A queen who reigns in her own right is called either a sovereign queen or a queen regnant. The wife of a king is a queen consort.

kind of like Japanese brush painting - know when to stop.

We have one friend who has lived in France for many years. She says the idea that, at some point in her life, a woman should allow herself to go gray is a very American notion and that European women don't have any guilt about wanting to look good until the day they die. She colors her own hair a beautiful rich brunette and sports a very glamorous Jackie hairstyle.

Who is your favorite athlete (Sexually.....not for real ?)
Rudynate replied to wrestlerdanny's topic in The Sports Desk
I don't pay enough attention to athletes to be able to name specific ones, but I love basketball players. I know next to nothing about basketball but I like to watch it occasionally because I like watching those beatiful big men run back and forth on the court. -
I don't think it is a community, mostly for technical reasons. Im sure there is a sociology textbook out there that contains a definition of "community," but I don't know what it is. My idea of a community is that is an ad hoc assortment of people who have something in common - they live in the same neighborhood, they have a common interest, etc. I also think that an essential feature of a community is that community members identify with the community. I don't think this forum is a community because it lacks the ad hoc feature that I think communities have. The group has an announced purpose. People join this group by opening an account and establishing login credentials. They are provided with an orientation to the group's purpose and standards of conduct. The group has moderators that are tasked with enforcing the standards of conduct. Group members can be disciplined or even banished for failing to conform to the group standards. This is more like a club than a community, even though it may resemble a community on the surface.

Most service professionals who have given it any thought have an avatar client. I'm guessing that for escorts who stay really busy, 9- or 10- good looks are not an essential characteristic of their avatar client.

USA approves sale of lab-grown meat made from cultivated cells!
Rudynate replied to marylander1940's topic in What's Cooking
I read a science-fiction novel once, can't remember the title, where everybody ate synthetic meat - only the extremely wealthy could afford real naturally-produced meat. -

Does anybody know if there was insurance? There are carriers who specialize in coverage of very high-risk scenarios.

It was sort of a joke. In a few studies of people who have what I have, an incidental finding was that they tended to live a little longer than the general population (emphasis added).

When I was a little kid, our neighbors across the street had her mother living with them, and she was over 100 years old. When I was looking for skilled care for my father, I toured a Methodist home. They told me that centenarians were starting to become commonplace - they had 11 or 12 of them among their residents. I wouldn't say that I have ever known a centenarian though. I knew an almost-centenarian. He was a resident at the assisted living facility where my mother lived. He was just a few months short of 100 when I met him. He was a retired philosophy professor, and we just hit if off - loved talking with each other, developed sort of a man crusch for each other. It was very sad when I heard he had died.
-
That's a good question. It was several years ago when I met him.

When it comes, it comes, of course. But my plan extends well beyond 75 yo. That's the upside of having an autoimmune condition - surprisingly, my life expectancy is longer than average.

Great - I'll take it!

Yes - great experience. Highly recommend.

You're doing everything right. Get that DXA scan so you know where you are WRT your T score. If it is less than 0, start a supplement program, consider HRT, talk to the doc about meds.

I'm just having a bad year relative to my health- I'm nowhere close to being ready to cash it in. I just started a new business this year.
-
Henry Cavill likes to get fisted?? That is totally hot. I would definitely fist him.
-
Bone health. Get an occasional DXA scan. Keep your T score > 0. How do you do that? Weight-bearing exercise, supplemental calcium, vit D, vit K2, hormone replacement, and, possiby, meds.
-
Of course, I don't know him, but I imagine Henry Cavill has plenty of money. It is impossible to predict, tho, what somebody will do out of a sense of adventure, so if you caught him on the right day, who knows?
-
I would have closed the loop in a single interaction. Say “sorry, that’s not in my budget,” thank him for his time and move on.
-
Be forewarned though. Your doc may say, "Oh, that's normal for your age, you don't need TRT" (emphasis added). But of course, the whole point of TRT is to have more energy, better libido, sharper mind, etc., not to feel like an 80 year old. So you may have to push back a little.

My mother spent her final years in a Veterans home, but she thought she was on an extended vacation at a nice resort
