  1. I use "I Can't believe it's no Butter" spray. Doesn't work well for potatoes - they are too absorbant. But I like it on steamed vegetables, rice, pasta.
  2. You're talking about Medicare Advantage - you can't go out of network for care without prior authorization. Medicare Supplemental policies let you get care wherever you want. I had Medicare Supplemental coverage for awhile, the AARP F plan through United Health. I was just amazed at the flexibility it gives you. You just go in , show them your Medicare card and you're good to go. One year, I had been putting off getting a flu shot. My husband and I were having lunch one day, and right next to the restaurant there was a Sutter Health Walk-in facility. I went in, asked them if they did flu shots, they gave me my flu shot and I was done in about 15 minutes with nothing out-of-pocket. I was disappointed that the part D coverage was so lame because I liked the flexibility of going anywhere I wanted whenever I felt like it. A Medicare supplemental plan ends up being more expensive than Medicare Advantage. The monthly premium was about 50.00 higher and then I had to pay an additional 50.00 for a prescription drug plan that didn't cover any of the meds I take. I pay Kaiser a monthly premium of around 90.00. The co-pays change from year to year - they keep going down. I don't have any co-pay for labs, radiology involves various co-pays depending on the procedure - I think I had to pay 100.00 for a MRI. OTOH, I had a hip replacement last year and my co-pay was $200.00.
  3. I identify as gay, although I do have a little bi streak. One of my fantasies is to tag team a woman with a bi guy. I am verse - equally comfortable bottoming and topping. I am 70 yo - sometimes the flesh is weak and I'm very comfortable defaulting to bottom. I like everything a man has to offer - his dick, his butt, his muscles, his body hair, his face. I love hairy muscle. I'm into FF, so I'm also obsessed with guys' asses and their holes. If a guy has a big dick, terrific, i'm into it. But it's not a requirement.
  4. That was my experience as well. I had a massage guy do an outcall after a hip surgery last year. As he was leaving, my husband paid him in advance for another outcall. I was never able to pin him down - he was always either in Europe, Southern Ca, or whatever. After a few tries, I realized we would have to write the money off. I would think a guy who cared about his reputation would have been more proactive about setting up the appointment he'd already been paid for.
  5. We get a meal kit delivered. I'm going to switch to a different provider that can bring us a Mediterranean Diet. An anti-inflammatory diet is suppose to help with RA.
  6. I'm as positive as anyone can be that I have never been infected. I had a very bad URI that hung on forever in early 2019. And I also developed a light case of shingles while I had the URI. That was the last time I had a cold or anything like it.
  7. I do do girlish stuff- I take good care of my man, I spend lots of time primping, I enjoy needlework, I love my cats, my guests leave my dinner table in awe at the meal they just had, etc etc.
  8. I was a girlish boy and I wanted to do girlish things like play with dolls. I think I even told my mother once that I wished I was a girl, mostly because girls got to do girlish things. In grade school I thought the teachers preferred girls. The girls were all dainty and smug and the boys were always getting sent to the corner for one reason or another. Having grown up, I think there is no greater joy than being a gay man. We get to have beards and hairy chests and all that manly stuff AND we get to make it with guys. Doesn't get much better than that.
  9. IG is all fantasy and fluff- it doesn't ever go anywhere. Of course there's no offer of a plane ticket, because guys just flirt and say things that are meaningless 90% of the time. It's kind of like downing a sugary energy drink. I will say though that a disproportionate number of my IG followers are from Saudi Arabia, Iran or Kuwait - I don't know why. I certainly enjoy the attention from all these handsome hairy middle-eastern men.
  10. A couple other things: White fudge with pecans. Only around Christmas. My mother was never much for baking and fixing Christmas treats, but we had this at Christmas most every year. Popcorn balls. This was a recipe from my grandmother. We had them on Christmas every year - no exceptions. The relatives would come for potluck on Christmas night and we would make popcorn balls. Every year, we had to go out on the same hunt for a store that was open where we could buy the molasses and the brown sugar for the taffy. You would think that my mother would anticipate that we were going to make popcorn balls and have the stuff on hand, but her mind didn't operate that way.
  11. Waldorf salad. I don't remember whether we had it at Christmas, Thanksgiving or both. My father always made it. Never any other time. A few years ago, out of nostalgia, I started making it at Thanksgiving. I use a recipe from Emeril for blue cheese Waldorf salad that includes grapes.
  12. Oh Unicorn, Unicorn - the sound of your dismissiveness is deafening.
  13. The title of the thread was "Have YOU ever made an escort sign an NDA." I agree that others may have more at stake than I do.
  14. Love it.
  15. Maybe you’d be more comfortable calling it a “spike.”
  16. I agree with you and disagree. Yes, it is too early to officially be called a surge. Nonetheless what is happening on the ground certainly looks like a surge. "If it looks like a duck . . ."
  17. I like to sleep naked. Sometimes, when it's cold, I wear a worn-out t-shirt and socks. The fabric in the t-shirt needs to be worn thin so that I don't get too warm. I asked my husband for silk pajamas at Christmas one year. He got me beautiful pair of black silk pajamas. I really felt in the lap of luxury wearing my silk pajamas to bed- and they keep you at a perfect temperature.
  18. As far as I know, none of them has been infected before. One of them is an elementary school teacher - her getting infected was probably nearly inevitable. Unfortunately, she infected her 8 month old daughter. The little girl is doing well, but her mom is pretty sick.
  19. I don' t understand why people aren't more alarmed than they are about this newest surge. In the last two weeks, 7-8 people I know well have come down with COVID, more than I knew about through all of 2020-2021. I'm being ultra-cautious since I'm taking two immuno-suppressive drugs.
  20. I didn't know that. I remember it as being part of the Dior brand. I loved it. I think I would still like it - it was so sexy in a restrained subtle way.
  21. Dunhill Eau Savage
  22. I have done it twice in my life. They were the same type of man-tall, lean, big straight dick, and they fucked the same way- deep and slow.
  23. I was snooping in my oldest brother's room and found a copy of Ann Landers Talks to Teenagers about Sex when I was in 7th grade or so. Read it from cover to cover. It was mostly all stuff I knew already from talking with kids at summer camp and scouts and rehearsals of the boys choir at the Episcopal church. When we were really little, my mother told us all about eggs and sperm without saying a single word about the "act."
  24. There is a Saudi on IG who keeps inviting me to meet him in Dubai. There's never any mention of a plane ticket though. I've been having an IG flirtation with a Kuwaiti. I would much rather meet him in Dubai than the Saudi.
