip, and what would we do without all of the nearly naked ladies they feature?

It wasn't just the loud bang but that combined with the simultaneous loss of communications and tracking.  The loss of tracking is particularly significant because the transponder that tracks the submersible has its own separate housing and power supply.  James Cameron reported that within the diving community everyone knew on Monday morning that the loud bang + the loss of comms + the loss of tracking could mean only one thing:  the sub was gone.

Why the US government pushed a false narrative for 4 whole days is another issue.  Maybe they honestly believed they could still rescue the 5 people aboard, even if the chances of survival were less than 1%.  Or maybe they were just tickled pink no one was talking about Hunter Biden.

I think it is reprehensible that you inject the politics here. Hunter Biden has nothing to do with the submersible failure. Where are the moderators who complain that posts get too political?
