They have to start somewhere - why not say that you are educated? I assume someone who says he is educated has at least a four-year degree. I have noticed thought, that the more degrees a person has, the less they are impressed by their own degrees.
-
I don't think I have met a provider that I didn't think was smarter than average. I'm not that interested in how many degrees they have so it doesn't ever come up. But it is always a pleasure to have hot sex with a guy who is extra smart.
-
But also, she just dismissed it as silly - no drama, nothing personal, she didn't come to any conclusions about his character or the way he used his time., or whether it was bad that he was trying to be different.

When I do a show, I get a mani/pedicure and a coat of clear polish. I love it. It makes me sad when it wears off.

Im neutral as far as most colors - I can take or leave it. but a man with black nails - whoa. I'm thinking of trying it myself.

Lying about one's age seems to be common in the hookup world too. I have a FB whose profile says he is 55, and I found out recently that he is 60. I'm told that 60 is sort of a glass ceiling. It doesn't matter how hot you are or how young you look, 60 is a deal-killer. So there all these men on hook up sites who give their age as 55 or so, who are actually 60 - 60+. I'm a young 70, but I can't imagine trying to pass for 55.

Doctors and Others: Kidney Stone Prevention Ideas
Rudynate replied to + azdr0710's topic in Men's Health
I have known two guys with a history of kidney stones. They both drink plenty of water -
Both of these guys are very interesting. I have been considering play with a trans-man but haven't done it yet. A trans-man, though, doesn't fulfill the fantasy I described - a cis-man who has a vagina. They do exist, but they are scarce. There is the guy I chatted with in LV who has disappeared. And there is Joe Mangina - a mtf, who then changed his mind and went back to being a cis man. He lives in Socal and I have chatted with him a couple times - he is quite a stud - big muscles, hairy chest - and a gorgeous surgical pussy.

And getting bigger all the time.
-
I would certainly look him up. Thanks so much.

To me jaded is world-weary, spoiled, pouty, expecting somebody to cure your ennui by entertaining you. The OP just craves some novelty - seems very healthy to me.

Sounds wonderful - I'd love a taste. Since I can bone a chicken, maybe I should make it at Christmas.

It was one of the most intimate friendships I have ever had. We were never involved sexually, and there was never any question of it. But we just loved being around each other. I would often go over to his apartment and we would sit and read together all afternoon long. He was very bright and had a great sense of humor and was very quirky and he had a beautiful hairy chest.

I have known anti-semitic Jews. I had a very good friend who was a Jew and anti-semitic. He was so conflcted - he would invite me to come to the Friday night service at the gay synagogue here in San Francicso and then mutter things about "Hebes" all the way through the service. He loved/hated being around other Jews. I'm not a Jew myself but I love and respect Jews and like to be around them. And I'm crazy about Jewish men. One time, I made some hammentaschen and invited him and another Jewish friend over for coffee on Purim. He sat there at the table complaining that they were the token Jews that days. He was just comical.

Grocery Surprises, What's Got Your Goat With High Price?
Rudynate replied to DR FREUD's topic in The Lounge
I read once that that happened more than once in Germany during the runaway inflation experienced after WWI. -

I also don't eat hot dogs. It has never bothered me that they are made from scrap but it does bother me that they are mostly fat and salt -

You're describing a boutique-scale vertically-integrated process for getting the beef to market while it is very fresh. And I don't doubt that that happened at your relatives' family farm. The conventional process is a large-scale, horizontally-integrated process in which the farmer raises the cows, they go to a feed lot for finishing, then to slaughter, then to be butcher and, finally, to market. -

They slaughtered and butchered the animals right on the farm? Unusual. -

Nuke hard ice cream for 15 seconds - its just right. Scoops easily, but not at all melted. -

In the Bay area, Lucky's advertises on Instacart that it offers store pricing for Instacart shoppers. Safeway doesn't offer store pricing and charges significantly more. -
I use "I Can't believe it's no Butter" spray. Doesn't work well for potatoes - they are too absorbant. But I like it on steamed vegetables, rice, pasta.

Medicare question, supplemental vs. advantage?
Rudynate replied to MikeBiDude's topic in Men's Health
You're talking about Medicare Advantage - you can't go out of network for care without prior authorization. Medicare Supplemental policies let you get care wherever you want. I had Medicare Supplemental coverage for awhile, the AARP F plan through United Health. I was just amazed at the flexibility it gives you. You just go in , show them your Medicare card and you're good to go. One year, I had been putting off getting a flu shot. My husband and I were having lunch one day, and right next to the restaurant there was a Sutter Health Walk-in facility. I went in, asked them if they did flu shots, they gave me my flu shot and I was done in about 15 minutes with nothing out-of-pocket. I was disappointed that the part D coverage was so lame because I liked the flexibility of going anywhere I wanted whenever I felt like it. A Medicare supplemental plan ends up being more expensive than Medicare Advantage. The monthly premium was about 50.00 higher and then I had to pay an additional 50.00 for a prescription drug plan that didn't cover any of the meds I take. I pay Kaiser a monthly premium of around 90.00. The co-pays change from year to year - they keep going down. I don't have any co-pay for labs, radiology involves various co-pays depending on the procedure - I think I had to pay 100.00 for a MRI. OTOH, I had a hip replacement last year and my co-pay was $200.00. -
I identify as gay, although I do have a little bi streak. One of my fantasies is to tag team a woman with a bi guy. I am verse - equally comfortable bottoming and topping. I am 70 yo - sometimes the flesh is weak and I'm very comfortable defaulting to bottom. I like everything a man has to offer - his dick, his butt, his muscles, his body hair, his face. I love hairy muscle. I'm into FF, so I'm also obsessed with guys' asses and their holes. If a guy has a big dick, terrific, i'm into it. But it's not a requirement.

That was my experience as well. I had a massage guy do an outcall after a hip surgery last year. As he was leaving, my husband paid him in advance for another outcall. I was never able to pin him down - he was always either in Europe, Southern Ca, or whatever. After a few tries, I realized we would have to write the money off. I would think a guy who cared about his reputation would have been more proactive about setting up the appointment he'd already been paid for.

We get a meal kit delivered. I'm going to switch to a different provider that can bring us a Mediterranean Diet. An anti-inflammatory diet is suppose to help with RA.
