  1. That's a lot of years to devote to child-rearing. We're so fortunate to have bypassed that.
  2. I come from a hardy line - my great-grandfather was fathering children in his 60's.
  3. There's a remedy for that - getting there yourself.
  4. I want to believe that, but a solid year of health challenges is undermining my faith in that view.
  5. You should have seen older women in the 1950s - they wore dark dresses, dark, heavy stockings that concealed their legs, sensible black shoes with clunky heels, no makeup, and they put their white hair up in hairnets - they made Barbara Bush look like a runway model.
  6. True enough.
  7. I cannot believe you said that.
  8. A friend of mine asked me if I thought bodybuilders using spray tan on stage wasn't blackface. I thought it so preposterous, I had a hard time not laughing in his face. I said "they aren't pretending to be black, just that they have a great tan."
  9. I remember a movie starring Godfrey Cambridge - Watermelon Man - where he played a racist white guy who woke up one morning to find that his skin had turned black overnight.
  10. We've been binge-watching "The Great . . .," a paradoy of Catherine II and her reign. A few of the characters are played by black actors. It was disconcerting at first to see black actors playing 18th century Russian courtiers, but it didn't take much to get used to it.
  11. On RM you can specify just the kind of man you're looking for - muscled-not muscled. dick size, height, weight, hairy/not hairy, top/bottom, ethnicity, etc. You can generate a pool of possibles, narrow the pool by reading the profiles, and when you have a short list, post it here for specific recommendations. It can take as long you want it to take- 5 minute or 5 hours.
  12. That crazy liquid protein diet popular way back when, based on hydrolyzed collagen, would give you ~150gr protein for about 600 calories.
  13. I need to take my own advice. Since bread has started costing 8.00-9.00/loaf, I have been baking bread. I have learned to make a killer loaf of white sandwich bread. We can't leave it alone.
  14. If you eat out a lot, fish and salad are your friends. Skip bread and dessert.
  15. I don’t have any desire to eat more calories than I need. I wasn’t always this way. I have to be mindful about food choices and hydration- those parts require some focus.
  16. It's a jungle out there. Almost any stranger who hits you up on social media is suspect.
  17. On IG, I get occasional DM's from an incredibly handsome Arab who tells me he's the Crown Prince of Dubai. There actually is such a person, but I doubt that he would be sending DM's to random men on social media.
  18. They always want to move the chat to google chat or whatsapp.
  19. A while back - I had a gorgeous young doctor from Dallas whose partner had dumped him and left him with tens of thousands in credit card debt.
  20. A while back, I encountered a version of the oil rig. Incredibly sexy German, he was an "engineer" and had taken a job on an oil rig, the job turned out to be a dissappointment and he needed money to buy out his contract.
  21. Yes!! Amazing-looking guys - they are all recent immigrants, and they have a design firm and they manage their investments on the side.
  22. I was thinking the same thing. Grizzled ass? 48?
  23. Age shaving and other minor (or major) deceits are just a feature of the sexual marketplace,, whether you are talking about sex workers or civilians. I once went home with a guy and he lived in a dinky studio apartment. He told me "this is just my 'other' apartment, I actually live at 'x'" and gave me the name of a prestigious apartment complex. Even as young and naive as I was then, i thought "yea, right." I don't really mind if somebody shaves a few years off their age - to me, it's a harmless white lie.
  24. I don't know why, but that's always my experience. If a guy asked me for payment upfront, I would be happy to pay him. But nobody ever asks - so it is sort of like a geisha experience.
