  1. Most service professionals who have given it any thought have an avatar client. I'm guessing that for escorts who stay really busy, 9- or 10- good looks are not an essential characteristic of their avatar client.
  2. I read a science-fiction novel once, can't remember the title, where everybody ate synthetic meat - only the extremely wealthy could afford real naturally-produced meat.
  3. If they believe their own lies, they are delusional.
  4. Does anybody know if there was insurance? There are carriers who specialize in coverage of very high-risk scenarios.
  5. It was sort of a joke. In a few studies of people who have what I have, an incidental finding was that they tended to live a little longer than the general population (emphasis added).
  6. When I was a little kid, our neighbors across the street had her mother living with them, and she was over 100 years old. When I was looking for skilled care for my father, I toured a Methodist home. They told me that centenarians were starting to become commonplace - they had 11 or 12 of them among their residents. I wouldn't say that I have ever known a centenarian though. I knew an almost-centenarian. He was a resident at the assisted living facility where my mother lived. He was just a few months short of 100 when I met him. He was a retired philosophy professor, and we just hit if off - loved talking with each other, developed sort of a man crusch for each other. It was very sad when I heard he had died.
  7. That's a good question. It was several years ago when I met him.
  8. When it comes, it comes, of course. But my plan extends well beyond 75 yo. That's the upside of having an autoimmune condition - surprisingly, my life expectancy is longer than average.
  9. Great - I'll take it!
  10. Yes - great experience. Highly recommend.
  11. You're doing everything right. Get that DXA scan so you know where you are WRT your T score. If it is less than 0, start a supplement program, consider HRT, talk to the doc about meds.
  12. I'm just having a bad year relative to my health- I'm nowhere close to being ready to cash it in. I just started a new business this year.
  13. Henry Cavill likes to get fisted?? That is totally hot. I would definitely fist him.
  14. Bone health. Get an occasional DXA scan. Keep your T score > 0. How do you do that? Weight-bearing exercise, supplemental calcium, vit D, vit K2, hormone replacement, and, possiby, meds.
  15. Of course, I don't know him, but I imagine Henry Cavill has plenty of money. It is impossible to predict, tho, what somebody will do out of a sense of adventure, so if you caught him on the right day, who knows?
  16. I would have closed the loop in a single interaction. Say “sorry, that’s not in my budget,” thank him for his time and move on.
  17. Be forewarned though. Your doc may say, "Oh, that's normal for your age, you don't need TRT" (emphasis added). But of course, the whole point of TRT is to have more energy, better libido, sharper mind, etc., not to feel like an 80 year old. So you may have to push back a little.
  18. My mother spent her final years in a Veterans home, but she thought she was on an extended vacation at a nice resort
  19. That's a lot of years to devote to child-rearing. We're so fortunate to have bypassed that.
  20. I come from a hardy line - my great-grandfather was fathering children in his 60's.
  21. There's a remedy for that - getting there yourself.
  22. I want to believe that, but a solid year of health challenges is undermining my faith in that view.
  23. You should have seen older women in the 1950s - they wore dark dresses, dark, heavy stockings that concealed their legs, sensible black shoes with clunky heels, no makeup, and they put their white hair up in hairnets - they made Barbara Bush look like a runway model.
  24. True enough.
  25. I cannot believe you said that.
