Yes- big time.

True but you would want to see a doctor who doesn’t hate you for who you are.

If you are in the donut hole, your cost goes up. When you get to the other side of the hole, your cost goes way down because you are getting catastrophic coverage. Some drugs, I don't even have a co-pay for. Others cost a bundle. I use Spiriva - another one that is chokingly expensive- I think my copy for 90 days is around 300.00 - another one I get from India.

I haven't tried it yet, but people are using ChatGPT to create recipes. There's a sexy guy on youtube ("the perfect loaf") who knows everyting there is to know about sourdough bread. He had chatGPT create a sourdough recipe. He said it was pretty good, but not great.

Nonsmoker? Is smoking (tobacco) still a thing nowadays?
Rudynate replied to marylander1940's topic in The Lounge
It is not the same. The only way to contain second-hand smoke it to isolate smokers. A side effect of isolating smokers is that they have been stigmatized. But that's not such a bad thing, For decades and decades, non-smkers were required to share movie theaters, stores, offices, workplaces, classrooms, waiting rooms, etc. with smokers, who were allowed to light up anywhere anytime they wanted to with total abandon. -
You should look into getting from India through IndiaMART - Indian Manufacturers Suppliers Exporters Directory, India Exporter Manufacturer WWW.INDIAMART.COM IndiaMART.com is India's largest online marketplace that assists manufacturers, suppliers & exporters to trade with each other at a common, reliable & transparent platform... I use one of the novel oral anticoagulants (NOAC) that are chokingly expensive - my copay for a 90-day supply is $200.00. The last quarter of the year, because of the donut hole, it costs me $400.00 for 90 days. The full OOP cost is over 600.00/mo. I got a year's supply from India from $300.00.

When I was 21 I moved to Denver at an elevation of 5280 feet (the Mile-High City). I couldn't understand why I was so tired for the first few weeks I lived there. Somebody clued me in that my body had't yet adjusted to the altitude.

Daddies into cigars tend to like big fat cigars with a high ring guage. -

I like a cigar from time to time. Gave up cigarettes long ago. -
I have visited NM quite a few times. Always ready for another visit- great place. I can’t say much about the gay scene, but one thing I noticed in Santa Fe was how easily gays and straights mixed.

SPA, outcall or apartment studio. Which one you prefer?
Rudynate replied to Rand's topic in Questions About Hiring
Agree - different experiences entirely. If I want a professional, therapeutic massage, I go to a spa. Otherwise, I hire somebody from Rentmasseur. Even with a guy from Rentmasseur, I'm not looking for frankly erotic, but I like a well-built guy with little to no clothing and no draping. -
I have a little experience with it, both top and bottom. It's very sexy.

I had a fun interaction with a black woman quite a long time ago. She asked me, "Honey, what ARE you?" I wasn't sure what she meant and asked her what she meant, and she said , "You know, you''re racial background or your ethnicity." I didn't mind at all, but it was a surprising question. I said "I'm just an average white boy, nothing special." People occasionally say that I have an "exotic" appearance, and she was the same. She said, "There's something in there. I can see it!" It was an enjoyable conversation.

I don't ask people who I don't know fairly well. Partly out of an abundance of discretion, but also because I may get more information than I wanted because i'm not that interested. Since I''m not interested in their background, I assume they aren't interested in mine. It's the sort of thing where people think their own history is fascinating but they aren't really that interested in hearing about someone else's. And I'm the same way - I think my family history is fascinating, but I doubt whether anyone else does. Even if I actually am curious, it is kind of a rule for me that I don't discuss "origins" unless I know somebody fairly well.

I can't imagine growing up the way those kids are being raised. I grew up in a classic small-town America environment. During the summer, when we were out of school. we left the house after breakfast, did what we wanted and went where we felt like it 'til lunchtime, then went where we wanted and did what we felt like doing until dinner time. My niece has a one-year old daughter. Her parents take care of the daughter a lot. Their house is exhaustively child-proofed. I find it weird.

I didn't say it was a hard statistic. I said, "I think I remember reading . . ." Ordinarily, but not always, I qualify such a statement by saying , "if this is correct . . ." or "if I remember correctly . . ." Anything I say should always be contrued as my opinion. If someone cites hard evidence that contradicts my opinion, I'm always happy to consider it.

You seem to be confusing the word "incidents" with "incidence." I never said a word about "incidents."

The proportions of heterosexual and homosexual pedophiles among sex offenders against children: an exploratory study K Freund 1 , R J Watson Affiliations PMID: 1556756 DOI: 10.1080/00926239208404356 "the ratio of heterosexual to homosexual pedophiles was calculated to be approximately 11:1."
-
I see. I remember reading that statistic somewhere, but I'm not married to it, if your's is from a reliable source.
-
You're not doing the right math. What I said was that the "incidence" is equal. For example, X% in heterosexuals and X% in homosexuals. So, if we accept the estimated incdence of homosexuals in the general population as 10% , for every single homosexual pedophile in the general population, there will be 10 heterosexual pedophiles.

Thanks for pointing that out. That’s what I get for posting impulsively.

I used to use a caffiene-free workout formula from BIOTEST that contained a lot of tyrosine. It wasn't as jittery as products with caffeine. A dose of tyrosine gives you a very nice lift.
-
Even better - although I thought I remember reading that the incidence was about the same between the two groups..

Your comment strongly implies that pedophilia in gay men is somehow related to the fact that they are gay. But the incidence of pedophilia being approximately equal in gay and straight populations indicates otherwise. It stands to reason that a pedophile's behavior would be aligned with his/her sexual orientation.
